1929-2011
TILLEY ROAD - Surrounded by his family at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, on Sunday January 23, 2011, at the age of 81, passed away Valère Mallet, husband of Cécile Duguay. He lived in Tilley Road. Born April 14, 1929, he was the son of the late Thiburce Mallet and the late Elizabeth Duguay.
Besides his wife, he is survived by five daughters: Anna (Donat Parisé), Raymonde (Robert Gionet) and Jeanne-Mance (Armand LeBouthillier), all of Saint-Sauveur, Diana (Jules Vienneau) of Toronto and Chantal (Serge St -Pierre) of Tilley Road; five sons: Norbert (Alphonsine) of Beauport, Robert (Betty) of Évangéline, Raymond (Nicole) of Losier Settlement, Jean-Claude (Annick) of Saint-Sauveur and Jean-Guy (Réjeanne) of Tilley Road; three sisters: Laura (late Edmond Chiasson) of Le Goulet, Maria (late Albert Doiron) and Alinda (late Jacques Duguay), both of Tilley Road; one brother, Siméon (Sophie) of Pokemouche; 23 grandchildren: Corina, Aline, Sylvain, Stéphane, Emilie, Danny, Kathleen, Bob, Annik, Yvette, Doris, Julie, Gilbert, Monica, Karine, Rémi, Tommy, Yannick, Francis, Alexandra, Hélène, Valérie and Andréanne; 20 great-grandchildren: Tania, Jacinthe, Lorie, René, Louise, Sophie, Rosalie, Samuel, Maryse, Marie-Pier, Jessica, Véronica, Chloë, Amanda, Alicia, Guillaume, Julie-Pier, Koralie, Louka and Marc -Olivier; a future great-grandchild and a future great-great-grandchild; a very special friend, Sandra Richard, as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and cousins.
A daughter, Aline; two brothers: Aurèle and Hilaire, as well as a sister, Emilienne, predeceased him.
The mortal remains will be on display at 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 24, at the Robichaud & Fils funeral home, 3875, rue Principale, in Tracadie-Sheila (info@salonrobichaud.com). The funeral will be held at Saint-Isidore Church in Saint-Isidore on Wednesday January 26 at 1:00 p.m.

Rosilda Breault
1924-2011
At the Mgr-Chiasson residences in Shippagan, on Wednesday January 26, 2011, at the age of 86, passed away Rosilda (Basque) Breault, wife of the late Édouard Breault. She used to live in Néguac. Born in Saint-Pons,
NB, she was the daughter of the late Isaïe Basque and the late Césarée Thibodeau.
She is survived by the children of her husband: Marguerite Desjardins (Jeannot) of Néguac, NB, the Honorable Justice Paul Duffy (Connie) of Grand Falls, NB and Jeannette Friel (the Honorable Justice John) of Miramichi, NB; two sisters: Aldora Hampton de Lepreau,
NB, and Geraldine Hill of Madison, Ohio; one brother, Hormisdas Basque (Bertha) of Saint-Jean, NB; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; several sisters-in-law, as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and cousins.
Two sisters: Rosilda I and Alma, as well as seven brothers: Gérard I, Gérard II, Léonard, Mathias, Isaïe, Stanislas and Vincent, predeceased her.
Visitations will be held from 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 31, at the Robichaud & Fils Funeral Home, 50 Otho Street, Néguac (info @ salonro bichaud.com). The funeral will be held at Saint-Bernard de Néguac Church on Tuesday February 1st at 4 pm. Mass will be celebrated by his nephew, Father Stanislas Paulin.

Isabelle Comeau
1950-2011
SAINT-SAUVEUR - At the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, on Friday January 28, 2011, at the age of 60, passed away Isabelle (Foisy) Comeau, wife of the late Onile Comeau (1998). She lived in Saint-Sauveur, but formerly in Timmins, Ont. Born July 5, 1950, she was the daughter of the late David Foisy and the late Marguerite Ouellette.
She is survived by two sons: Gilles (Chantal) of Quebec and Denis at the family home; one daughter, Nathalie (Joachin) of Saint-Sauveur; a granddaughter, Roxane de Saint-Sauveur; five adopted grandchildren: Bobby, Julia, Chloé, Noémie and Joanie; five brothers: Ron (Cheryl), Raymond, Allen, Guy and Gary (Diane), all of Timmins, Ont .; four sisters: Anne (Roger) of Sarnia, Ont., Lily (Joe), Lise and Aline, all of Timmins, Ont .; his godmother, Élise McMilliain, as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and cousins.
Two brothers: Joseph and Paul in infancy; one sister, Caroline at a young age; her stepfather, Frédérick Comeau, and her stepmother, Rita Gallien, predeceased her.
Ms. Comeau worked in the field of health care with the elderly.
The mortal remains will be on display starting at 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 31, at the Robichaud & Fils Funeral Home in Allardville (info @ salonro bichaud.com). The funeral will be held at Sainte-Bernadette-Soubirous Church in Saint-Sauveur on Wednesday February 2 at 2 p.m.

Albert Breau
1944-2011
NÉGUAC - At the Saint-Jean Regional Hospital, on Friday January 28, 2011, at the age of 66, and deceased Albert Breau, husband of Nicole Basque. He lived in Néguac. Born December 26, 1944, he was the son of the late Georges Breau and the late Léona Breau.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Catherine (Pierre Simard) and Murielle (Ernest Tully), both of Moncton; one son, Johnny (Marie Bélanger) of Calgary; four grandchildren: Brandon, Marielle, Clara and Jonathon; two brothers: Walter (Gisèle) from Néguac and Hubert (Lorie) from Toronto, as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother, James.
The family will receive condolences at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 3, at Robichaud & Fils Funeral Home de Néguac. The funeral will be held at Saint-Bernard de Néguac Church on Friday February 4 at 4:00 p.m.

Wilfred Brideau
1934-2011
BRANTVILLE - At Tracadie-Sheila Hospital on Sunday January 30, 2011, at the age of 76, passed away Wilfred Brideau. Husband of the late Rosanna McLaughlin and spouse of the late Bernice Comeau. He lived at the Résidence Sonier in Tracadie-Sheila, but formerly in Brantville. Born September 18, 1934, he was the son of the late Israel Brideau and the late Clémentine Brideau.
He is survived by six daughters: Violetta (Sandy McLaughlin) of Fredericton, Patricia (Auguste Thibodeau) of Saint-Wilfred, Fernande (Roby White) of London, Réjeanne of Campbellton, Léanne of Woodstock and Mireille (Stéphane) of Montreal; six sons: Lorenzo (Marie-Louise) of Nashwaak Village, Ulysse (Valmonde) of Brantville, Fernand (Antoinette) of Gratton Road, Delphis (Chantal) and Claude (Ginette), both of Oshawa and René (Claudette) of Bonaventure; one sister, Alphonsine of Doaktown; three brothers: Côme (Bertha), Léon (Lois) and William, all of Fredericton; two sisters-in-law: Charlotte Doucet of Richibouctou and Albertine Brideau of Bathurst; two brothers-in-law, one special, Vincent McLaughlin of Village Saint-Laurent and Raymond Chiasson d´Allardville; two aunts: Lucie Breau de Néguac and Régina de Pont-LaFrance; 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as several cousins, cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends.
A girl, Huguette (1996); one son, Rhéal (December 2009); two sisters: Madeleine (2009) and Alfreda; three brothers: Israel (2010), Aldoria and Claude, as well as his mother's spouse, Emile Doiron, predeceased him.

TRACADIE-SHEILA - Surrounded by the love of her family at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, on Monday January 31, 2011, at the age of 14, passed away Jessie Légère. She lived in Tracadie-Sheila. Born May 15, 1996, she was the beloved daughter of Lauréanne Légère. Besides her mother, she is survived by a very special aunt, Claudette Légère; her aunts and uncles: Rose-Marie (Richard Brideau) of Tracadie-Sheila, Gloria (Mike Jones) of Barrie, Ont., Valmond (Colette) of Rivière-du-Portage, Jeanne D'Arc of Tracadie-Sheila, Denise (Melvin Bourgeois) from Boishébert and Paul from Rivière-du-Portage; her godfather and her godmother: Michel Légère and Martine Légère, as well as several cousins.
Her maternal grandparents: Jérôme and Ida Légère, as well as an aunt, Jocelyne, predeceased her.
The mortal remains will be on display starting at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 3, at the Robichaud & Fils funeral home, 3875, rue Principale, in Tracadie-Sheila. The funeral will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church in Rivière-du-Portage on Friday February 4 at 11 am.

Marie Elizabeth Girouard
1912-2011
VILLAGE SAINT-LAURENT - Peacefully at the Tabusintac nursing home in Tabusintac, on Sunday February 6, 2011, at the age of 98, passed away Marie "Elizabeth" Girouard, wife of the late Magloire Girouard (1996). She lived at the Tabusintac care home, but formerly in Village Saint-Laurent. Born February 20, 1912, she was the daughter of the late David Kelly and the late Marguerite Savoie. She was the adopted daughter of the late Bruno and the late Elizabeth Poirier.
She is survived by nine daughters: Carmelle Barrieau Matchett, Isabelle (Aimé Nault), Claudia (François Beaulieu), Marguerite (Normand Desroches), Blanche (Charlie Roach), Mélita (Léo Pineau), Corinne (Edgar LeBreton), Violette and Micheline; six sons: Amand (Jeanne D’arc), Ronald (Lucienne), George (Marguerite), Lucien (Linda), Léonard (Gisèle) and André (Sylvie); four half-sisters: Mathilda Kelly Murdock, Ethel Marie Kelly, Marguerite Rolfe Flutter and Leta Rolfe Bennewise; one daughter-in-law, Emilie (late Léandre “Léo”); 63 grandchildren, 92 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, as well as several sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and cousins.
Two sons: Léandre “Léo” and Etienne; a daughter, Isabelle, as well as several half-brothers and half-sisters, predeceased her.
Ms. Girouard was a member of the Dames de Sainte-Anne, the Christian Women of the parish of Lagacéville and the Golden Age Club "The Meeting of Friends" of Saint-Wilfred. She was very fond of music. She was a loving and devoted mother of great faith.
The mortal remains will be on display from 2 p.m. on Wednesday February 9 at Maison Robichaud & Fils in Néguac (info@salonrobichaud.com). The funeral will be held at Saint-Augustin Church in Lagacéville on Thursday February 10 at 4 pm.
