At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Friday, December 21st, 2012 WILLIAM (Bill) ALFRED OSBORNE of Cumberland Bay, NB passed away peacefully. Born in Welland, Ontario, son of the late Alfred and Ellen (Oxford) Osborne. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Janina (Kumpins) of 57 years; their children, Kim (Gord) Bizzell and William Osborne; sisters, Mary Stewart, Marjorie Grice, Ellen (Morris) Wauk, Ann (Paul) Kneshaw and Donna (Jack) Reynolds; grandchildren, Lisa, Heather and Bryan Bizzell; great grandchildren, Ashley Osborne and Tyler Bizzell; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his step-father Elmer, sisters, Lois Sakowski and Pat Fisher.
There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at a later date in the spring. Memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Chipman Funeral Home and Cremation Centre.

PANGBURN, HAVILAH VIVIAN – At the Oromocto Hospital on Sunday May 12th, 2007 HAVILAH VIVIAN PANGBURN, widow of Beecher E. Pangburn, 95 years of age.Survived by son, Ronald Pangburn (Sharon) of Saint John; by grandchildren, Wade (Audrey) Pangburn of Cumberland Bay, Ronald Pangburn, of Saint John and Michelle Hatfield (Jeff), of Bellisle; and by twin great-granddaughters. Predeceased by first husband, John O’Dell, by parents, Luke and Ambroise Barton, by siblings Muriel Rollins, Florence Lyons, Greta Armstrong, Inez Barton and James Barton.Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Wednesday, May 16, 2007, when funeral services will be held from the Cumberland Bay Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mitchell Foley officiating. Interment in the Lower Range Baptist Cemetery.The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart Fund or charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

BOYD, MEREA – Our hearts are broken with the passing of a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister, Merea Boyd of Chipman. Merea died at the hospital in London, Ontario February 12, 2007. Born in Harcourt, NB on May 20, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Perley and Stella Wry. Merea is survived by sons, Paul (Karen), Terry, Lennie (Marilyn), Martin (Jackie) and daughter Judy Chase (bobby), sisters, Violet Austin (Calvin), Catherine Chase and 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Merea was predeceased by husband, Russell Boyd, grandson, Jamie Boyd, sisters, Bunny Petley and Maud Edmanson, brother, Clarence Wry and nieces Margaret Young and Linda Adams. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Saturday, February 17 when the funeral will be held at the Chipman United Church at 2 p.m. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9.

Carl Dean Pelton passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17th, 2013 at the White Rapids Manor, Fredericton Junction, NB. Carl is the last surviving member of his immediate family and was the son of the late Carl and Jesse (Keyes) Pelton. Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Barbara (Urqhart) Pelton and daughter, Darlene (Ken) Cogswell. Interment will take place at a later date in Moncton.

Bishop Nursing Home, Minto, on Wednesday, January 21st, 2009 CONRAD GERALD PHINNEY passed at the age of 74 years, son of the late Louis and Esther (Esterbrooks) Phinney; Predeceased by his wife, Idella (Bishop) Phinney in 2000. Survived by daughters Pam Cook of Barrie, Ontario and by Judy Reddon (Todd) of Otterville, Ontario; by grandchildren, Devin and Meaghan Cook; by great-grandson Jacob Cook.
No visitation at Midge’s request. Spring interment in Sackville, New Brunswick, his place of birth. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the Heart, Cancer or Diabetic Associations would be appreciated by the family.
PINCOCK, “Jimmy” Duncan James

The death of DUNCAN “Jimmy” JAMES PINCOCK, husband of the late Ethel (Kennedy) Pincock occurred on March 6th, 2012 at the Mill Cove Nursing Home, Mill Cove. Born in Red Bank, Queens Co., on August 25th, 1923 son of the late Duncan (Cecelia Brown) Pincock. Jimmy is survived by his good friends, Brenda Beers of Cumberland Bay and Stephanie Beers of Moncton, also many friends. In addition to his wife and parents, Jimmy was predeceased by his sister, Netta Barton. Resting at Chipman Funeral Home with visitation on Friday, March 9th, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral services will be held from the Chipman Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 10th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jane Johnson officiating. Reception will follow at the Chipman Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Interment will be made in the Young’s Cove United Church Cemetery On Saturday, May 26th, 2012 at 12:30 pm.

At home, JAMIE TODD POLLOCK passed on, at 32 years of age. Survived by his parents, Michael & Rhonda (Smith) Pollock, his maternal grandparents Newton and Bernice (Bishop) Smith, his paternal grandparents Clifford and Edna (Murray) Pollock, his brothers Ryan and Andrew Pollock, and nephew Kain Pollock, all of Chipman.
The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Friday. Funeral services will be held from Christian Life Center, Chipman, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday June 6th, 2009 with Rev. Dennis Sisco officiating. Internment in the Red Bank United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Christian Life Center, or charity of donor’s choice, would be appreciated by the family.
POTTIER, Carolyn J. M. – Upper Hampstead, NB

POTTIER, CAROLYN – Carolyn Jean Marie (nee Smith) Pottier of 245 Upper Hampstead Road died at the Oromocto Public Hospital on May 25, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Carolyn was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick on February 15, 1948. She was the daughter of the late William Smith and Marie (nee Savage) Smith. She is survived by her husband, Roy; her two children, Angela and Adam; her granddaughter, Evangeline; her mother, Marie Smith; five brothers, Douglas (Donna), Robert (Sheryl), Brian (Joan), Patrick (Giselle) and Keith (Diane); one sister, Sharon (Andrew) Forrest; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. After graduating from Fredericton High School in 1967, Carolyn worked as a secretary at the University of New Brunswick where she met her future husband. Carolyn and Roy lived in France for two years, in Montreal for one year, and in Kingston, Ontario for 30 years where Carolyn worked for the Ontario Provincial Government, Department of Community and Social Services as Coordinator of Clerical Services. During their stay in Kingston, they had the opportunity to travel to many different countries, where they met and made many lifetime friends. Upon their retirement, they moved to New Brunswick in order to enjoy life on the St. John River near Gagetown, where they again made many new friends and remained close to her relatives in Fredericton. Carolyn loved life and cherished her friends and relatives, of which she had many. She took great pleasure in hosting numerous dinner parties for family and friends. She also enjoyed feeding the birds in her backyard, and watching the wildlife that would grace their property on the Upper Hampstead Road. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Carolyn faced her battle with cancer with grace and dignity.
There will be an informal wake at home (245 Upper Hampstead Road, Upper Hampstead, NB) from 1 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm on Tuesday, May 28. A funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Church, 603 Union Street, Fredericton, at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 29 and will be immediately followed by interment of the ashes in the Hermitage Cemetery, 499 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, NB. No flowers by request.
