Norman LeBlanc
1964-2008
At the Dr-Georges-L-Dumont Regional Hospital in Moncton, on Sunday July 27, 2008, at the age of 43, passed away suddenly Norman LeBlanc, domiciled in Cormier Village.
Born September 20, 1964 in Moncton, he was the son of Ulysse and Cécile (Bourque) LeBlanc of Cormier Village. Norman loved fishing, hunting and motorcycling.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two daughters: Meaghan and Justine, three sisters: Lorette Pugner (Harry), Rose Morin (Jerry) and Florence Goodspeed; four brothers: Roger (Barbara), Roméo (Clara), Laurie and Roland (Wendy); as well as several nieces and nephews.
The mortal remains will be on display at the Église de la Foi Inc., 3800 Acadie Road in Cap-Pelé, NB, on Wednesday July 30, 2008, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, July 31, from 10 a.m. until the funeral. at 11 a.m. The funeral arrangements were in the professional care of Frenette Funeral Home Ltée., 396 Main Street in Shediac (532-3297).
Lynn "Evelyn" Smith
A prayer service will be held at Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire cemetery in Dieppe on August 1, 2008 at 10 a.m. for Mrs. Lynn "Evelyn" Smith, domiciled in Moncton, Kenneth E. Spencer Home who died on Monday July 28, 2008 at the age 94.
The funeral arrangements were in the professional care of Frenette Funeral Home Ltée., 88 Church Street, Moncton.
Lloyd W. Melanson
Lloyd W. Melanson, domiciled in Dieppe, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Monday July 28, 2008 at the age of 69.
Lloyd was a member of the Moncton Police Force, Director of Citizen Relations for the City of Moncton, Manager of the New Brunswick Hawks A.H.L. and founder and owner of Lloyd's of Moncton until his retirement in 1995. He spent several winters in St-Petersburg, Florida.
Lloyd was born and lived most of her life in Moncton's West End. He lived in Grand-Barachois for 10 years before moving to Dieppe. Llyod has been involved in the community as a member of the Probus Club and the Rotary Club of Shediac. He was a determined worker and a man devoted to his family.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 48 years Josette (Gauvin) Melanson, his daughter Doctor Karen Melanson and her husband Claude Bourgeois of Dieppe and his mother Mable (LeMénager) Melanson, 92 years of Villa du Repos in Moncton. He was a very proud grandfather of his grandchildren: Samuel and Alexia.
His father Walter (1993), as well as his daughter Jo-Ann (1991) predeceased him.
Lloyd will be greatly missed by all, but will never be forgotten.
The family will receive relatives and friends starting at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 31 at Frenette Funeral Home Ltée, 88 Church Street, Moncton. Funeral mass will be celebrated from St-Bernard's Church, 43 Botsford Street, Moncton, on Friday August 1, 2008 at 11 am. Interment will be in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire cemetery in Dieppe. Visiting hours: Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. only.

Cedric Leger
1916-2008
At Villa Providence, Wednesday July 30, 2008, at the age of 92, passed away Cedric Léger, domiciled at Villa Providence, but formerly on Main Street in Shediac.
Born April 6, 1916 in Sackville, he was the son of the late Hilaire and Marie-Jeanne (LeBlanc) Léger. Prior to retiring, Cedric was co-owner of Transocean Timber Agents. He was formerly a member of the Board of Directors of the Shediac Cooperative, a member of the Golden Age Club and the Boishébert Club of Shediac.
He is survived by two daughters: Germaine Pitre (Léo) of Shediac, and Claire Léger (Francis Chisholm) of Berry Mills; three sons: Dollard of Shediac, Léo-Paul of Fredericton, and Emery (Andréa) of Haute-Aboujagane; two sisters: Lorraine Dupuis of Memramcook, Élizabeth Léger of Dieppe; a special friend Eva O'Brien of Shediac, five grandchildren: Nannette, Joanne, Marc, Patrick and Pascale; two great-grandchildren: Isabelle and Benjamin, as well as several nieces and nephews.
His wife Marie-Anne (Léger) Léger (1992), one son Yvon, four sisters: Louise, Thelma, Corinne, and Evelyn, as well as six brothers: Oswald, Patrick, Laurie, Léo, Robert and Emery preceded him in the fall.

Funeral mass will be held at Saint-Joseph Church in Shediac on Saturday August 2, 2008 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours: Friday August 1, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday August 2, 9:30 a.m. until departure at 10:20 a.m.

J. Clovis Richard
1921-2008
At his residence, on Thursday August 21, 2008, at the age of 86, passed away Joseph Clovis "Cliff" Richard, domiciled in Moncton.
Born August 30, 1921 in Memramcook, he was the son of the late Anastase and Minnie (Sonier) Richard.
He is survived by seven children: Marie Rina Matheson (Louis Arsenault) and Clarence all of Moncton, Geraldine Zojaji (Bob) of Australia, Anne Crosby (Jim) of New York, Andrew of Trois Ruisseaux, Roger of C.- B. and Gordon from Basse-Aboujagane; one sister, Bessie (Arnold Cyr) of Pictou, NS. ; two brothers: Albert (late Lucie) of Cap-Pelé and Léo (Hermance) of Mass .; three grandchildren: James, Benjamin and Duncan; a great grandson, Colin; his ex-wife, Julie (Chevarie); as well as several nieces and nephews.
One stepson, Murdoch Matheson; and several brothers and sisters predeceased him.
He was retired with the Department of Oceanography after 40 years of service, a WWII veteran and member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 6 in Moncton.
The remains are on display at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street in Moncton. The funeral will be on Tuesday August 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the St-Bernard Church in Moncton. Interment will be in the Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire cemetery in Dieppe.
Visiting hours Sunday and Monday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, from 1 p.m. until departure time (1.30 p.m.).
Veterans will have a memorial service Monday evening at Frenette Funeral Home at 7 p.m.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
Marcel Richer
1949-2008
Suddenly at his residence, on Saturday August 23, 2008, at the age of 59, passed away Marcel Richer, domiciled in Haute-Aboujagane.
Born June 13, 1949 in St-Hubert, QC, he was the son of the late Hector Richer and Lorette Desgroseillers.
He is survived by his wife, Rose (LeBlanc) Richer; two daughters: Melissa (Charles) and Joanie (Mathieu); five sisters: Pierrette (Gilles Bissonnette), Rita (Ronald Robinson), Rolande (Roger Roy), Lorraine (Yves Thériault) and Jacqueline (Alain Abourousse); as well as several nieces and nephews.
A sister, Thérèse Shaw, is predeceased.
He worked at A-1 Hardwood Floor and a member of the Haute-Aboujagane Hunting and Fishing Club.
The remains are on display at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street in Shediac (532-3297). The funeral will be held at the Sacré-Coeur Church in Haute-Aboujagane on Thursday August 28 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Visiting hours Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday from 9 a.m. until departure (10:10 a.m.).
A donation to a charitable charity of the choice would be appreciated by the family.
