Edith Cormier
1918-2008
Edith Cormier, 89, of Manoir St-Jean-Baptiste, Bouctouche, formerly of Saint-Antoine, passed away Monday, October 6, 2008 at the Manoir following a lengthy illness.
Born November 25, 1918 in Saint-Paul, she was the daughter of the late Hector and Sara (Allain) Cormier.
She is survived by two sisters: Geneva LeBlanc (late Alyre) of St-Paul and Aline Cormier (Théodule) of Gardner, MA; two brothers: Edmond (Marguerite) of Ste-Marie and Aurèle (Lorraine) of Florida, an adopted brother, Yvon Richard (Eva) of Moncton, many nieces, and nephews.
Visitation Tuesday, October 7 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at St-Antoine l'Ermite R.C. Church, Saint-Antoine, from where the funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, October 8 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Saint-Paul.
Funeral arrangements under the direction of Frenette Funeral Home, Moncton.
Phil LeBlanc
1922-2008
Louis-Philippe "Phil" LeBlanc, 86, of Principale Street, Memramcook, died Monday, October 6, 2008 at The Moncton Hospital.
He was a retired maintenance foreman with CN.
Born in April 25 1922, he was the son of the late Ernest and Rachel (Audet) LeBlanc; father of Terry, Donald, and Phyllis Grotten (Harry); grandfather of Michael and Danielle (Chris); great-grandfather of Alex; brother of Rena, René, Georgette, Harold, Marcel, Lorraine, Gaston, Ed, Françoise, Jim, and Marielle.
No visitation or funeral service by request. Cremation arrangements under the direction of Frenette Funeral Home, Moncton.
Bliss Arsenault
1922-2008
Bliss Arsenault, 86, of Trois-Ruisseaux passed away on Monday, October 6, 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a lengthy illness.
Born August 26, 1922 in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Louis and Marguerite (Surette) Arsenault. Mr. Arsenault worked as a custodian at the CN Plaza in Moncton for 24 years prior to his retirement.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Geneviève (Brun) Arsenault, nine daughters: Marguerite Léger (Jean-Paul) of Grande-Digue, Anita Cormier and Yvonne Goguen (Emery) both of Trois-Ruisseaux; Linda Robichaud of Cap-Pelé, Irène Hébert (Frances) of Grand-Barachois, Albertine Belliveau (Raymond) and Jeannine Robichaud (Ronald) both of Dieppe, Carmella Cormier (Armand) of Cocagne, and Nancy Arsenault (Émile Vautour) of Shediac; one son Léo (Gisèle) of Grand-Barachois; one sister Irène Richard (Raymond) of Ottawa, ON; eighteen grandchildren: Michel (Marcia), Nicole, Monique (Martin), Paul, Angie, Tammy (Wayne), Joey, Janelle, Jessica, Adam, Ricky, Joshua, Tracy, Shawn, Sharon, Luc, Natalie and Samuel; four great grandchildren: Isabelle, Tyson, Justin and Kierra; and by many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by an infant son Louis, one sister Élizabeth Curwin, and by one brother Donald.
Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Wednesday, from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Thursday, from 1p.m. until time of departure 1:50 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 2p.m. at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé. Interment in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital (Cardiology Unit) would be appreciated.

Cherie Clements
1950-2008
Cherie (Légère) Clements, 58, wife of the late Norman J. "Dobby" Clements of Pointe du Chêne passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a lengthy illness.
Born July 11, 1950 in Truro, N.S., she was the daughter of the late John Joseph Légère and the late Virginia Arsenault.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Kelly Daigle (Brian Brennan) of Ottawa, ON, two sons: David Daigle and Derek Daigle (Barbara Harrell) both of Moncton; a sister Carole Luffman (Ray) of Dartmouth, N.S.; two grandsons: Justin and Brett and by many friends. She is predeceased by husband Norman "Dobby" in 2006.
Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday, from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. only. No visitation prior to the funeral. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2008 at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-du-Chêne.

Donald Boleyn
1926-2008
Donald Boleyn, 81, of Acadie Rd., Cap-Pelé passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a lengthy illness.
Born November 7, 1926 in Cormier Village, he was the son of the late Charlie and Amanda (Robichaud) Boleyn. Mr. Boleyn was a Correctional Officer with Correctional Service of Canada at the Dorchester Penitentiary for 25 years prior to his retirement. His passion was spending time on the Duguay Bros. Farm and attending the Regional Horse Pulls with his friend Norbert.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Élizabeth (Duguay) Boleyn, two children: Charleen Burke (Brian) of Portage and Donnie (Micheline) of Bas Cap-Pelé; a sister Yolande Landry of Riverview, four grandchildren: Jessica, Sarah, Jeremy and Marc; three special nieces: Lorna Rose, Donna and Jocelyne and by many friends.
He is predeceased by a sister Iota Carrol.
Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, from 10 a.m. until time of departure at 10:50 a.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Henri Leger
1949-2008
At the Moncton Hospital on Thursday October 2, 2008 at the age of 59, passed away Henri Leger, residing in Riverview.
Born in Shediac on September 21, 1949, he was the son of Stella (LeBlanc) and the late Léandre Leger (1993).
Besides his mother of Moncton, he is survived by his wife, Linda (née LeBlanc), a daughter, Denise (Troy Gallant), a step-daughter, Krissey LeBlanc (Ryan MacLeod); two grandchildren: Gabrielle and Abigail; his brothers and sisters: Jeannine (Paul LeBlanc), Murielle (Dave Arsenault), Cécile (Reg Leger), Claudette (Keith Williams), Roland (Stella), Roger, Maurice (Nancy) all from Moncton, Normand from Grande Cashe, AB, several nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
She is predeceased by a sister, Bernice (Charles Cormier) (1996).
The family will receive condolences on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street in Moncton. Funeral mass will be held at the N.-D.-de-Grâce RC Church on Monday October 6 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the N.-D-du-Calvaire cemetery.
At the request of the family, a donation to the Moncton Food Bank Inc. would be appreciated.
