PEDDLE, Alice (Stokes) - passed away on Monday, April 9th, 2001 after a lengthy illness, Alice (Stokes) Peddle, in her 77th year. Predeceased by her first husband Albert Stokes. Leaving to mourn her husband Joe; daughters: Shelly Stokes (Jody), Valarie Pike (Paul), Heather Stokes (Art), Deana Stokes-Sullivan (Eugene); grandchildren: Roslyn, Matthew, Alyssa and Alex; sisters: Queenie Tucker, Blanche Morgan and Janet Strickland; and other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, from 7-9 p.m. Monday; 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday; and from 10 am. - 12 noon Wednesday. MOORE, Thomas - Passed peacefully away at his residence on July 26, 2001 at the age of 75 years. Predeceased by his brother Dave. Leaving to mourn his close friend Violet Pippy, five sisters Winnie, Louise (Stewart), Margaret, Trudy (John), Marie (Geoff), five brothers, Frank (Noreen), Mike (Mary), Ronnie, Leonard, Eli (Helen), also many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. At Thomas` request, cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at Chapel Green Great Codroy cemetery at a later date.

GRACE, Margaret (Margie) - 6742 Gulfport Blvd. S. 114, St. Petersburg, Florida 33707-3846. The many friends of Margie Grace both in St. John`s and Corner Brook will be saddened to hear of her passing on August 14, 1999. She was the Rental Manager at the Friendly Native Beach Resort for fourteen years and retired in 1991. It was there that she met and made many friends from Newfoundland. She is survived by her husband Virgil, a son William and a daughter Vickie.
