Bruce L. Hossack
The passing of Bruce L. Hossack of Fredericton, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Sunday, June 15, 2003 at the age of 80. Born in Williamsburg, NB, he was a son of the late George and Eliza (Dorcas) Hossack and husband of the late Estella (Jennie) Jane Hossack. He was employed for many years with the Department of Tourism at Mactaquac Provincial Park.
He is survived by his children Brock and his wife Candace and their son Johnathan of New Maryland, Brent and his daughter Ashlee of Lincoln; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins; brother-in-law Carroll Cail and his wife Pauline of Fredericton; sister-in-law Aleta Black and her husband Chester of Lynnfield, Massachusetts.
Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at 3:30 pm with Rev. Elaine Hamilton officiating.
Interment to follow in the Lower Lincoln Cemetery. Memorials to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
Doris Helen Smith
The passing of Doris Helen Smith of Charters Settlement, NB occurred at York Manor Nursing Home, Fredericton, on Wednesday, June 18, 2003. Born July 9, 1918 at North Lake, NB, she was a daughter of the late Floyd Cosman Smith and Amey Etta (Boardman) Smith. She was a retired teacher having taught school in New Brunswick. She was also employed with the Compensation Board in Saint John, NB.
Baptist by faith, she was a member of the Skyline Acres Baptist Church, a member of the Mary and Martha Group at the church and she was a member of the Canadian Baptist Overseas Mission Board.
Survived by a sister, Myra Gladys Smith; two nieces, Judy McWaid (George) of McLeod Hill and Corliss Pyne of Charters Settlement; great nieces and nephews and two great great nieces. Predeceased by her parents, a sister Shirley Louise Pyne and a nephew A. Charles Pyne II.
Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Friday evening from 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 21, 2003 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Karl Csaszar officiating. Interment in the Fosterville Cemetery.
June Elizabeth Staples
The passing of June Elizabeth Staples of Fredericton occurred June 8, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was 75. Born in Halifax NS, she was a daughter of the late Dorothy (Brown) Foggoa and Daniel Brown. A homemaker, she was Anglican by faith.
Surviving are children Doug Staples, Julie Higham (Tom), Wendy Staples, Margaret Phillips (Bernell), Nancy Staples, Earl Staples (Brenda); Grandchildren: Doug Staples, Joe Bil, Steven Staples, Leanne DesRochers (Hugo), Marc Baril, Stephanie Heenan, Kristin Heenan (Sebastien) Shawn Phillips (Jennifer)Tobie Staples and Matthew Rosenberg; Great-grandchildren Detrik and Kaleb, Sisters; Ola Foggoa, Jeanne Fraser, Judy Foggoa, Brothers; Thomas Brown, Fred Brown and Andrew Foggoa. Special Nephew Sonny Finter, several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Earl William Staples, daughters Marjorie Rita and June Dorothy, her parents, sister Barbara, brothers Daniel (Bud), Laurie, Lloyd and Teddy.
There will be no visitation at the request of the family. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or charity of the donor’s choice. A Private Family service will be held in Dartmouth, NS on June 12, 2003. Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road, in charge of arrangements.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday Nov 18, 2010 at St Joseph’s hospital in her 79th year. She will be sadly missed by Carl, her sons Gregory (Judy) Tom (Laurie), Brian and her daughters Linda (Jim), Dianna (Ron), and Daughter in-law Brenda. Predeceased by her son Richard. Grandma will also be missed by her grandchildren Barb (Mauro and family), Dan (Corrine and Family), Michael and Emma, Trish (Jay and Family), Laura and John, Kelly (Dan and Family), Ashley and Michael, Aaron, Brianne, Chris and Joey. Visitation at BAYGARDEN’S FUNERAL HOME - “William J. Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Rd. East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Saturday November 20, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9pm, with a prayer service at 8pm. STEPHENS-PERKINS
The funeral of Sheena May Stephens-Perkins was held on Monday, September 7th, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. James the Less Church, with the Reverend Eric Phinney officiating. The Eulogy was given by Robert Coterill, and reading of the Fairy Aunt Mother were proclaimed by nieces; Melanie Mitchell, Amanda Foster, and Stephanie Arbeau (author) and nephew; Andrew Brayley. Sheena's niece (mezzo-soprano), Signa Love shared her gift of music by singing "Time to Say Goodbye". Ministry of music was provided by the Musical Coordinator; Dr. Kevin Langford, Violinist; Robert McCausland, Flute player; Helen Gollings, and Hymn Leader; John Frank. The pallbearers were her four brothers, Byron, Trent, Peter and Colin Stephens. Donations made in memory of Sheena were given to: Hospice Greater Saint John; District 6 NBTA Bursary Fund, including one from The District 6 Retired Teachers Association; Mindcare New Brunswick; Canadian Cancer Society, including one from Rothesay Living Museum; Silver Falls United Church; NB Society of Retired Teachers, Saint John Branch Scholarship Fund; Elizabeth Fry Society; Rothesay High School Scholarship Fund. Interment will take place at a later date at Blackville, New Brunswick.
Wayne Merrill Crossman
The death of Wayne Merrill Crossman husband of Cheryl Graham Crossman of Nordin, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at the age of 50. Born in Moncton, NB, Wayne is the son of Robina (Robertson) Crossman and the late Merrill Crossman. Wayne was a heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic in Fort McMurray, an avid camper, he loved his two dogs Jessie James and Maverick and loved being with his friends. Besides his wife Cheryl and his mother Robina he is survived by one sister Stacey Cameron (Jeff) of Moncton, NB; one sister-in-law: Lisa Graham of Abbotsford, BC; two nieces: MacKayla and Taylor and one nephew Karsen. Visitation was held at Bell's Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Service was held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Monday, September 14, 2009 @ 2 PM with Rev. John Fraser officiating. Guitarist and soloist Francis Rousselle sang: "Into Your Hands", "Let It Be" and "Seven Spanish Angles". Eulogy was given by Tommy McEachern. Active Pallbearers were: Chris Casey, Larry Mahoney, D.J. MacTavish, Tommy McEachern, Boyd MacLean, Bruce Bell and Francis Hubbard. Honorary Pallbearers were: Timmy Bennett and Rocky Robinson. Burial will take place in the Miramichi Cemetery. In Wayne's memory a donation may be made to the NB Lung Association, Canadian Cancer Society or the SPCA. Moe Maurice Manuel
The death of Moe Maurice Manuel husband of Toby (Russell) Manuel of Strathadam, NB, occurred on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at his late residence at the age of 52. Born in Chatham, NB, he was the son of Lawrence and Edwina (Hebert) Manuel. Moe was the owner/operator of Chatham Tire Ltd. Besides his wife: Toby, Moe is survived by his children, Hillary and Ryan both at home; two sisters, Gilberte Maillet (Jean-Guy) of Moncton, NB, Dine Collette (Andre) of Bouctouche, NB; five brothers, Denis (Aurella) of Moncton, NB, Jacques of Baie Ste. Anne, NB, Alderice of Sainte Anne, NB; Willie (Laline), Jean-Marie (Michelle) all of Baie Ste. Anne, NB; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Bell's Funeral Home on Monday from 4 to 6 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service was held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Blair Whyte officiating. Organist/Soloist was Jacqueline Allain: Solos were: "Never Gone", "Go Rest High On The Mountain", "Keep Me In Your Heart For Awhile" and "I'm Going Home". Margaret Mary Gillespie
Mrs. Margaret Mary Gillespie, widow of Otto Gillespie of Renous passed away early Friday morning September 11, 2009, at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 85. Born in Pineville NB, she was the daughter of the late John & Margaret (Whalen) Buggie. She was a home maker and a member of St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, Renous NB. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by two grandsons, Tracy and Troy Harris, two great grandsons, Vincent and David Harris, one great grand- daughter, Desirae. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Otto in 1984, her son, Joseph, two daughters, Elaine and Lyvan, her grandson Todd, sisters, Janie, Lillian and Maude, brothers, Gordon, James, Frank, Lyman and John Buggie. Mrs. Margaret Mary Gillespie rested at Father Murdock Memorial Room, Renous, with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday September 14, 2009, at 11 a.m. from St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, Renous, with Monsignor Joseph Woods officiating. Organist was Blanche Donovan. Hymns were, entrance, "Here I Am Lord", Psalm, "Rest in God Alone", Offertory, "Hail Mary", Communion, "Hail Mary, Gentle Woman", Incensing, "Into Your Hands" and Recessional, "Like a Shepherd". Readings were by Dorothy Colepaugh and Bill Buggie. Burial will follow in the family plot of the church cemetery. Active Pallbearers were: Lyman Hallihan, Lynus Buggie, Hollis Buggie, Jamie Duffy, Rod Buggie and Mick Buggie.
