Sabrina Lynn Arsenault
1991-2008

Sabrina Lynn Arsenault, 16, of Dieppe passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton as a result of her injuries in a motor vehicle accident .

Born October 22, 1991 in Moncton, Sabrina was a former student at Moncton High School, and was cherished by her family and many friends. Like any other teenage girl, she loved spending time on Facebook, her cell phone, dancing, listening to music and socializing with her friends.

She will be sadly missed by her mother, Suzanne Arsenault (Paul Doiron) of Shediac, her father, Jason Vienneau of Calgary, Alberta; her two sisters: Samantha of Calgary and Melanie of Shediac; her maternal grandparents, Diane and Donald Arsenault of Shediac and paternal grandparents, Lynn Parent of B.C. and Joseph Vienneau of Calgary; her maternal great grandmother, Betty Bettes and maternal great grandfather, Georges Sterling both of Nova Scotia; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2008 at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Pointe du Chêne followed by a reception at the Pointe du Chêne Community Center. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery, Shediac. If so desired, donations to the I.W.K. Foundation would be appreciated.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297).

Bernice I. LeBlanc
1952-2008

Bernice Isabel LeBlanc, residing in Ottawa but formerly of Moncton, passed away at The Ottawa Hospital on Tuesday August 5, 2008 at the age of 55.

Born October 4, 1952 in Moncton, she was the daughter of Jean-Paul LeBlanc and the late Isabel MacLellan.

Besides her father of Moncton, she is survived by her life partner, Fred Goguen; two sisters: Anne-Marie Arsenault (Gérald) of Moncton and Pauline Thériault (Max) of Saint-Jean; three brothers: Donald (Monique) of Fredericton, Mark (Janice) of Moncton and Claude (Carolyn) of Sussex; as well as several nieces and nephews.

One brother, Owen; and a sister, Claire predeceased her.

Bernice was employed by the Privy Council of Canada.

The mortal remains will not be displayed. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday August 9 at Christ-Roi Church in Moncton. Interment will be in the Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire cemetery in Dieppe.

At the request of the family, a donation to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation, 737 Parkdale Avenue, Ottawa, ON, K1Y 1J8. Phone. (613) 761-4295 would be appreciated by the family.

The funeral arrangements were in the professional care of Frenette Ltée funeral home, Moncton, NB (506) 858-1900.

Alderice Cormier
1929-2008

At Villa Providence in Shediac, on Friday August 8, 2008, at the age of 79, passed away Alderice Cormier, domiciled at Villa Providence, but formerly of Cap-Pelé.

Born December 12, 1929 in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Denis and Eulalie (Doiron) Cormier.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Loretta (Boudreau) Cormier; five children: Lucille Doiron (Maurice) from Grand-Barachois, Annette Devarenne (Vincent) from Edmonton, Bernice England (Vince) from Cap-Pelé, Marcel (Rachel) from Grande-Digue and Jean-Guy (Léa) from Petit- Cap; his brothers and sisters: Albina O'Brien (Willie) of Shediac, Vitaline Vienneau (Alfred), Rodolphe (Éveline) and Lionel (Catherine) all of Cap-Pelé, Jean (Isabelle) of Charlottetown; nine grandchildren: Mélanie, Daniel, Nicole, Chantal, Joey, Jaimee, Jessika, Manon and Jessy; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A daughter, Dorice, a sister, Marie LeBlanc, and a brother, Albénie predeceased him.

Alderice worked for Modern Consruction and retired from Westmorland Fisheries.

The family will receive relatives and friends between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday, and from 9:30 a.m. until departure at 10:20 a.m. on Wednesday, at the Funérarium Frenette, 2642, chemin Acadie in Cap-Pelé (577-3297). Funeral mass will be held at Ste-Thérèse-d'Avila RC Church in Cap-Pelé on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

The funeral management has been entrusted to the professional care of Maison funéraire Shédiac Ltée.

At the request of the family, a donation to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Delphine Landry
1928-2008

`At Villa Providence, on Sunday August 10, 2008, at the age of 80, passed away Delphine Landry, wife of the late Edgar Landry, domiciled at Villa Providence, but formerly of Robichaud Office.

Born February 3, 1928 in Robichaud, she was the daughter of the late Sifroid and Herminie (Despres) LeBlanc. She was a member of the Grand-Barachois Golden Age Club. She was very fond of playing cards, darts, knitting and making quilted blankets and her door was always wide open for anyone who wanted to visit her.

She will be greatly missed by her six children: Noëlla Gallant (Paul), Huguette Bourque (Léo-Paul), Daniel (Joanne), Guy (Linda), Donald (Jeanne) and Pierre (Ginette) all of Grand-Barachois; his brothers and sisters: Aurèle LeBlanc (Dora) of Cap-Pelé, Léo-Paul LeBlanc (Marie) of Moncton, Dora Thibodeau and Angèla LeBlanc of Shédiac; eleven grandchildren: Anik, Scott, Josée, Jason, Mélanie, Dawn, Jessica, Marc, Sophie, Mario and Robynn; a great-grandson Maxime, who gave him so much pleasure, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband Edgar (1996), a son Jean (1974), two sisters: Lydia, Rita as well as two brothers: Alias ​​and Alban predeceased her.

The family will receive relatives and friends starting at 2 p.m. on Tuesday August 12 at Frenette Funeral Home Ltée., 396 Main Street in Shediac (532-3297). Funeral mass will be celebrated from Saint-Henri du Grand-Barachois Church on Wednesday August 13, 2008 at 11 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours: Tuesday August 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday August 13, from 10 a.m. until departure at 10:40 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Villa Providence - Autobus fundraising project would be appreciated.

Auréa Drisdelle
1952-2008

At the Dr-Georges-L-Dumont Regional Hospital in Moncton, on Friday July 25, 2008, at the age of 55, passed away Auréa Drisdelle, domiciled in Moncton, but formerly of Lavillette, NB.

Born December 18, 1952 in Lagacéville, she was the daughter of Edmond Drisdelle and Emma Basque. Auréa was a court reporter for the Court of Queen's Bench of New Brunswick in Moncton, a member of TOPS and Rencontre Amicale du dimanche.

She is survived by three children: Vickie, Madeleine and Maurice Rousselle all of Moncton, four sisters: Gisèle Girouard (Léonard) of St-Wilfred, Francine Mercuri (Raymond) of Burlington, ON, Gabrielle LeClair (Aldore) of Allainville, and Syvette Drisdelle (Alex) of Fredericton; nine brothers: Normel (Aline) from Campbellton, Denis, Élie (France) Réjean and Yves (Sandra) from Lavillette, Gérald (Eunice) from Six-Roads, Patrice from Pointe-à-la-Croix, QC, Gilbert from Moncton, Stéphane (Carole) from Village St-Laurent; the father of the children, Florien Rousselle of Hamilton, On .; as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins ​​and friends.

Three brothers: Jean-Claude, Néri and Laurie predeceased him.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29 at Frenette Funeral Home Ltée., 88 Church Street in Moncton. Funeral mass will be held at Saint-Augustin RC Church in Lagacéville, NB on Wednesday, August 30, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Dr. Léon Richard Oncology Center at the Dr-Georges-L-Dumont Hospital would be appreciated.

Geneva hannah
1927-2008

At the Dr-Georges-L-Dumont Regional Hospital in Moncton, on Monday July 29, 2008, at the age of 80, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, Geneva Hannah, residing in Shediac, rue Calder.

Born August 14, 1927 in Notre-Dame, she was the daughter of the late Philippe and Alice (Cormier) Poirier. Geneva worked at Villa Providence in Shediac. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Canadian Legion # 33 in Shediac, a member of the Shediac Seniors Club and a member of the Shediac Hospice.

She is survived by three daughters: Patricia Léger (Dolland) of Dieppe, Bibianne Cook (Douglas) of Shediac Bridge, Gloria Drisdelle (Paul-Yvon Surette) of Moncton; one son, Philip Drisdelle of Moncton; a special friend René LeBlanc, four sisters: Aurore Bilodeau from Leominster, Mass., Angenette Mazerolle and Gloria Jessulat from Shediac, Diana Brown from St-Antoine; one brother Guy Poirier (Gemma) of Notre-Dame, six grandchildren: Sylvie, André, Catrine, Geneviève, Stéphanie, Max; five great-grandchildren: Maya, Jade, Roxanne, Sébastien, and Eve; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

Her first husband Edouard Drisdelle, her second husband William Douglas Hannah, two sisters: Éléonore and Jeannine, as well as four brothers: Jean-Paul, Arthur, Alonzo and Ray Poirier predeceased him.

The family will receive relatives and friends starting at 2 p.m., Wednesday July 30, at Frenette Funeral Home Ltée., 396 Main Street in Shediac (532-3297). Funeral mass will be held at Saint-Joseph Church, Shediac, on Thursday July 31, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Visiting hours: Wednesday July 30, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. only. There will be no visitation to the parlor prior to the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Dr-Georges-L-Dumont Hospital foundation would be appreciated.
