Passed peacefully away at her residence on Friday April 8, 2016 at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Ethel Janes, her sister Mary Hollett, husband Raftus and son Tony Noel. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Glenys Critch (Boyd), Cynthia Noel – Worthman (late Mel) and Gary Noel (Rita), grandchildren Amy, Kerry ( Tracy), Nicole ( A.J.), Adam ( Gloria ), Brittany (Jeff), Amanda (David) and one special great grandchild Daniel, survived by her 3 brothers Mervin (Sadie), Carson (Toni) and Frank Janes (Mona) and her dear travelling companion Vera Buck. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral home 329 Freshwater Rd. on Sunday from 2-9 p.m. A funeral Service will be held on Monday April 11, 2016 from Carnell’s Memorial Chapel, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park, Alice Janes, aged 92 years. Predeceased by her dearly loved husband, Norman, on January 1, 1998; and nephew Max King, December 26, 2009. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her niece Gloria (Fred) King, Foxtrap; nephews Leonard (Elaine)King, St. John’s and Len (Maxine) Winsor; and their extended families as well as many other caring relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Francis Williams; and brother and sister in law Joseph and Frances Strugnell. Leaving to mourn children Mabel (Ralph), Charlie, Robert (Agnes), Frances (Dave), Percy (Barb), Linda (Leo), and Carol (John); sixteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our precious son Stephen. Predeceased by his grandparents. Leaving to treasure his memory forever are his two darling daughters Emily and Rebecca Stagg, his loving parents Wayne and Judy Coffin, two brothers Adam and Scott, other family members and special friends. Passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy illness on April 29th, 2016, Howard James Parsons, aged 84 years. Predeceased by his parents Grace and Fred Parsons, sister Jean (Parsons) Jenkins, and son-in-law Paul Stuckless. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 61 years, Ada; daughter Diane Stuckless; granddaughter Amanda (Brian Fitzgerald) Parsons; grandson Grant (Jennifer) Stuckless; great-grandson Ethan Fennell; sister Alma White; numerous nieces and nephews and their families, as well as a large circle of family and friends. The family would like to extend special thanks and appreciation to Dr. Greenland and Staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre for all of their help and caring; Dr. Rideout of The Palliative Care and Symptom Management Program; Valerie Maher, Community Health Nurse; and Dr. Patrick O’Shea, Family Physician, for his compassion and home visits during Howard’s time of need.
