Predeceased by her sisters: Rose Hurley, Doris Bennett and Irene Ivey. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories husband Clifford; daughters: Valerie Burry and Margot Power (Chris); son: Stephen (special friend Charmaine); beloved grandchildren: Kelly Burry, Christina and Kimberley Power and Matthew Fitzgerald; sisters: Elizabeth Chafe and Jean Hanames (Ed); brothers: Robert (Winifred), Reg (Marjorie) and Jim; nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Cynthia was formerly from St. John`s, NL, and was 2 weeks away from her 57th birthday. She leaves to mourn her devoted husband Stanley J.; daughters: Debra Ann, Jennifer Lynn and son Stanley; mother and father Chesley and Phyllis Bishop; sisters: Peggy Rice (Philip) and Sandra Carrigan (Bill); brothers: David (Peggy), Donald (Marg), Jim (Sue), Randy (Donna), as well as aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral took place at St. Thomas of Villa Nova Church at Wilmington, Friday, August 1 at 10 a.m., followed by interment in Wildwood cemetery , Wilmington.

BAXTER, Mrs. Katherine Georgiana (nee Morris) - Born May 26, 1912 in St. John`s, NF, died June 10, 2000 in Brantford, Ont. Educated at Memorial and McGill Universities, and formerly a resident of St. Lambert, Quebec, she was predeceased by her brother, Pilot Officer David Gordon Morris (June 9, 1942), and her husband, Dr. Robert G. Baxter (January 1996). She is survived be her sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Pearce of Ottawa, and her sons; David Gordon (Dusty, with daughters Evalon and Willow), Dr. John William Morris (Penny), James Durward Falconer (Brenda), and Robert George Harwell. Georgie will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Andrew, Oliver, Erica, Megan, and John. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, 2000 at the Central Presbyterian Church, Brantford.
