Elizabeth "Betty" Allan STEPHENSON
August 20, 1924 - September 26, 2007
STEPHENSON, Elizabeth "Betty" Allan (Waring) passed away peacefully at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, after a lengthy illness.
Born on August 10, 1924, Betty was the daughter of the late J.A. Willis and Ethel (Allan) Waring, and beloved wife of the late John A. Stephenson.
Our very special wife, mother, and grandmother will be sadly missed by her family. She has left each of us with loving memories that we will cherish forever.
Betty is survived by daughters Nancy (Charles) Orchard, Jill (Joseph) McLaughlin, Janet (Brian) Belyea, all of Quispamsis, and son Mark (Mary) Stephenson of Moncton. Also survived by grandchildren Meredith and Neil Orchard, Margot and Lindsay McLaughlin, Robyn and David Belyea, Kate and Chris Stephenson, and great granddaughter Lauren McLaughlin.
A good neighbor and friend to many, we will all miss her cheerful smile, gentle giving nature and world class chocolate chip cookies.
Besides her parents and husband, Betty was predeceased by her brother, Robert Waring and granddaughter, Dr. Mary Jane McLaughlin.
Resting at Castle Funeral Homes "Fallsview Chapel", visitation will take place on Friday, September 28 from 2-4, 7-9 PM.
Funeral service on Saturday, September 29 at 11 AM at Fallsview Chapel will be followed by interment at Cedar Hill Extension cemetery.

Margaret Ann WHITAKER
September 1, 1959 - September 30, 2007
Margaret Ann Whitaker passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 30, 2007
Mrs. Margaret Ann (Woodman) Whitaker of Upper Golden Grove, wife of Ed Whitaker. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of Joan (Fowler) and Garfield (Woody) Woodman.
Margaret was a member of RCL Branch #87 Greenwich and was an avid dart player. In her younger days she played broomball and softball. She enjoyed the comforts of her camp in Sussex where she organized “Survivor Weekend” and Girl’s Night Out.
Surviving in addition to her parents and her husband, Margaret is survived by her son Tyler, at home, her daughter Allyssa Whitaker (Bryan Garner) of Saint John, her brother Gary Woodman (Shelly) of Woodman’s Pt., her two sisters; Karen Hobart (Paul) of Grand Bay – Westfield and Susan Woodman of Woodman’s Pt., several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Robert Woodman, brother-in-law Stephen Wilband, her mother in-law Agnes Whitaker and father-in-law Bert Whitaker.
Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John. Funeral service will be held at “Fallsview” Chapel on Thursday, October 4, 2007 15, 2007 at 11 a.m.
Visiting at Castle “Fallsview” on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m., and Wednesday from 2-4, 7-9 p.m.
Following the service a reception will take place at Fallsview Family Reception Centre.
A RCL Tribute Service will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Muriel I. Saunders
April 29, 1924 - September 1, 2007
On September 1st, 2007 Muriel Irene (Hynes) Saunders aged 83, passed away peacefully at the Perley Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre in Ottawa, with her son David by her side. Born in Change Islands, Newfoundland, Muriel was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rita (Bown) Hynes and was a 39 year resident of Moncton. Beloved wife of the late Isaac (Ike) Belbin Saunders. Dear mother of David (Wendy) Saunders, Carolyn (Bob) Bateman and Brian (Cathi) Saunders. Nana will also be remembered fondly by her grand children Erin, Robbie, Heather, Scott, Adam, Brendan and Dawn, as well as her great-grand children, Mara, Mateo and Tia. Muriel is also survived by her sister Clarice (Hynes) Watton, sister in law Elsie (Saunders) Thornhill and brother in law Hedley Saunders as well as many nephews and nieces. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 6th at 1:00 pm at St. James Anglican Church, 101 Fairview Drive at St. George Blvd. Moncton. A reception for friends and family will follow the service at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road Moncton. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. If so desired, memorial donations in memory of Muriel may be made to the Stars for Life Foundation for Autism, 250 Brackley Point Road, Charlottetown, PE, C1A 6Y9.

Evelyn Geraldine BELL
August 21, 1929 - October 2, 2007
Geraldine (Gig) Bell (Gorman) of Rothesay, passed away on October 2, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
She is survived by her mother, Evelyn (Tott) Gorman; daughter, Linda (Bob) Boudreau; son, Mark (Sheilagh) Bell; grandchildren, Paula, Randy, Zachary and Sarah; and great-grandchildren, Jordan and Anna, all of Saint John.
She was predeceased by her husband, (James) and her father, (Randolph Gorman).
Visitation will be held at Castle Funeral Home "Kings Chapel", 154 Hampton Road, Rothesay, NB (849-1702) on Thursday, October 4th, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
The funeral service will be held from "Kings Chapel" on Friday, October 5th at 11:00 am.
Donations may be made to: The Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
Emily Blanche COLLINS
May 24, 1946 - October 5, 2007
Emily B. (Perrin) Collins passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a lengthy battle with cancer, on Friday, October 5, 2007.
She was the daughter of Evangeline (Beck) and the late Walter Perrin. Wife of the late Gerald Collins.
She was an avid knitter and cross stitcher, often offering her talents and time to charities, friends and loved ones. Her love and generosity will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her mother-in-law, Doris Collins, of Saint John; 2 daughters, Susan Kay Pollock and Patricia (Trich) Ann Collins, both of Saint John; 1 son, Michael William (Nicole) Collins, of Moncton; her siblings, Bonita (David) Miller, of Salisbury; Stephen (Linda) Perrin, of Clarendon; Beverly McIlveen, of Saint John; Joyce (Creig) Bell, of Lloydminster, Alberta; Brothers-in-law, Bain Collins, of Richmond Hill, Ontario and Donald Collins, of Saint John; 3 grandchildren, Nicholas, Megan, and Austin Pollock; 1 great-grandchild, Nathaniel Pollock; as well as a large extended family.
Resting at Castle Funeral Homes, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave. with visitation on Monday, October 8, 2007 and Tuesday, October 9, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. from Castle Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
