BARTON, BURNS HAROLD (RICKY) - Suddenly at Dartmouth, on Friday, November 11th, 2005 BURNS HAROLD BARTON (Ricky) by accident at the age of 48 years; Survived by his daughter, Carrie Ann (Shaun) of Moncton, by granddaughter Chloe, by father Eldon Barton of Minto; by brother Garnet and half brothers Craig (Jeanette), Cliff, Bret (Tammy), Glen (Jan) and Ross Barton all of Ontario; by sisters Bonnie (Barry) McNeil of Chipman and Judy Nichol of Minto and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Helen Britton and by sister Nina. Resting at Chipman Funeral Home until Tuesday when funeral service will be held from the Second Chipman United Baptist Church, Chipman, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. John Dunnett officiating. Interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery. The family received visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 7-9 p.m.

DICKIE, DAVID CRUICKSHANK - At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, on Sunday, February 20th, 2005 DAVID CRUICKSHANK DICKIE died peacefully at the age of 78 years; Survived by wife Helena (Knox) Dickie of Upper Salmon Creek; by sons Sheldon (Judy) of Trenton, N.S., Allan (Wendy) of Quispamsis and Dwight (Cindy) of Crossfield, Alberta; by daughter Shawnna and fiance Ray of Saint John; by brother Hugh of Hamilton, Ontario; and by grandchildren Mark, Denise, Sean, Joy, Ryan, Noel and Elizabeth. He was born in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, the son of the late Thomas and Rachel (Graham) Dickie. He was also predeceased by four sisters and two brothers. David was self employed most of his working days with Dickie’s Grocery and his logging contracting business.Resting at Chipman Funeral Home (339-6612) until Wednesday when funeral services will be held from the Salmon Creek United Baptist Church, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Harry Branscombe officiating. Spring interment in the Red Bank Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart & Stroke, Alzheimers or the Salmon Creek United Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.

He is survived by his finance’ Crystal Leavitt and his son Tyler Dickinson of Sussex; by his parents Richard and Sharon Dickinson and paternal grandparents Stanley and Blanche Dickinson all of Chipman; by his maternal grandfather Hazen Moss of Fredericton.Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Sunday, January 9th, 2005 when funeral service will be held from the Second Chipman United Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. John Dunnett officiating. Spring interment in the Cumberland Bay Community Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday. At the Mill Cove Nursing Home on January 20th, 2008 WALTER GERALD DOHERTY passed away at 91 years of age. Born in Chipman, son of the late Gerald and Rosamond (Barton) Doherty, he is survived by his wife Mona (Green) Doherty of Chipman; by daughters Janet Kelly (Randy Flynn) of Fredericton and Crystal Doherty (Martin Fraser) of Chipman; by son-in-law, George Anderson of Saint John; by grandsons, Gordon (Linda) Anderson, Bradley and Travis Kelly; by great-grandsons, Jared and Kyle Anderson and Liam Kelly. As the last surviving member of his immediate family, he was also predecaesed by daughters Valerie Doherty and Georgina Anderson, and by sisters Clara West and Gladys West.
Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Friday when funeral services will be held from Saint Augustine’s Anglican Church, Chipman, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Phillip Pain and Rev. John Cathcart officiating. Spring interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. There will be a Legion Service at 6:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mill Cove Nursing Home would be appreciated.

At the Pallative Care Unit of the Queens North Health Centre, on September 25th, 2007 ROGER DOLLARD, 65 years of age; Survived by his wife Carlotta (Richard) Dollard of Chipman; by brother Alvin Dollard of Chipman; by sisters Viola (Paul) DeBouver of Douglas Harbour, Jeannie (Gerry) Clark of Sussex, Rose Doak of McGivney and Ida (Dave) Martin of Newcastle; by sister-in-law Leona Dollard of Moncton, and by nieces and nephews. Roger was predeceased by parents Ola and Vitaline (Legere) Dollard; by brother Andrew Dollard and by brother-in-law Freeman Doak.
Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Friday when funeral Mass will be held from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Chipman, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Peter Stephen officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home both Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of doner’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

At the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital, Tuesday, August 17th, 2010, GEORGE HENRY NORTHRUP passed away at the age of 93 years. George is survived by his three daughters, Mildred (Fred) Allen of Penniac, Gloria Wood of Minto, Debbie (Ernest) Richard of Minto; by his five sons, Hubert (Georglina) of Belleville, Ont, Otty (Eileen) of Chipman, Dawson (Arlene) of Saint John, Mancel (Donna) of Chipman and Dale (Joanne) of Chipman; by his sister Ada Sherman of Lantz NS; and his brother Wayne (Gloria) of Gaspereau Forks; by many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his wife Mary Hickey in 1999, also his parents and 2 sons, Emery and Vernon.
Resting at Chipman Funeral Home until Friday, August 20th, 2010. By request, the service will be private from the Chipman Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. David Egers officiating. Visitation Thursday from 7-9 p.m., for family and close friends. Internment will follow at the Second Chipman United Baptist Cemetery following the service. A reception will be at the Second Chipman United Baptist Church for everyone. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
O’Neil, M. C. Olga – Gaspereau Forks, NB

During her final hours of life, surrounded by her loving family, Olga Martha Catherine O’Neil 79, of Gaspereau Forks, NB was called home. Olga was born in Pugwash, NS, daughter of the late Terrance and Stella (Williams) Mountan. She is survived by her daughter Valerie (Murray) Fearn, son Rodney Murray (Janene). Grandchildren Jessica Murray Sas (Henk), Josie Fearn, Jimmy Palmer, Melissa Murray(Andrew Corey) Great grandchildren Kandace Cormier, Ashton Corey. Predeceased by her husbands Blaney Murray and Harold O’Neil, and very special friend Roland “Butch” Greene.
A celebration of Olga’s life will be held at the Chipman Funeral Home Chapel (339-6612) on December 7th, 2013 at 12:00 pm with Father Paul as Celebrant. Family will receive comfort at the Chipman Funeral Home on Friday, December 6th, 2013 from 2-4 pm & 6:30 – 8 pm. Interment will take place at a later date. As Olga had a huge love for animals all monetary donations are asked to be sent to a local SPCA.
