Dolores Horsman
1935-2016
Dolores Jane Horsman, 81, widow of Kenneth Horsman, of Five Points, Colpitts Settlement went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital.
Born in Prosser Brook, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Marie (Steeves) Beaman.
Dolores was the loving mother of Dr. Brian Horsman, Connie Morrison (Scott), and Larry Horsman (with whom she resided); devoted Grammy to Patrick Horsman, Katherine Brewster (Ivan), and Alex Horsman (Melissa); proud great Grammy of Juliette, Olivia and Charlotte. She is also survived by sisters Winona, Mariam and Sheila along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dolores is predeceased by two brothers Gordon and Gerald. She was a faithful member of the Five Points Baptist Church for many years.
The funeral will be held from the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Friday, December 23 at 4 pm with Rev. Bill Parks and Rev. Dean MacDonald officiating.

Jessica Alward
1979-2012
Jessica Patricia Alward, 33, of Fredericton, passed away at home on Friday, August 3, 2012.
She was a graduate from Petitcodiac Regional School and received her B.A. at St. Thomas University.
Jessica is survived and sadly missed by her mother Bernice (Kierstead) Alward of New Canaan; brother Jason Alward (Sherry), niece Emma and nephew Charlie of Mt. Uniacke, NS; sister Jennifer Alward (Ian Brooks) and nephew Auston of Portage Vale and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is predeceased by her father Charles.
Arrangements are in care of Salisbury Funeral Home & Crematorium, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) where a private family service will be held Wednesday, August 8.

Lucy Anna Coy
Mrs. Lucy Anna Coy, of Scenic View Special Care Home, Foxhill, NB, passed away at her residence on May 1, 2002. Lucy was born in Marrtown, NB on May 20, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Weldon Thomas and Margaret Matilda (Fowler) Bunnell.
She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Donald Coy who passed away in 1960.
She is survived by her nieces, Iva Morrell of Saint John, Ruth Dotten of Saskatoon, Barbara Davis of Saskatchewan and her nephew, Rev. Lawrence Bunnell and his wife Mary of Stewiack, NS and Gary Bunnell of Chamber Settlement .
Lucy was predeceased by her brother Roy who passed away in 1988.
Lucy was a retired teacher and former organist at Keirstead Mountain United Baptist Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Friday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held from Keirstead Mountain United Baptist Church on Saturday, May 4, 2002 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Allison MacLean officiating. Interment at Keirstead Mountain Cemetery.
Vaughan Geldart
1913-2012
Vaughan James Geldart, 98, of the Jordan Life Care Center and formerly of Lewis Mountain, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012.
Born in Lewis Mountain, he was a son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Morton) Geldart. Vaughan was a farmer and also owned and operated the North River Farm Supply.
He is survived by his daughters Marion Barrieau (George) of Miramichi and Margaret (Peggy) LeBlanc (Gary) of Moncton; sons Alden (Margaret) of Lewis Mountain, James (Krys) of Clarksville, Tennessee, Joseph of Edmonton, AB and Robert (Pam) of Kitchener, ON; sister Allie Daley of Amherst, NS; twenty-one grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Jessie (Duncan); sons John and Alan; daughters Ruth Amyot and Dorothy Walker; brother Austin; sisters Stella, Pearl, Greta and Ellen and grandsons Kevin Geldart and Shawn LeBlanc.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Monday, September 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will held at the Lewis Mountain United Baptist Church Tuesday, September 25 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Vincent Burgess officiating. Interment to follow at First North Baptist Cemetery.

A. Shirley Douthwright
1931-2012
A. Shirley Douthwright, 81, of the Jordan Lifecare Center and formerly Colpitts Settlement passed away Sunday November 18, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late William and Agnes (Milton) Addie. She retired as a caregiver with Moncton Community Residences. Shirley attended the former Saint Peter's Anglican Church in River Glade, was a Life Member of the former Colpitts Settlement Women's Institute and was a Past President of the Albert County Women's P.C. Association and a member of the Provincial P.C. Association. She enjoyed her family especially time spent with her grandchildren.
Survived and sadly missed by her children Marilyn Sproul (Jim) of Ethel On., Kathy Steeves (Armour), Donald (Susan), James (Denise) of Colpitts Settlement, Terry (Sharon) of Springhill N.S., Joan Trites (Keith) of Steeves Mountain, her cherished grandchildren Mikaleen, Chrystina, Adam, Nicholas, Wesley, Sarah, Emily, Megan, Travis, Tyler, Katelyn, Matthew, and great grandchildren Jordan, Morgan, Leland, Chace and Eric. Survived also by brothers and sisters including Donna Cyr and Alice Kennedy, the father of their children Russell Douthwright and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a grandson Brett.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800), Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and from where the funeral will be Wednesday November 21 in the chapel at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rodney Blyth officiating. Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery, Salisbury.
If desired memorials to the Jordan Lifecare Center, Palliative Care Room or any charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
Malcolm Rudderham
1922-2013
Malcolm William Rudderham, 90, of Salisbury passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Westmount, Cape Breton, he was a son of the late Hadley and Margaret (MacDonald) Rudderham. Malcolm was a retired shipper with Dominion Coal Company. He attended the Five Points Baptist Church in Colpitts Settlement and was a former member and deacon of Calvary Baptist Church in North Sydney. He was a good friend to many people. He is survived by his wife Agnes (Williams); step-daughters Valerie Carty (Frank), Yvonne Young (Craig), Cindy Shelly (Tom) and Kim Elder (Iain); step-sons Edmund (Ned) MacDonald (Debbie) and Michael MacDonald (Jillian); sister Mildred Rudderham of Westmount, NS and brother Carl Rudderham of Edwardsville, NS; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Jetta (Lewis); three sisters Alma Rudderham, Margaret McFarlane and Bell Gray and brother Thomas (Brick) Rudderham.
Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800). There will be no visitation or service by request. If desired, donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Alfonso Mitchell
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Alfonso “Al” Mitchell beloved husband of the late Josephine (McCaffrey) who was born in Saint John, NB, which occurred on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa. Al was born on April 16, 1937 in Doncaster, England he was a loved son of the late Alfonso and Ethel Mitchell.
He is survived by brother in law: Johnny St. George of England; several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents he was predeceased by sister: Margaret St. George.
Al came to Canada in 1956 where he became a proud Canadian and met his true love, Jo. They were married soon after, a marriage that was full of great love and respect for each other until Jo passed away in 2005.
Al was a great fan of the Manchester United soccer team and watched every game he could. He was employed with Pilkington Glass where he worked his way up the ladder. After retirement He worked part time as a school bus driver in the Seagrave, Ontario area. Al made many friends while working there, that have remained close through the years.
Many thanks to all his friends and neighbours for all the kindness shown to him.
Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB (634–1965) with visiting on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 11 am to 12 Noon. A Funeral service will be celebrated from Fitzpatrick Funeral Home Chapel at 12 Noon. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
