PRICE, Spencer C. – Fredericton, NB

Spencer Price passed away on May 26, 2013, at the age of 95, at the Veterans Health Unit in Fredericton, New Brunswick. He was a life long resident of Doaktown, NB. He was the only child of the late Cleveland and Mildred (Russell) Price of Doaktown. Spencer was predeceased by his wife, Betty Ruth Dibb in 1979 and his son Terry in 2011. He is survived by his daughters: Gayle (Eric) White of New Maryland, NB and Janice (Brent) Taylor of Strafford, PEI, and daughter-in-law Sally Price of Fort McMurray, AB. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Stacey (Tony) Giddings, Telkwa, BC; Kelsey Price, Smithers, BC; Randy Price, Fort McMurray, AB; Rodney Price, Valleyview, AB; Neil Taylor, Strafford, PEI; Erika (Jason) Creally, Ottawa, ON; Jason (Stephanie) White, Fredericton, NB and eight great grandchildren: Morgan and Spencer Giddings, Sawyer Price; Owen, Liam, Quinn and Cailyn Creally and Anna White.
Spencer completed High School in Doaktown and graduated from a Business Program at Mount Allison University. He joined the air force and became a fighter pilot during World War II – flying the Harvard, Yale, Anson, Spitfire and Hurricane aircrafts. He flew missions out of England, Wales, Scotland, France, Belgium and Holland. After the war he returned to Doaktown and started a welding and machine shop which he owned and operated for forty years. He was interested in sports and played many sports in his youth: hockey, baseball, softball and tennis. Spencer was a quiet man who enjoyed a good book and a good cigar. Many thanks go to Brenda Porter and Natalie St. Germain for the great care provided to Spencer during his time at home. Thanks to Dr. Chow, Dr. Rae and Dr. Keddy for their professional care. A special thanks to all the staff of the Veterans Health Unit in Fredericton. You are an amazing group of employees.
Cremation will take place through Cremation Services of New Brunswick. At Spencer’s request there will be no visitation and no funeral service. A private family burial will take place at a later date. In Spencer’s memory donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

DOLLARD, VITALINE MARIE - At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, on Saturday, May 19th, 2007 VITALINE MARIE (LEGERE) DOLLARD of Chipman, 92 years of age.Predeceased by her husband Ola Dollard in 2001, parents Albert and Annie (LeBlanc) Legere, son Andrew and by six brothers and sisters. She is survived by sons Roger (Carlotta) and Alvin Dollard of Chipman; by daughters Viola (Paul) DeBouver of Douglas Harbour, Jeannie (Gerry) Clark of Sussex, Rose Doak of McGivney and Ida (Dave) Martin of Newcastle, by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Tuesday when funeral Mass will be held from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Chipman, at 10:00 a.m. with Father Peter Stephen officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 7-9 pm. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

At the DECH, Fredericton, on Friday, December 28th, 2007 FREDA GRACE DROST passed at the age of 68 years; Survived by son Kelvin (Debra) Drost of Brampton; by brother Terry (Susan) Bishop of Briggs Corner; by sisters Jean (Kenneth) Lawson of Salmon River and Donna (Clifford) Hargrove of Petitcodiac; by special granddaughters Brittany and Zoey; and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Burbage and Eileen (Glenn) Bishop, and by three brothers and one sister.
Resting at Chipman Funeral Home until Monday when funeral service will be held from the First Chipman United Baptist Church, Gaspereau, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Reg Ward officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. The family received visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Legion Auxiliary service was held at 6:30 p.m. followed by a LOBA service at 6:45 p.m. Memorials to GLATT, or charity of donor's choice, are appreciated by the family.

At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, on Monday, November 26th, 2007 HAYWARD ALLISON BROWN, 81 years of age, son of Harry and Beatrice (Beers) Brown. Hayward was predeceased by his wife Faye (Roberts) Brown in 1984. He is survived by sons Roger (Maggie) Brown of Chipman and Neil (Sharon Gow) of Alberta; by daughters Cheryl (Russ) Burns of Courtney, BC and Tammy (Gene) Butland of Fredericton; by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; by brother Wayne (Barby) Brown and sisters Reta Branscombe, Gwen (Arnette) Briggs and Laura (Lindy) Langin, all of Chipman. He was predeceased by three infant children, brother Ross Brown and sister Daureen Richardson.
Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Friday when funeral service will be held from the Chipman United Church at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Kathi Zwicker officiating. Interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart or Lung Associations would be appreciated by the family.

Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Wednesday when funeral service will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Sisco officiating. Survived by his wife, Barbara Johnson of Gaspereau Forks; by sons Brett (Carla) Fraser of Fredericton and Jody (Lois) Fraser of Chipman; by step-sons Ian and Mark Johnson of Ottawa; by four brothers, William (Anna) Fraser of Chipman, Neil Fraser of Gaspereau Forks, Leslie (Marina) Fraser of Saint John and David (Jane) Fraser of Saint John; by three sisters, Doris Murray, Joan Chevarie and Barbara (George) Corey all of Chipman; and by four grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife, Patricia Ann Fraser, by grandson Colton and by sister Dorothy Hay.The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday at the Chipman Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday from the Christian Life Centre at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors Dennis Sisco officiating. Spring interment in the Red Bank Cemetery.
