WARREN, Roger K — passed peacefully away at his residence in Mount Pearl on July 8, 2011 in the presence of his family, Roger Warren, age 82 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 60 years Nellie; daughters Sandra Hillyer (John Ryan), Barbara Taylor (Wayne); sons Peter (Dorothy), Chris (Marilyn) and Roger (Sharon); brothers Frank and David Warren; sisters Barbara Richards, Joyce Joyce, Sybil Potter; sister-in-law Gladys Hibbs; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. KIELLEY, Mary Ruth: Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, July 5, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre, Mary Ruth Keilley, widow of the late Francis (Kip) Kielley; daughter of the late Munroe and Elizabeth Bishop. Left to mourn her passing are her cousin Harold Megann and wife Rose Marie; also many nieces and nephews in the Kavanagh, Keilley and O’Reilly families and many dear friends in the Nursing Profession. HOWELL, Harry Charles: Passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2011 after a lengthy illness and a courageous battle with cancer at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s aged 71 years. Leaving to mourn his sister Gertie Breen (Ed) and brother Clyde (Phyllis); nephews Jason Breen and wife Susan Dieleman (Toronto), Mark Howell (Ottawa), Brad Howell and wife Patricia (Upper Gullies) and half brother Chesley Howell and family. Harry’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to his neighbors on Gosling Street, especially Gerry Houlihan and his good buddy Hubert Hall for their kindness and support throughout their friendship. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. MISIK (nee Schneidhofer), Rosita - Passed away peacefully in her 96th year, on August 28, 2011 surrounded by her family at St. Luke's Nursing Home. Predeceased by husband, Dr. Karol (Charles) Misik; survived by her loving children: Dr. Karl (Susan) Misik and Tatijana Northrup; grandchildren: Natasha (Stephen) Taylor, Kristina (Peter Allison) Lenehan, Heidi Misik, Kurt Misik (fiancé Heather Joy), their mother Karen (Stentaford) Misik, Anastasia Northrup (fiancé Kyle Russ); great-grandchildren: Magnus and Stefania Taylor, Annabel, Aiden and Evan Lenehan. Rosi will be greatly missed by all her family and friends here in Newfoundland, along with relatives and friends in Austria and Slovakia.
