At the Moncton City Hospital, on May 18th, 2009 JEAN LILLIAN (BETTS) FRASER passed on at the age of 79 years. Widow of Vance Fraser and daughter of the late Marvin and Grace (Robinson) Betts, she is survived by her sons John (Bette) of Sussex, Douglas (Starr) and Stewart (Patty) of Moncton, Stephen of Doaktown; by daughters Carolyn (Glen) MacDonald and Margaret (Paul) MacDonald of Ontario; by brothers Melvin (Maureen) Betts and Lloyd (Lillian) Betts of Doaktown; by ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by brother Francis Betts and sisters, Leola Justason, Doris Storey and infant Elsie Betts.
Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Thursday when funeral service will be held from the Chipman United Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kathi Zwicker officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorials to the Chipman United Church or charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery.

At home, on Saturday November 3rd, 2007 CHARLES KENNETH FULTON, 74 years of age, son of the late Andrew and Marjorie (Glenn) Fulton. He is survived by his wife, Inez (Gesner) Fulton of Coal Creek; by son Eric Fulton of Calgary; by daughters Marion Fulton (Arthur Harding) of Hantsport, Nova Scotia and Sandra (Peter) MacMillan of Fredericton and Janet Fulton Brown of Coal Creek; by brothers Robert Fulton of Hampton and Harley Fulton of Chipman; by sisters Pearl Gesner, Jennie Parsons and Agnes Hargrove, all of Chipman; and by grandsons, Ashley Harding, Cody (Christie), Cordell and Caleb Brown, Jesse and Ryan Fulton; and by one granddaughter Heather Harding.
Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Tuesday when funeral service will be held from the Chipman United Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Nancy Ritchie officiating. Interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the NB Extra Mural Program would be appreciated by the family.

FULTON, EVA ELIZABETH (EDMANSON) - It is with sadness that we announce the death of EVA ELIZABETH (EDMANSON) FULTON at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 19th, 2007. Eva was born in Saint John on April 17th, 1909, daughter of the late Maggie Mae (Chase) & William Edmanson. She spent several childhood years living with her grandparents, George & Kathryn (Fowler) Chase. She returned to Saint John and worked for several years as a nanny to Natalie (Jones) Noseworthy and her late sister Nancy of Mount Pleasant Avenue. Eva married the late Fenton Fulton in 1937. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family, Maisie Fifield, Elsie Craig, Emily Rogers, William Edmanson and George Edmanson. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Joan (Chesley) Lamb, Annetta Gardner, Laura Jackart and son John (Dee). She was predeceased by her eldest daughter Nancy and infant son David. Eva will be remembered as a quiet loving mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, neighbour and friend. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.The family will receive visitors at the Chipman Funeral Home on Friday and Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held from the Second Chipman United Baptist Church, Chipman, on Sunday, July 22nd, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. David Egers officiating.Interment in the Baptist Cemetery. Donations may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.

He is survived by sons Garnett (Stacey) of Chipman; Harley Kenneth (Charlene) of Moncton, Kristan, Anthony, Timothy (Breanne) and Harold, all of Chipman; by daughter Sherry (Shawn) Hebert of Toronto; by sisters Agnes Hargrove, Pearl Gesner and Jennie Parsons, and sister-in-law Inez Fulton, each of Chipman; and by 4 grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Robert and Charles Fulton. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Saturday when funeral service will be held from the Chipman United Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kathi Zwicker officiating. Spring interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery. GALE, KATHERINE ORCHARD – Peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family, Katherine Orchard Gale, born at The Range, NB December 7, 1912 to Asa Frank MacVicar and Rachel Branscombe.She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.Survived by son, Gerald (Deanna) Chase and daughter Joyce (Charles) Barton, grandchildren, Andrea Miller, Dwayne (Kara) Chase, Gina (David) Barton, Kim (Peggy) Chase, Judy (Steve) Barton, Pam (Paul) Moore, Peggy (Dale) Barton and Stacey (John) Richard, great grandchildren, Andrew and Joel Miller, Elizabeth and Ben Barton Creelman, Kristen and Dylan Moore, Adam and Matthew Malcolm, Hanna and Abby Chase as well as many nieces and nephews and special friends, Alice, Paul and Allison LeBlanc.Predeceased by husbands Clarence Chase and Walter Gale, siblings, Hazel Kennedy, Rubie Barton, Greta Hargrove, John MacVicar, Wendall MacVicar, Lavenia MacLean and Leonard MacVicar.Resting at Chipman Funeral Home until Sunday, February 18, when the funeral service will be held from the Gaspereau Forks United Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. At the Oromocto Public Hospital, on July 16th, 2009 JOHN HERBERT DOHANEY passed on at 86 years of age. Survived by wife, Miriam (Russell), of Chipman; by sons Allen (Theresa) of Rothesay; Michael (Barbara) of Arizona; by daughter Kathy Caron (Terry Keough) of Grand-Barachois; by grandchildren, Patrick, Timothy, Ross, Jacqueline, John, Stephanie, Jason, Michelle, Nicola, Kate, Jeff Caron and Jamie Caron; by sister, Sister Margaret Dohaney (Sisters of Charity) in Saint John. Predeceased by parents William and Susana (Monahan) Dohaney, by brothers George (ww2 RCAF) and James; and by sister Agnes.
John was a Veteran War Radio Operator RCAF. He retired in 1978 as DOT Air Traffic Control Supervisor in Moncton. He was a long time Amateur Radio Operator (VE1PG), Moncton Golf Club member, Beaver Curling Club member, and was an active St. Joseph Catholic Church member. John was proud of his Irish heritage, with quick wit, whom his friends and family enjoyed. Special thanks to friends Carol and Albert Chessie, who helped tremendously during his illness.
Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Monday when funeral mass will be held from Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Peter Stephen officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 7-9 pm. Interment in Saint Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, or charity of donor's choice, would be appreciated by the family.

GARVEY, CHRISTOPHER CRAWFORD - Peacefully at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, on Monday, January 1st, 2007 CHRISTOPHER CRAWFORD GARVEY passed away at 88 years of age.Born in England on December 19th, 1918, the son of the late Thomas and Ruth (Parker) Garvey.Survived by his wife Leona (Fidler) Garvey; sons Michael and Laurie (Betty), both of Chipman; daughters Sara Garvey, Vancouver, Suzanne Garvey (Glendon McVicar) and Jennifer (Danny) Hargrove, all of Chipman.He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.He is also survived by grandchildren Joel, Brandi, Christian, Justin, Cetara, Rebecca and Whitley; step-grandson Matthew; and great-grandchildren Madison and Noelle; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Cheryl (Cupsy) and Roland Dickinson; and brother-in-in-law Michael Fidler (Darlene Knox).He was predeceased by sisters Audrey Grey (Eldon) and Joyce Clarke (Ira), and nephew Gary Clarke.Christopher was a member of Saint Augustine’s Anglican Church.Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Friday when funeral services will be held from Saint Augustine’s Anglican Church, Chipman, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
