Elizabeth Alberta Proctor

Mrs. Elizabeth Alberta Proctor, of Berwick, NB passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on April 3, 2001
Born in Poodiac, NB on July 3, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Cecil G. and Ethel (Matthews) Mallery.
Elizabeth is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years Murray Proctor, her 2 daughters, Viola Purcell and her husband Ken of Oakfield, NS and Eileen McShane and Earl Hall of Parleeville, NS, 2 sons, Cecil and his wife Wendy of Fredericton, and Harris of Pearsonville, 3 sisters, Eileen McDonald of Sussex, Glenna Mallery of Moncton, and Shirley Goddard and her husband Reg of Penobsquis, 6 brothers, Willard Mallery and his wife Norma of Sussex Corner, Alvin Mallery and his wife Alice of Sussex Corner, Gerald Mallery and his wife Gladys of Newline Road, Raymond Mallery and his wife Ann of Poodiac, Reynold Mallery and wife Mona of Apohaqui, Donald Mallery and his wife Joan of Sussex Corner, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was predeceased by a sister Vivian, brothers James and Roy who died in infancy and a brother Frederick.
Elizabeth was an avid gardener and enjoyed quilting. We her family are truly thankful for the time we had with her. She will be dearly missed.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At Elizabeth’s request there will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be held at Trinity Cemetery on Saturday, April 7th, 2001 at 12:00 pm, with Rev. David Barrett officiating.
Donations made to the MS Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Diabetic Association or the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
Gordon Black
1935-2012
Gordon Hollis Black, 76, of Riverview passed away peacefully Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Moncton Hospital with his family at his side.
Born in Bridgedale, Albert County, he was a son of the late Harold and Muriel (Hollis) Black. In his early working years he served with the Royal Canadian Air Force and then taught school for 32 years, retiring from McNaughton High School. Gordon was active in a number of Associations and charities throughout the years and he was currently serving as president of the Petitcodiac Kiwanis Club. He was a member of the Coverdale United Church having served in various capacities.
Survived and missed by his beloved wife of fifty-eight years Clara (Colpitts); sons Conrad of New Zealand, Roger of Edmonton, Ross (Lise) of Winnipeg and Hugh (Heather) of Salisbury; seven grandchildren Eric Black, Krista MacNaughton, Stephanie Black, Sam Black, Melissa Black, Nicole Black and Erin Black; five great grandchildren; sisters Joan Emmerson (late Bob) of Toronto, Judy King (late Willard) of Riverview; brothers James (Sharon) of PE. Gregory (Beverly) of Fredericton and Dale (Wendy) of Moncton and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother John.
Family will receive relatives and friends at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) Wednesday, September 26, 6-9 p.m. and from where the service will be held Thursday, September 27 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dan Compton officiating, assisted by Rev. Keith Adams. Internment at Colpitts Community Cemetery.
If desired, donations to the Coverdale United Church, Colpitt's Community Cemetery or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
Michael Tingley
1976-2012
Michael Roger Tingley, 36, of Colpitt's Settlement, passed away Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Moncton, he was a son of Rodney and Gayle (Carter) Tingley. Michael was owner-operator of Tingley's Cycle Salvage. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his children.
He is survived and missed by his beloved wife Melissa (Missy) (Patten); his cherished children Kayla and Riley at home; parents Rodney and Gayle of Colpitt's Settlement; brothers Kevin (Terry) and Christopher (Amethyst) of Colpitt's Settlement and Steven of Toronto; maternal grandmother Dallice Carter of Colpitt's Settlement; father and mother-in-law Sandy and Claire Patten of Steeves Mountain; special nieces and nephews Taylor, Adrienne, Brody and Gemini. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins including his Uncle Roger. Michael is predeceased by sister Crystal Gayle (1980); paternal grandparents Everett and Marguerite Tingley and maternal grandfather Lawrence Carter.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Thursday, October 4, 6 - 9 p.m. and from where the funeral will be held in the chapel Friday, October 5 at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Woodworth officiating. Interment at The Glades Baptist Cemetery.
If desired, a Living Memorial for the children would be appreciated.
Edward A. (Jim) Adair
1922-2013
Edward Abraham Adair (Jim), 90, of the Jordan Lifecare Center and formerly Petitcodiac passed away Sunday evening February 3, 2013 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Petitcodiac, he was a son of the late Thomas and Edna (Wade) Adair. A retired employee of CNR, he ended his 45 year career as a train dispatcher in Moncton. A member of the Petitcodiac Baptist Church, Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and tending his vegetable garden.
Survived by his beloved wife of 66 years Evelyn (nee Geldart); his children Clayton (Susan) of Petitcodiac, Sharon Rice of Beaverbank N.S.; sisters Hannah Cain (late Stephen) of Petitcodiac, Martha Gautreau (late Lionel) of Vancouver, Dawnella Fraser (Harland) of Sussex; brothers Earl (Millie) of Lower Coverdale, Thomas (Brenda) of Gibson B.C., Gerald (Sandra) of Nauwigewauk; sister-in-law Ruth Adair of Spencer Home and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Allison and Vaughan; sisters-in-law Lelia Adair and Karen Adair and by son-in-law Jerry Rice.
Arrangements are in care of the Salisbury Funeral Home. Respecting Jimmie's wishes, services will be private for the family. Interment will be at a later date at Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac.
If desired, memorials to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or Friends of the Jordan Lifecare would be appreciated by the family.
Walter Babcock
1945-2016
With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Walter Mervin Babcock, 71, of Elgin at his residence on Friday, October 7, 2016.
Born in Petitcodiac, he was the eldest son of Bertha (Stiles) Babcock and the late Claude Babcock. In his early working years, Walter worked at home on the farm and later he worked for a time at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial home. He loved witnessing for his Lord and Saviour and he attended First Elgin Baptist Church, the Goshen Baptist Church, and Sunday School. He enjoyed doing needlepoint and embroidery, hooking rugs and reading. He especially loved riding his moped and being with his family and friends. Walter really appreciated his walks, and he was a well known figure on the Goshen Road often stopping to chat with his neighbours. He loved interacting with people at the Jordan LifeCare Centre Daycare and also attending the Elgin Senior Citizens Group.
Survived and sadly missed by his mother Bertha; brothers Robert (Linda), Petitcodiac and Winston (Bev), Steeves Mountain; nephew Stephen Babcock; nieces Susan Allain and family and Alicia Toft-Hansen and family, and very special Aunt Laura. Predeceased by his father Claude (1995) and his nephew Ryan Babcock (1991).
Resting at Armstrong's Funeral Chapel, 33 Russell Street (756-3361) visiting will be Sunday, October 9 from 2 to 4 pm and from where the funeral will be held in the chapel Monday, October 10 at 1 pm with Rev. James Hammond officiating. Interment at Goshen Baptist Cemetery.
If desired, memorials to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
Norval (Jack) Lounsbury
1936-2012
Norval (Jack) Lounsbury, 75, of Petitcodiac passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Dobson Corner, Jack was a son of the late Walter and Beatrice (Cole) Lounsbury. He was a former employee of the T. Eaton Company, Forano and retired as a custodian from the school board in 1989. Jack was a member of the Petitcodiac Seniors, Trail Blazers, Golf and Country Club and a past member-volunteer of the Saint John Ambulance. He enjoyed woodworking, bowling and time spent with family.
Jack is survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife of 55 years Mary (Lamb); children Gary (Kim) of Petitcodiac, Starr Perry (Dennis) of Havelock, Vicky McKnight (Jerry) of Glenvale, Amy Thorne (Robin) of Havelock and Shelley Alward-Warren (Troy) of Petitcodiac; 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; sisters Jessie Bleakney and Eleanor Wright both of Riverview and Donna Gillies (Roy) of Upper Coverdale; brothers Clinton (Edna), Stanley (Jean) and Elwyn (Bud) (Irene) all of Petitcodiac and George (Joan) of Sussex; mother in law Bea Brown of Petitcodiac and over 30 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Marilyn Gilmore, Edna Graham, Helen Dow and infant sister Jennie; infant brother Gary, infant twin brothers and son in law Roger Keith.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Saturday, February 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and from where the funeral will be held Sunday, February 12 at 2 pm with Rev. Keith Adams officiating. Reception to follow in the parlour. Interment at a later date at Fair Haven Cemetery.

Douglas Wilbur
1944-2016
Douglas Edward Wilbur, 72, of Moncton passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Alvin and Dorothy (Horsman) Wilbur. He is survived by his sister Gloria Atkinson of Moncton.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
