Inez Allen
1931-2013
Inez Dorothy Allen, 81, of Salisbury passed away peacefully with family by her side at The Santuari Hospice in the Peter Lougheed Centre, Calgary Alberta on March 9, 2013.
Born in North Enmore, Prince Edward Island, May 19, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Stella (Durant) Harvey.
Inez enjoyed life by always being involved and helping others, and was a long time member of Salisbury St. John's Anglican Church, church choir, ACW, and an active member of the Salisbury Lioness Club. Inez had many talents, one of which was baking for the church sales. An avid quilter and knitter, Inez always took great pride with everything she did. Her gentle ways and kind smile will always be remembered.
Inez leaves behind her loving daughter Wendy (Roy) French of Calgary, AB; sons Wayne (Bonita) Siddall of Kelowna, BC, Dale (Darlene) Siddall of Ellersie, PE; granddaughters Tara and Katelyn; grandsons Shaun, Kevin, Christopher and Brian; great granddaughters Madisyn, Payton, Chelsey and great grandsons Riley and Kaedan. Also survived by siblings Leonard (Myrtle) Harvey of Borden-Carlton, Daisy (Robert) Eisenbrenner of ON, Leon Harvey of Halifax, NS; sister-in-law Debbie Harvey of Bridgewater, NS and by all her loving nieces and nephews and large extended family. Predeceased by her first husband Eric Siddall; second husband of many years Cecil (Red) Allen; step-mother Celetus Harvey; sisters Ruby Noye, Myrtle Noye; brother Leslie Harvey and grandsons Phillip French and Brent Siddall.
She will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts by all family and life long friends Connie, Marion, Dot and Doreen.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800), visiting will be Thursday, March 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with the funeral held at St. John's Anglican Church, Fredericton Road, Salisbury on Friday, March 15 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Chris Hayes officiating. Reception to follow. Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. John's Anglican Church, Salisbury would be appreciated by the family.
Florence Mabel Lynch
Mrs. Florence Mabel Lynch, of 451 Poodiac Road Poodiac, New Brunswick passed away at Sussex Health Centre on May 24, 2003 at the age of 86. Born in Waterford, New Brunswick on April 21, 1916, Florence was the daughter of the late S. Thompson and M. Jeanetta (Walker) Anderson. She is survived by her beloved husband George, her daughter Georgie Greer of Sussex, her son Wallace and his wife Lillian of Bains Corner, two sisters Lauretta Campbell of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Emma Anderson of Sussex, 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Anderson of Norton and Ruby Anderson of Saint John, 6 grandchildren; Chris, Tony, Sandra-Lea, Corey, Shawn, Crystal, 5 great grandchildren; Philip, Kelsey-Lynn, Jessy, Sydney and Zachary as well as several nieces and nephews.
Florence is predeceased by four Sisters; Kathleen, Pauline, Lillian and Marion and three brothers, Raymond, Jarvis and Derald Anderson.
In 1830, Samuel C. Walker, her maternal great grandfather was an Irish immigrant to Walker Settlement and was the person for whom the community was named. Her paternal great grandfather, Samuel Thompson Anderson arrived in 1860 and stayed for a while with his brother-in-law Samuel C. Walker before settling in Anderson Settlement, east of Walton’s Lake. Her paternal grandfather, William Anderson, eventually moved back to Walker Settlement in the 1880’s and lived up on the Glebe Hill behind the present Anderson homestead.
Florence loved her church and her community. After her marriage to George they lived in Ontario for a short time before George went overseas in WWII. Florence and their daughter Georgie stayed in Saint John. Eventually, Florence opened and operated Lynch’s Grocery store in East Saint John for many years before retiring to Poodiac, where they had a summer camp since the late ‘50’s.
Florence was active with George in many of the activities of the Orange Lodge, though she never became a member of the LOBA. She especially enjoyed meeting people and entertaining in their home. She enjoyed to cook whether for a few or for many. Her door was always open to family and friends. Florence was a member of Waterford United Church and a former member of the Sussex and Valley CB Radio and Sussex Snow-mobile Clubs.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Monday 2-4, 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held from St. John’s United Church, Sussex Corner, Tuesday May 27th at 1:00PM. with the interment to follow in Trinity Cemetery.
Bernice Hull (Crossman)
1943-2013
Bernice Julia Hull, 70, of Wheaton Settlement passed away at home, Wednesday, March 13, 2013.
Born in Upper Ridge she was the daughter of Evelyn Colpitts and the late Gurney Crossman. Bernice was a homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, flowers, knitting and doing crafts.
She is survived and missed by her mother Evelyn Colpitts (Gordon) of Salisbury; daughters Jennie Ward of Moncton, Debbie McLaine (Walter) of Milton, PE, and Tracy Quinn-DesRoches (Dave Cormier) of Lakeville; grandchildren Blaine Ward, Melissa Ward, Benjamin McLaine, Tara McLaine, Jamie Harding, James Quinn, and Robert DesRoches; brothers Charles Crossman (Nadine) and Richard Crossman (Sharon) both of Wheaton Settlement; special friend Francis Lirette (Frank); favourite cousin David Steeves of Salisbury and several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and from where the funeral will be held in the chapel Sunday, March 17 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Lloyd O'Blenes officiating.

Cathleen (Cay) Elsie Thompson
Friends and relatives are saddened to hear of the death of Cathleen (Cay) Elsie Thompson, of the Kiwanis Nursing Home and formerly of Penobsquis.
Cay passed away at Kiwanis Nursing Home on May 13, 2003 at the age of 82. Born in Chipman NB on September 23, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Arthur W. and Sara Anita (Weaver) Brown and the beloved wife of the late Joseph Thompson who passed away in 1989.
Cay is survived by 3 sons, Clive of Kingston, Nicholas and his wife Nancy and Tony and his wife Linda all of Penobsquis. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren; Joe, Stephen, Rick, Nicole and her husband Troy, Troy and his wife Dawn, Jason and his wife Kristina and Cary, 6 great grandchildren: Michael, Jessica, Nicholas, Kristen, Kaitlin and Griffin as well as several nieces and nephews
Cay was predeceased by 3 brothers, Lester, Robert and Vaughan Brown, a sister, Alta Mae Smith and a granddaughter Lisa.
Cay was employed at the Kings County Memorial Hospital for 20 years and at the Sussex Health Centre and Kiwanis Nursing Home for 4 years before retiring in 1984 due to ill health. She was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church, Sussex, NB.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Thursday 2-4, 7-9pm. The Funeral Service is from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Friday, May 16, 2003 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Cardwell Cemetery.
Marion Robinson
1931-2016
Marion Elsie Robinson, 85, of Petitcodiac passed away peacefully Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Petitcodiac, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Vera (Geldart) Crandall. Marion was a retired banker, a member of the St. James United Church and the UCW. She was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Petitcodiac for 21 years and a graduate of the Petitcodiac Regional High School. She loved spending time with her family and in later years with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived and sadly missed by her beloved husband of 63 years Irvin; children Beatrice Meyer (Alfy), Ann Bourque (late Robert), Mary Jean McCannell (Bruce), Cynthia Robinson (Carl Morris) and Gail Tully (Mark); daughter-in-law Libby; brother William (Billy) (Norma) Crandall; brother-in-law Roy Hayward; sister-in-law Jean McGillivray; eighteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son David; brother Sydney and sister Edith Devereaux (late Dev); brothers-in-law Stewart Robinson and Scott McGillivray and sister-in-law Myrtle Hayward.
Resting at Armstrong's Funeral Chapel, 33 Russell Street (756-3361) with visiting Tuesday, December 6 from 3 to 6 pm. The funeral will be held at St. James United Church Wednesday, December 7 at 1 pm with Rev. Stephen Brown officiating. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery.

Kimberly Riley
1966-2013
Kimberly (Kim) Ann Riley, 46, of Dieppe passed away at her residence Friday, March 15, 2013.
Born in New Hampshire and raised in Salisbury, she was the daughter of Rupert and Linda (Simpkin) Parsons and foster daughter of Gary and Sheila Taylor. Kim worked for A&W and she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren.
Kim is survived and sadly missed by her beloved husband of 24 years Tim; children Kristopher (Samantha) and Kayla Riley (Thomas) both of Colpitts Settlement and T.J. (Caitlin) of Kinnear Settlement; grandchildren Bryauna, Kloey, Jackson and Kyla; sister Karen, brother Bill and several foster siblings. Also survived by her father-in-law Clarence Riley (Popa) and sister-in-law Stephanie Gravell.
There will be a Celebration of Kim's Life at Salisbury Funeral Home & Crematorium, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) Tuesday, March 19 at 11 a.m.

Mikel Raymond Stuart
Mikel Raymond Stuart, infant son of Kenneth Stuart and Trish Comeau, passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on May 25, 2003.
Mikel is survived by parents, his brother, Bryson, his paternal grandparents, Raymond & Sharlene (Pearson) Stuart of Hamilton, Ontario, his maternal grandparents, Roberta Mason of Sussex and Lucien Comeau of Quispamsis, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A private family service will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations made to the Living Memorial would be appreciated by the family.
Alvin Beck
1927-2013
Alvin Leonard Beck, 85, of Salisbury passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Harcourt, he was a son of the late Wesley and Blanche (Spencer) Beck. Alvin retired from Procor Railway in Ontario with thirty-two years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid gardener.
Alvin is survived and missed by his beloved wife of sixty-two years Jane (Wylie); daughters Twila Jones (Cathy) of Edmonton, AB, Bernadet Beck (Wayne) of Oromocto and Marlene Christie of Wingham, ON; son Nicholas (France) of Montreal; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; sisters Margaret Lucas of Burlington, ON and Evangeline Perrin of Saint John and brother Everett of Harcourt and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Ray, Lockhart, Pearl, George, Bob and Tom; sisters Ida and Marjorie and son-in-law Brian Hovey.
The funeral will be held at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Chris Hayes officiating. Interment at Fair Haven Cemetery.
