Donna Ann (Crouse, Chase) Andries
1939-2010

The passing of Donna Ann Andries occurred on February 21, 2010 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was 71. Born in Barker’s Point, NB on February 8, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Sarah (Conley) Crouse.
Donna was a seamstress for several years having worked at Peter Roberts and the Towne Shoppe.
Surviving are her husband Auguste (Gus) Andries, 3 daughters Lori Chase (John) of Vancouver B C, Shelley Bentley (David) of Fredericton, Gina Cummins (Brian) of Ontario, 1 son Randy Chase (Sonya) of Tennessee, USA, and their father Charlie Chase (Marie Claude) Montreal Quebec, 3 stepchildren Cathy Smith (Eldon) of Woodstock NB, Mike Andries (Delta) also of Woodstock NB, and Kelly Andries Basque (Claremont) of Quebec, 2 brothers John Crouse (Ethel) of Fredericton, Cedric Crouse (Irene) of Fredericton, 3 sisters Christina Horsfall of Fredericton, Iona Merrithew of Fredericton and Verna Weatherstone of B C. 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by a daughter Terry Leigh Chase, brother Ernest Crouse, and granddaughter Jenica Faye Chase.
Visitation will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road on Monday, February 22, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 2 pm from the 1st Wesleyan Church on Duncan Lane, with Rev. Karl Ingersoll officiating. Memorials may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Pallbearers are Bob Deap, Eric Barnett, John Fila, Charles “Sonny” Grasse, Hal Peterson, and Bill West. Honorary pallbearers are Heather Landry, Cindy Mills, Sally O’Donnell, Lucie Boulay, Susan Saunders, Marion Dexter, Lynn Critchlow, and Alex Trask. Donna will be sadly missed by her fellow bowlers, Monday and Thursday Seniors at Kingswood Bowling Lanes.

John Chiasson
1928-2012

John Chiasson passed away in March 2012 at the age of 83. He lived in Losier Settlement. Born November 6, 1928, he was the son of the late Willie Chiasson and the late Alice Wilson.
He is survived by a sister, Myrtle (Richard Mallet) of Six Roads, his sweetheart, Lorraine Mazerolle d'Allardville, as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins ​​and cousins.
Four sisters: Stella Robichaud, Thelma, Phyllis Boudreau, Ethel Picard; he was predeceased by a brother, Charlie.
The mortal remains will be on display at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday March 11 at the Robichaud & Fils Funeral Home, 3875, rue Principale, in Tracadie-Sheila. The funeral will be held at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens Church in Pont-Landry on Monday March 12 at 2 p.m.
Visiting hours: Sunday, March 11, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday, March 12, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Nancy L. Little
1939-2010

The passing of Nancy Louise Little of Fredericton, wife of James A. “Jim” Little occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Thursday, February 25, 2010. Nancy was born September 11, 1939 in Sharon, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Seve and Kathryn (Tomer) Nemes.
Nancy was a member of St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church. She was employed with Secureall Ltd. for 20 years and faithfully aided and supported her husband Jim in his work with the S. P. C.A.
Nancy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 40 years, James A. “Jim” Little; a son Kevin Little (Glorea) of Saint John; two granddaughters Sheila and Serena both of Saint John; a half-brother Dennis Gaines (Pat) of Texas; her mother-in-law Annie Little of Miramichi; four sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews. Nancy loved animals and is also survived by her cat “Punkie”.
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, 1 William St., Fredericton, on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment at a later date. Memorials to the NB S.P.C.A. would be greatly appreciated.

Alan Frederick Adamson
1954-2010

The passing of Alan Frederick Adamson of Fredericton occurred on Sunday, February 28th 2010 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Stellerton, N.S, he is the son of Frederick Adamson & Mary Ohrling.
United by faith & a former member of the Lions Club in Burton, Alan was a labourer by trade most of his life at the Liquor Corporation.
Survived by his son Brett Warren Alan Adamson of Fredericton, his parents, sister Valerie Lynn Adamson of Lincoln and his friend and former wife Beverley of Fredericton. He was predeceased by one brother John Robert Adamson.
Visitation will take place on Friday, May 7th at the Lincoln Baptist Church from 1 until service time at 2 PM, Rev. Steve Ranni will officiate assisted by Rev. Greg Sparkes. Interment will follow in the Lower Lincoln Cemetery.
For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Following the interment, a reception will take place at 4 Barker Court in Lincoln. Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Warren, Paul Voutour, Larry Gulliver and Ron Cyr.

Raymond Gabriel Sacobie
1942-2010

Raymond Gabriel Sacobie passed away peacefully on Feb. 13, 2010 at his home in Minto. He was 67. Born in Oromocto, NB, he was a son of the late Michael Raymond and Julia (Paul) Sacobie.
Raymond worked for the city of Fredericton’s Parks and Tree department until his retirement in 1981 following an accident.
Survived by his loving wife of 39 years Sylvia (Nash); sons Michael (partner Angel Dewitt), Philip (partner Leanne Roman) and daughter Susan Lee (husband David); grandchildren; Daniel, Jessie, Emilie, Mullen, Samantha and Ivy. Sisters Diane and Rosie, brother Michael “Sandy”. Also by his loyal companion Copper, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel on Monday Feb. 15, 2010 from 7-9 PM and Tuesday Feb 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be at Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday Feb. 17, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating.
Memorials may be made to the SPCA or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Anne Matilda “Nana” Cooke
1927-2010

Anne M. Cooke of Fredericton passed away peacefully on Feb. 15, 2010 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was 82. Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Euphemia (Jeffrey) Phillips and wife of the late William Jesse Cooke.
Nana was an avid gardener and loved spending her summers at her trailer in Cambridge Narrows. She loved to golf, curl and was a member of the Moncton Curling Association, as well as a member of the I.O.D.E.
Survived by her sons Jeffrey (Audrey) of Fredericton, Michael (Patricia) of Saint John; grand daughters Andrea, Kelly, and Katie; several nieces, nephews and cousins; sister in law Eleanor Cooke. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday Feb. 16, 2010 from 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be at Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday Feb. 17, 2010 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Tom Smith officiating.
Interment in the Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Mildred A. Jones
1918-2010

Surrounded by her family, Mildred Jones of Nasonworth passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital at the age of 92. Born in Moncton, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Johanna MacArthur. She was an active member of the Nasonworth Baptist Church and a member of the Clara Morgan W.M.S. group as well as a member of the Rusagonis LOBA #423. She was a long time leader in the AWANA children’s group.
Mildred is survived by two sons, Roy and wife Greta of Fredericton, Glendon and wife Ruby of Quispamsis; three daughters, Eileen Meyer and husband Gordon of Noonan, Evelyn Mowat and husband Donald of Cumberland Bay and Brenda MacDonald and husband Joel of New Maryland; 10 grandchildren, Wendy Northrup, Karen Sloan, Peggy Chase, Gail Taylor, Wanda Morehouse, Willa Forestell, Patti Jones, Susan Jones, Kyle MacDonald and Brent MacDonald; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; one sister Dorothy Ward of Salmon Creek and one brother James MacArthur of Grangeville; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Frank and a brother Kenneth.
The family will receive condolences at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, N.B. where visitation will be held Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. The funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 P.M. from the Nasonworth Baptist Church with Rev. David Gray officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
For those who wish, donations to the Nasonworth Baptist Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
