André Phillippe Renaud
1982-2008
André Phillippe Renaud, 26, of Portledge Ave., Moncton passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton.
Born May 3, 1982 in Moncton, he was the son of Yvon and Jacqueline (Bourgeois) Renaud of Shediac. André was employed at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. He enjoyed music, playing games, especially chess, was an avid reader, and a film buff.
Besides his parents, he is also survived by a sister Julie Doiron (Claude) of Shediac, a brother Jean-Luc (Julie LeBlanc) of Moncton; his maternal grandmother Marie Bourgeois (late Éric) of Grande-Digue, his paternal grandmother Marguerite Renaud (late William) of Shediac; by several aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends. A special aunt and uncle Claude and Ella Renaud of Haute-Aboujagane, and special cousins: Samuel and Lise of Moncton.
Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., Chapel and Cremation Services, 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. where a Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Interment will be in the St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery, Shediac.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Beauséjour Family Crisis Resource Centre Inc. (533-9100) or to the Moncton Chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association (859-8114) would be appreciated.
Norman Joseph LeBlanc
Peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, November 8th, 2008, passed away Norman Joseph LeBlanc, beloved husband of Ethel (McGrath) LeBlanc.
Norman was a retired Financial Adviser, a member of the Knights of Columbus and attended St. Lawrence O'Toole R.C. Church, Irishtown. He was the loving father of Patrick of Irishtown and Teri (Dale Gaston) of Waterloo, ON; dear grandfather of Danny, Ashley, Brittany, Matthew, and Joshua; great-grandfather of Tianna; brother of Mathilde Melanson of Campbell River, BC, Émeline Boucher of Moncton, Lindor of St. Damien, NB, and Laurie of Oshawa, ON. Predeceased by a sister, Hélène Poirier; three brothers: Abbé, Wilfred, and Antoine.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church Street, Moncton on Monday, 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday, from 12:30 p.m. until time of departure 1:35 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at 2p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at St. Lawrence O'Toole R.C. Church, Irishtown. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Dr. Léon Richard Oncology Center of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital or to a memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.

Sr. Stella Arsenault
1912-2008
Sister Stella Marie Arsenault, (Sister Marie-Gérard), age 96, of Maison-mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, Moncton, passed away Friday, November 28, 2008, at the convent following a lengthy illness.
Born in Nigadoo October 10, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Emma (Doucet) Arsenault.
Besides her religious family, she is survived by three sisters: Carmelle Cormier (Laurent), Jeanne Doucet (Rufus) and Sr. Dorice Arsenault, NDSC; many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Edmond, Gérard, Ligouri, Roméo, Émirilda, and Rita.
Visiting hours Sunday from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Pavillion Notre-Dame d'Acadie of Maison-mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, 141 King Street, Moncton (Godfrey Street entrance) from where the funeral mass will be held Monday December 1st at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Memramcook.

Eva Richard
1908-2008
At the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Monday, December 1, 2008, passed away Eva Richard, age 100, wife of the late Éric Richard of Résidence Aventure, Moncton, formerly of Richibouctou Village.
Born August 15, 1908 in Richibouctou Village, she was the daughter of the late Mélême and Geneviève (Thibodeau) Roy.
She was the last survivor of her immediate family and is survived by many nieces, and nephews.
Visitation at St-Antoine-de-Padoue R.C. Church, Richibouctou-Village, Wednesday December 5 from 2 p.m. followed by the funeral mass at 4 p.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Eric Skanes
1929-2008
Passed peacefully away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, December 1st, 2008, Eric Skanes, 79, of Royal Court, Riverview, NB, formerly of St. John's, NL.
Born June 15, 1929 in St. John's, he was the son of the late Charles and Gertrude (Tucker) Skanes.
He was a retired Electrical Engineer.
He will be sadly missed by his three loving children: Paul (Laurie) of Calgary, Lisa (Jerry Mourelatos) of Montréal, and Susan (François Cormier) of Moncton; three grandchildren: Matthew, Nicholas and Celia; his brothers and sisters: Donald (Lydia) of Ottawa, Gwen (Bob Solodzuk) of Burlington ON, Marie (Ralph Green) of Ottawa; May (Rex Smith) of Vineland, ON, Louise Slawinski of Virginia, and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his wife, June (Pike); sisters, Gertrude and Linda; three brothers: Leslie, Edgar, and Llewelyn.
Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home in St. John's, NL, on Friday, December 5, from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service also at Barrett's on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 2pm.
The family would like to thank Dr. Li, the staff of 5600, the Palliative Care Unit and the Oncology Clinic of The Moncton Hospital.

Réal Doiron
1935-2008
Réal Doiron, 73, of Moncton, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at The Moncton Hospital.
Born September 10, 1935 in Acadieville, he was the son of the late John and Marie (Cormier) Doiron.
He was employed at Lane's Bakeries and Roy's Midway as a truck driver before his retirement. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by three children: Suzie Silvea, Lisa, and Danny (Bonnie) all of Moncton; three grandchildren: Allan, Shane, and Sasha; five great-grandchildren: Jasmine, Kiara, Shanika, Tatyana, Aiesha, his special friend, Jeanne Savard; his brothers and sisters: Robert (late Dottie), Léandre (Stella), Hector (Alfreda) all of Acadieville, Roger (Rose) of Riverview, Raymond (Zita), and Léo-Paul (Antoinette) of Moncton, John (Grace) of Rexton, Léonard (Maria) of Richibouctou, Ulysse (Doris) of Memramcook, Élise Doiron of Collette, and his former wife, Elva (Arsenault).
A sister, Jeannine Lagasse, predeceased him.

Elizabeth LeBlanc
1938-2008
Elizabeth "Betty" LeBlanc, 69, beloved wife of Robert "Bobby" LeBlanc of Lakeville passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born December 18, 1938 in Newcastle Bridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Evangeline (Cormier) Beers.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her four daughters: Linda Bourque (Bob) of Riverview, Debbie Vrensen (Frank) of Lakeville, Sandra Dube (Brian) of Mount Uniack, NS, and Cindy Holmes (Wayne) of Lakeville; six grandchildren: Chris, Amanda, Sacha, Tim, Nathan, and Jessica; four great grandchildren: MacKenzie, MacKayla, Jessica, and Abigail, her lifelong best friend, Edmée Hachey, many nieces, and nephews.
She is predeceased by two brothers; Hector and David; a sister, Ethel Keenan.
