Stanley Allen Marks
May 25, 2001

MR. STANLEY ALLEN MARKS, of Penobsquis, N.B. passed away at Sussex Health Centre on May 25, 2001
Born in Portagevale, N.B. on October 9, 1929, he was the son of the late Alvin and Nettie (Graves) Marks.
Stanley is survived by his beloved wife Edith June (Norden) Marks 2 sons, Peirce A. and Alvin J. both at home 2 brothers, Russell and his wife Treva of Sussex Corner and Myles and his wife Helen of Hungary several nieces and nephews
Stanley was predeceased by his 2 sisters, Pearl Hodgin and Elma Hall, and by a brother, Allison.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Saturday 7-9, Sunday 2-4, 7-9 at Wallace Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Monday, May 28, 2001 at 10:00 am, with Pastor Wayne Johnson officiating. Interment at Pioneer Cemetery
Donations made to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation or the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.

Juliette Savoie
1952-2019

It is with great sadness that the family of Juliette Savoie announces her passing on May 18, 2019 at Tracadie Hospital. Born on June 12, 1952 in Neguac, she was the daughter of the late Zephirin Savoie and the late Alma Comeau.
Juliette also resided in Saint John for many years where she worked for Barnes & Hopkins, New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board and Work Safe New Brunswick.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Thérèse Moore (Ronald), Eunice Savoie, Hélène Savoie (late Zephirin), Léo Paul (Diane), Yvette Karelas (Jimmy), Anne-Marie Allain (Roger), Gaston (Thérèse), Amanda Muise (Lévis), Jacques (Carmella); a sister-in-law, Claire LeBlanc, and many nieces, nephews and their families whom she loved very much and cousins.
She now rests with her father and mother, a sister-in-law, Louise Robichaud Savoie, and a brother-in-law, Zéphirin Savoie.
According to her last wish there will be no visitation. The funeral will be held at St. Bernard's Church, Neguac, on Wednesday, May 22, at 2 pm.
In memory of Mrs Savoie donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Florence MacDonald
1919-2013

Florence Agnes MacDonald, 93, of Salisbury, passed away at the Moncton Hospital, Saturday, March 2, 2013.
Born in Intervale, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Alberta (Goddard) O'Blenis. Florence was a former housekeeper for various motels. She was a member of the former Boundary Creek Baptist Church and former Boundary Creek W.I. She attended the Salisbury Pentecostal Church.
She is survived and missed by her children Douglas Jones (Deborah) of Boundary Creek and Mildred Simpson of Colpitts Settlement; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Ethel McNutt (Harry) of Moncton, Cora MacDougall of Jemseg, Marjorie McCarthy of Moncton and Ida Harper (Gordon) of Anagance and brothers George O'Blenis (Ruth) of Boundary Creek and Hubert O'Blenis (Janette) of Toronto. Florence is predeceased by husbands Harold Jones and James MacDonald; daughters June MacCallum and Edith Gautreau; granddaughter Dawn Elizabeth Sherwood; brother Raymond O'Blenis and son-in-law Douglas Simpson.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visitation will be Monday, March 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. and from where the funeral will be held in the chapel Tuesday, March 5 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jarvis Lepper officiating.
If desired, donations to the War Amps or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.

Joan Amelia Hetherington

Mrs. Joan Amelia Hetherington of 113 Nelson Street, Sussex, NB passed away at Sussex Health Centre on June 14, 2003 at the age of 82. Born in London, England on May 20, 1921, Joan was the daughter of the late Stanton Arthur and Elizabeth Alice (Bennett) Lampard.
Joan is survived by Horace, her husband of 57 years. Her children; Betty Vautour and her husband Frank of Edmonton Alberta, her son Gary and his wife Faye of Riverview, NB, Sheila Hetherington of Vancouver, BC, Marilyn Settle and her husband Wade of Sackville, NB, her brother Stan of England, her 4 grandchildren, Rob, Matt, Jennifer, and Brad, 3 Great Grandchildren, Spencer, Sam, Sarah, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Joan was predeceased by 2 brothers; Ron and Jack and her sister Alice.
She was a member of the Army Territorial Service in the British Army during WWII. She was a member of Sussex United Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMS, Fidelity Class and sang in their choir for over 45 years. She was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Aux. and the War Brides Assoc.
Arrangements are entrusted to care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Monday 2-4, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Sussex United Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 2:00 pm.
The Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20 will hold a tribute on Monday evening at 6:45 pm.
A private family interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.

Jim Stone

Jim Stone of Picadilly, NB passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on June 14, 2003 at the age of 36. Born in Corner Brook, NFLD on July 29, 1966, he was the son of Benjamin and June (Stuckless) Stone of Corner Brook. Besides his parents, Jim is survived by his wife and best friend Liz, 4 brothers; Ben and his wife Jennifer of Corner Brook, Roy and his wife Chris of Kentville, NS, Doug and his wife Lorraine of Corner Brook, Bill and his wife Vonnie of Toronto, 6 sisters; Mary Coates and her husband Len of Bonnieville, Alberta, June Woods and her husband Bob of Ontario, Linda Butt and her husband Les of Corner Brook, Dorothy Batt and her husband Byron of Fort McMurray, Terry Stone of Sussex, Shirley Strickland and her husband Don of NFLD, Gail and her husband Al of Charlottetown, his sister-in-law, Colleen McQuinn and her husband Dave of Picadilly, 2 brothers- in- law Murray Doucette and his wife Tammy of Kingston, Ont, Bob Doucette and his fiancée Stephanie Hovey of Saint John, his father-in-law, Bert Doucette of Corner Brook, his mother-in-law, Billie Ross and her husband Donnie of Norton, Jim’s two Angels Ocean-Leigh, and Adena of Sussex, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are in care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At Jim’s request there will be no visitation. A casual “Tribute of Remembrance” will be held at Wallace Funeral Home on Friday, June 20, 2003 at 7:00 pm.
As an expression of sympathy donations made to the “Living Memorial” would be appreciated by the family.

Robert Templeton
1925-2016

Robert Donald Templeton, 91, of Havelock passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at The Moncton Hospital.
Born in Cambuslang, Scotland, he was a son of the late James B. and Elizabeth (Gibson) Templeton. In his first year, his family immigrated to Canada settling in Havelock on a farm. He graduated from the Havelock Superior School and Moncton Community College, Electronics program. The early death of his father saw Robert remain on the family farm to help run it and then he established Templeton's T.V. Sales and Service which he operated until retirement. Robert attended Havelock Baptist Church, was a 50 year member of the Havelock Lions Club, a former volunteer with the Havelock Fire Department and enjoyed salmon fishing on the Miramichi and hunting.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 55 years Gertrude (Beckett), his daughter Joan of Vancouver, son Kenneth of Havelock, grandson Duncan of Vancouver. Survived also by sisters, Elizabeth Keith (late Charles) of Havelock, Margaret Wood (late Hal) of Fredericton, Mary Coates (late Eldon) of Shediac Cape, a brother James (Myrna) of Sussex Corner and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers David and John.
Resting at the Havelock Funeral Parlour, 19 Cross Street (534-2600) with visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held Thursday, September 22 at 2 p.m. from the Havelock Baptist Church with Rev. Dean MacDonald officiating assisted by Rev. Jarvis Lepper. Interment at Greenhill Cemetery, Havelock.
If desired, memorials to the Havelock Baptist Church Building Fund or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.

Evelyn MacDonald
1924-2013

Evelyn May MacDonald, 88, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Barnsville, she was a daughter of the late Earnest and Gertrude (Steele) MacDonald.
She is survived by three daughters Linda Gallant Mathias (Bob) of Saint John, Deborah Doucet (Rick) of Moncton and Heather Jonah (Tom) of Moncton; sister Doris Alward (Keith) of Sussex; special friend Edgar Belliveau of Moncton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brothers Bill, Art, Lloyd and Ken, and sisters Edith and Iris.
There will be no funeral or visitation by request.
Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home & Crematorium (372-4800).
If desired, donations to the S.P.C.A. or Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
