Geraldine "Gerrie" Sheehan
In loving memory of a wife and mother who gave more in life than she ever took. Geraldine "Gerrie" Margaret (Young) Sheehan passed away on Monday, September 14, 2009, after battling inflammatory breast cancer since 2008. Gerrie was surrounded by family and friends in her home in Riverview, New Brunswick, as she left this world at 54 years old. Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, Gerrie was the third child of Frank and Rena (Wallace) Young. She was the baby sister to Peter Young, and Carolyn (Young) Seely. Gerrie met her future husband, Mark Sheehan, while working as a legal secretary and receptionist in Moncton, N.B. They married in 1982 in her hometown of Chatham. Gerrie became a mother in 1984 to daughter Ashley Sheehan, and again in 1987 to son, Jason Sheehan. Gerrie was known for her kindness, gentle spirit, and her sense of humor. She never missed her son's hockey games, or her daughter's events, and always made certain her children knew they were loved. Gerrie was a woman whose bright smile and boisterous laughter brightened any room. Even as she battled cancer, Gerrie continued to keep her family and friends in stitches over her one-liners. She is survived by her husband, Mark Sheehan, and her children, Ashley Sheehan and Jason Sheehan. She is also survived by her parents, Frank and Rena (Wallace) Young. Her sister, Carolyn (Young) Seely, and brother-in-law David Seely. Her brother Peter Young and sister-in-law Lindsay (Batchelor) Young. Her sister-in-law Kim (Sheehan) Northrup and brother-in-law Chris Northrup. Her sister-in-law Patricia (Sheehan) Duguay and brother-in-law Stanley Duguay. Her nieces and nephews including Troy Seely, Shannon Seely-Rydwanski, Trent Seely, Aidan Young, and Robyn Young, Mitchell Duguay, and Myra (Duguay) Welsh. She is also survived by countless friends who have showered her with love and kindness during this tough time. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview with visitation Wednesday, September 16, 2009 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 1:30 pm with Fr. Phil Mulligan officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations can be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in memory of Gerrie. Joseph A. Williams
The death of Joseph (Joe) Willams of 14 Park Dr. Miramichi, NB occurred at the Regional 7 Hospital on Sunday September 13th, 2009 at the age of 93. Born in Douglastown, NB on November 28th, 1915, he was the son of the late Lawrence Williams and Helen Legere. Joe owned and operated his own monument business. In later years he was employed with the Dept of National Defence at the former CFB Chatham as a plumber. He was an honorary life member of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus. Joe is survived by his wife, Carmel of 60 years; son; Larry; daughters, Colleen (Doug) Dolan, Betty Ann (Bobby) Bransfield; brother, John (Joan) of Miramichi, NB as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Frances, Gertrude and Margaret. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Krista (Randy) MacLean, Joey (Tracy) Bransfield, Matthew Dolan and great-grandson, Samuel MacLean who bought great joy to him. Joe Williams rested at Maher's Funeral Home Miramichi, NB on Tuesday, September 15th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th at 11am from St Michael's Basilica with Fr John Fraser officiating. Active pallbearers were Joey Bransfield, Matthew Dolan, Randy MacLean, David Bowes, Bob Turnbull and Ronnie Cook. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Campbell, John Casswell, Les Glazier, Ivan Hallihan, Terry Hore, Frank Kane and Tom Williams. Readers: Krista Bransfield and Doug Dolan. Prayers of the faithful: Hugh Williams The Knights of Columbus Bishop Hill Assembly 4th Degree formed a guard of honor. Interment was in St Michael's Cemetery. Mary Elizabeth Targett
The passing of Mary Elizabeth Targett of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday, June 9, 2003. She was 77. Born in Nashwaaksis, NB, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Hazel (Bailey) Hawkins. Mary was office manager and bookkeeper for Neills Sporting Goods for many years and also worked at City Dairy on King St. and Hartt Boot and Shoe for a number of years. She was Anglican by faith.
Mary is survived by her daughter Leanne E. Targett of Fredericton; a sister, Violet Meade of Fredericton and a brother Herb Hawkins and wife Barb of Fredericton; nieces and nephews. Mary is also survived by her dear friends Marlina Gallagher of Douglas, Doris McMinniman of Fredericton, Mavis Carr and Marlene Murray both of Rusagonis. Predeceased by her parents and husband William Leslie Targett.
Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton where visitation will be held Wednesday 3:30-5 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 12, 2003 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Bill MacMullin officiating. Interment to follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorials to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
Regnar H.E. Hansen
Regnar H.E. Hansen passed away peacefully at his home in Fredericton, NB on May 19th, 2003.
He was born in Odense, Denmark on December 8, 1912 and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1957. His wife Ella predeceased him in 1992.
Survived by son Lennart (Judy) of St, Louis, Missouri, daughter Elisabeth of Toronto, Ontario, son Kim (Winnie) of New Aiyansh, BC, son Bo (Debby) of Fredericton; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; four brothers and one sister in Denmark.
The family will receive friends at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home on Thursday, May 22 at 2:00 p.m. with Mark Farnsworth officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
Margaret Winnifred (Jaffrey) Adams
The passing of Margaret Winnifred (Jaffrey) Adams of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 29, 2003 at the age of 86. Born in Lincoln, NB, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Cora (Hayward) Jaffrey and wife of the late Jesse Burns Adams.
She is survived by a son Glen Adams (Betty); daughter Sally Coffey; chosen daughter Gloria Horsnell; brother Doug Jaffrey (Corlinda); one sister Nellie Langley; four granddaughters Theresa Burge (Jim), Cathy Coffey (Tom), Marilee Rust (Cam), Shawna Horsnell; two grandsons Bob Coffey (Angela), David Adams; special chosen grandson Tom Lyons; three great granddaughters Alicia and Ashley Coffey, and Anna Rust; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; husband; granddaughter Kathy Horsnell; twin brothers Dan and Jack as infants; sisters Greta Goodine and Ida Jaffrey.

J. William (Bill) Barry
At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on May 17, 2003, J. William (Bill) Barry of Fredericton passed away.
Born in Grand-Anse, NB on March 25, 1915, he was a son of the late William and Laura (Whelton) Barry. Bill was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was Roman Catholic by faith and was employed at a paper mill in Alma, Quebec prior to his retirement. Bill was a veteran of WWII having served overseas in England, France, Holland and Belgium.
Survived by two daughters, Judy Barry of Fredericton and Ellen Barry O'Connor and her husband Tim of Fredericton; a son Gordon Barry of Toronto; a granddaughter Melissa O'Connor and a grandson Ryan O'Connor both of Fredericton; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; his wife Mary Ann (Carey) Barry in 1995; brothers Frank and Clifford and sisters Eileen Kelly and Rita Barry.
No visitation. A private service will be held. Memorials to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
Joseph Roger Casaubon
The passing of Roger Casaubon, age 61, of Fredericton occurred suddenly on Thursday, May 15, 2003. Born in Montreal, Quebec, he was a son of the late Raoul and Emily (Russell) Casaubon. Prior to retirement, he was employed with C.M.H.C.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Valerie; 2 daughters Leanne and Stacey Casaubon; his grandson (his pride and joy) Jayden Matthew Veno and Jayden's father Lewis Veno; his sister Suzanne Casaubon Corso; his brothers Gerard and Marcel, and his extended family.
