Fudge, Tyson B.
Tyson B. Fudge, 20, passed away unexpectedly July 21, 2008 on Grand Manan Island, N.B. Tyson had a great love and passion for reading, his computer, and spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves behind his loving parents, Robert and Goldie Fudge; his brother, Sheldon, of Grand Harbour, N.B.; grandparents, Bennett and Thelma Fudge; and Melvin and Mable Ginn, both of Comfort Cove-Newstead, Nfld.; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visiting was held from the Immanuel Pentecostal Assembly for immediate family on Thursday; friends and neighbours were invited on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. for visiting hours with Tyson’s family.
The funeral service was held from the church on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 2 p.m., with Rev. David Williston officiating.
Interment followed at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
Tyson’s family has requested donations may be made to the Immanuel Pentecostal Assembly or the Grand Manan Museum, in his memory.

Farnham, Lloyd Ivan - At Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, N.B., Aug. 20, 2008, Lloyd Ivan Farnham, husband of the late Mary C. (MacDonald) Farnham, of St. Stephen, N.B.
Survived by his daughter, Donna Sherman, Windsor, Ont.; grandson, Aaron; granddaughter, Sheree; one sister, Sheila Acheson, St. Stephen, N.B., one sister-in-law, Joyce Farnham; several nieces and nephews; and special friend of the family, Tom Booth.
Predeceased by his daughter, Joanne; brother, Charles (Jack) Farnham; sisters, Charleen Hunt and Betty (Elizabeth) Stuart.
Funeral service was held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Church Street, St. Stephen, N.B. on Monday, Aug. 25, 2008 at 10 a.m.
Interment at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
Visiting hours were held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008.

Mathews, Tristan Allan
Tristan Allan Mathews, of Lubec, Me., passed away July 21, 2008. He was born Sept. 16, 1984 in St. Stephen, N.B.
Tristan was an amazing songwriter and singer. He loved his family and friends with all his heart. He enjoyed playing basketball and video games. Tristan also had a passion for fashion and life.
Tristan leaves behind his mother, Betsy Massicotte; father, Shawn Mathews; brothers, Samuel, Shayne and Kaleb; stepsisters, Selena Fitzsimmons, Deanna and Danielle DelBiondo; paternal grandmother, Jane Mathews; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. (Cdn.), Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008 at Mulholland Point, Campobello, N.B. A service will also be held Aug. 2 at 1 p.m. (U.S.) at West Quoddy Head Park, Lubec, Me.
Worrell, Lloyd Calvin Dr. Everett
At Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, N.B., Aug. 22, 2008, Lloyd Calvin Worrell, husband of the late Frances Margaret (Morris) Worrell, of McAdam, N.B.
Survived by two daughters, Jean Louise Norlock (Patrick), Gatineau, Que., and Janice Elizabeth Worrell, McAdam, N.B.; two sons, Gary Leslie (Sylvia), Hampton, N.B., and Dale Morris (Lynn), Montreal, Que.; three grandchildren, Todd Norlock, Kimberly Jo Swartz and Gerald Todd Clayton (Terri Ann); three great- grandchildren, Maxwell Todd Clayton, Gwendolyn Sue Clayton and Jacob SwartzReiner; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife; one son, Wayne; one daughter, Sharon; one grandson, Mark Douglas Clayton; one brother, Frank, and two sisters, Evelyn Palmer and Thelma Jean Worrell.
Rested at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B., from where funeral service was held on Monday, Aug. 25, 2008 at 11 a.m.
Interment at Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB.
Visiting hours were held at the funeral home on Sunday August 24.

McIntee, Lois Jean
At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, N.B., on July 25, 2008, Lois Jean McIntee, of St. Stephen, N.B. She was the widow of Randall Edward McIntee and daughter of the late Hazen and Jessie (Fisher) Dougherty.
Survived by one son, Greg, of St. Stephen, N.B.; one daughter, Mary Ellen Fitch (Peter), of St. Stephen, N.B.; stepdaughter, Carol Anne Beckett, of Florida; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Doug Dougherty (Betty), of Mayfield, N.B.; two sisters, Shirley Labrecque, of St. Stephen, N.B., and Mary Scribner, of Calais, Me.
She was predeceased by son, Bill McIntee, and one brother, Hazen Dougherty.
Funeral service will be held from Kirk-McColl United Church, King Street, St. Stephen, N.B., on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 2 p.m.

Merrill, William Gordon
William Gordon Merrill of Lethbridge, Alta., beloved husband of the late Joan Elizabeth Merrill, passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008 at the age of 77 years.
William, or Gordon, as he liked to be referred to, served as a peacekeeper with the Canadian army from 1955 to 1961 where upon his honourable discharge, he received the United Nations Emergency Force Medal in the Middle East, where he was serving.
Upon his return home he met his wife, Joan, and they were married sometime later. They resided for some time, southern Ontario to raise their four children and, after some -time they moved to Alberta until their deaths. Gordon loved to fish and travel which is why he chose truck driving as a long-term career.
Gord will be sadly missed by his children and grandchildren and will remain in our hearts.
William is survived by his three daughters, Crystle of Edmonton, Alta., Cindy and Roxanne and stepdaughter, Sherrie; two sons, Jamie, of Lethbridge, Alta., and stepson Francis, of St. Stephen, N.B.; grandchildren, William James, Sable, and many more; sister, Ruth Merrill, of St. Stephen, N.B.
Besides his loving wife, Joan, William was predeceased by his parents, Karl and Gertrude Merrill.
Cremation will be as per his request with a memorial in St. Stephen, N.B., at a later date.

Williams, V. Josephine (Jo) Leaman
V. Josephine (Jo) Leaman Williams, 82, of South Portland, Me., formerly of Deer Island, N.B., and Seadrift, Tx., passed away on Friday, July 25, 2008. She was born Feb. 16, 1926, in Rockport, Tx., to the late Walter Charles and Verna Lee Ives Gray. She was predeceased by husband, Douglas Leaman, on Dec. 15, 1971, and husband, John Williams, on July 24, 1990.
Jo attended Rockport schools in Rockport, Tx., where in high school she was a member of the cheerleading squad. She devoted herself to home and family throughout her life.
She enjoyed reading, swimming, dancing, watching football, travelling and doing charity work. Jo will be remembered as a gentle, compassionate and gracious "southern lady" who treated everyone with respect and kindness. She entertained friends and family by reading tea leaves, very often accurately predicting the future.
Jo was a member of the Women of the Moose for 31 years. In 1984, she achieved the Academy of Friendship Degree. She was also Academy of Friendship chairman for many years. In 1997 and 1998, she was chosen co-worker of the year. In 1998, she also held the office of treasurer. Jo was also a member of the Auxiliary of the Eagles because her role models, Eleanor Roosevelt and Bess Truman, were devoted to the organization.
She is survived by three daughters and their husbands: Hazel and Edward Reagan, of Pottstown, Pa., Carol and Eric Waleryszak, of Exeter, N.H., and Joan Leaman and Robert Farley, of Cape Elizabeth, Me.; a stepson, Robert Williams and his wife, Debbie, of Westbrook, Me.; a stepdaughter, Diane Dyer and her husband, Skip, of Freeport, Me.; grandchildren, Edward Reagan and wife, Susan, Dolores Reagan and fiancé, Frank Corretini, Seth Waleryszak and wife, Avantika, Brandon Leaman-Farley and Jared Leaman-Farley, Brenda Dyer and son, Shawn Couture, and Terry Crocker and husband, Steve. She is also survived by a brother, Felix Dorsey and his wife, Annette, of Port Lavaca, Tx., and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by her brothers, Noble and Walter Gray; her grandson, Jeffrey Waleryszak; and her nephew, Roger Gray.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, with a service by the Women of the Moose at 6:30 p.m. at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland, Me.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at the funeral home.

Kucerovsky, Patricia Ann
The death of Patricia Ann (Woodside) Kucerovsky, beloved spouse of Daniel Zdenek Kucerovsky, and devoted mother of Johan Daniel Kucerovsky and Jamieson Tomas Kucerovsky, passed away on Aug. 19, 2008 after a long illness, at the age of 43 years.
She is survived by her mother, Edna Woodside, of Moore’s Mills, N.B., and predeceased by her father, Horace Woodside. Also, she is survived by her brothers and sisters, Leonard Woodside (Marlene), of Toronto, Ont., Katherine Carter (Art), of St. Stephen, N.B., Sandra Boles (Rick), of Fredericton, N.B., Deborah Barter (Jim), of Fredericton, N.B., Michael Woodside (Brad), of Toronto, Ont., Brenda Greenier (Donnie), of St. Stephen, N.B., Bonnie Cameron (Scott), of Moore’s Mills, N.B., Lori Haggerty (Michael), of Fredericton, N.B., and Corey Woodside (Stan) of St. Stephen, N.B.
There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will take place at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Thursday, Aug. 28, at 2 p.m.
Interment will take place in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, and for those who wish, memorial tributes made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.

Ashford, Donald Irving
At Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor, Me., on July 28, 2008, Donald Irving Ashford, of Andersonville, Charlotte Co., N.B., and Orange City, Fla.
He was a graduate of Athol High School in Massachusetts and was employed as a machinist at Sherwood Medical in Deland, Fla., Zero Medical Manufacturing in Massachusetts, and Smith & Wesson as a toolmaker.
He was a Deacon of the Open Bible Baptist Church, Orange City, Fla., and a charter member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Deltona, Fla.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marjorie (Reynolds) Ashford; children, Donna Casserly, Ohio, Jean Olmstead (Dale), Florida, Mark Irving Ashford (Awilda), Florida, Carol Ann Hawk (James), Massachusetts, and Wayne Charles Ashford, Calais, Me.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
A graveside service will be held at the Moores Mills Rural Cemetery, Moores Mills, N.B., on Friday, Aug. 1, 2008 at 2 p.m.
