Lukus B. Gallant

Lukus B. Gallant, 11, of Lancaster Road, Moncton passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday February 11,2001. Born in Moncton Lukus was the son of Pauline (Dixon) Gallant and the late Hubert Gallant.
Lukus was a grade four student at Beaverbrook School, member of the Moncton Boys and Girls Club and enjoyed outdoor activities.
Besides his mother Lukus will be sadly missed by his Maternal Grnadparents Philip and Lizzie Dixon, Paternal Grandmother Ernestine Gallant, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Besides his father Lukus was predeceased by his brother Andrew, paternal Grandfather Edgar Gallant.
Resting at St. Augustines Roman Catholic Church, visitation Tuesday 2-4,7-9. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Augustines Roman Catholic Church, Wednesday February 14,2001, 3pm, Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
David Joel Landry
David Joel Landry, 27, of Montreal, PQ, and formerly of Moncton passed away in Montreal on Sunday February 8,2001. Born in Moncton David was the son of Joel and Claudette (LeClair) Landry.
David was employed with Bell Canada, Montreal . A graduate of Moncton High School (1991) and was a former student at Concordia University, Montreal.
David was an artist for many years, loved painting, had a keen interest in Astrology and a deep respect for people, life and the environment.
Besides his parents David will be sadly missed by his sister Julie, Moncton, Maternal Grandparents Frank and Yollande (Cormier) LeClair, Moncton, Aunts, Uncles, Al and Pat Cunningham, Moncton, Dr. Michael and Joanne (Landry) Vondette, Vancouver, Cousins Mireya and Marc Cunningham, Moncton, Alexander, Mark, Michelle and Beth Vondette, Vancouver, BC.
Predeceased by Paternal Grandparents, Dr. Raoul and Mary (Corbett) Landry.

Jean Bourque officiating. Reception following the mass. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.

Violet MacRae, 82, of Grand Barchois and formerly of People’s Park Tower, Moncton passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Friday February 16,2001. Born in Rhymney, South Wales, England, Violet was the daughter of the late Robert and Lilly (Price) Kerton. She was a member of St. Philip’s Anglican Church and the A.C.W.
Violet will be sadly missed by her Daughters; Margaret Fram (Stewart), Moncton, Irene Smith (Murray), Riverview, Susan Leger (Leo), Grand Barchois, Judy MacDonald (Stuart), Uigg, PEI, ten Grandchildren and fourteen Great Grandchildren, sisters; Mildred Kilburn, Rose Charters, Pearl Smith (Merle), Ida Fawcett, Joan Cowie (Donald) all of Fredericton, Brother Douglas Kerton (Sheri), Burrey, BC, several Nieces and Nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Clarence B. MacRae (1980), Brothers Robert, Ben, Roger, David, Morgan, Charles, Sister Margaret.

Archibald M. Morrison

Archibald (Archie) M. Morrison, 65, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton and formerly of Riverview passed away at his residence on Monday February 26,2001.
Born in Lower Neguac, Archie was the son of Annie (MacKnight) Morrison of Ammon and the late Murray Morrison.
Archie was a retired self-employed salesperson, member of the Moncton Wesleyan Church, The Canadian Order of Foresters, Keith Lodge # 23 F & AM.
Besides his mother, Archie will be sadly missed by his Daughter Beth Morrison-Reilly (Bernard) Moncton, Sons; Murray (Tanis), Edmonton, Alberta, James (Jeannie), Fredericton, Kelvin (Kelly), Doaktown, Grandchildren; Tyler, Joseph, Ashley, Sister Catherine Wiseman (Garney), Ammon, Brother Walter (Eunice), Barre, Mass., Several Nieces and Nephews.
Besides his father, Archie was predeceased by his grandson Jimmie.

Seline Munroe

Seline Munroe, 95, Highfield St., Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday January 28,2001 after a brief illness. Born in Oxford NS, Seline was the daughter of the late Alex and Margaret (McLeod) Moore and was a member of the United Church of Canada.
Most of her married life was spent in Springhill,NS, where she and her husband Ernie operated Munroe’s Jewellery Store. In the later years she moved to Moncton to be close to her family and for the last forty years spent her winters in Florida.
She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be sadly missed by only son Norman (Audrey) , Moncton. Several Grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Ernie A. (1974), son Dr. Roy George (1986) (Sylvia), Stellarton, NS.
Resting at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton (858-1995). No visitation or Funeral Service by family request. Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill,NS.

Margaret E. Powell, 87, of McAuley Dr., Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday February 18,2001. Born in Petitcodiac, Margaret was the daughter of the late Frank and Maude (McKay) Mann.
Margaret was a member of the First United Baptist Church, The Idleour Senior’s Group and a Dominion Life Member of the U.B.W.M.U.
Margaret will be sadly missed by her daughters; Eileen Cedroff (John), Louise Hughes (Frank), Moncton, Son Alan (Shirley), Moncton, Grandchildren; David, Debra, Frank, Brenda, Tara, Hustin, Great Grandchildren; Christina, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Brittany, Brendan, Connor, several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Predeceased by her husband Charles Powell (1995), Son Bruce (June 1998).
