Roy Arthur Anderson
Passed away peacefully, March 28th, 2003, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Roy Anderson in his 93rd year.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family: three sons; Edward (Loretta), Clarence (Kay), Meadows, David, Ontario; three daughters: Effie Oliver, Judy Foote (Clifford), Mississauga, ON and Lorena Blanchard (Elwood), Meadows; 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; one sister-in-law Adgie Anderson, Meadows, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Mildred on June 20th, 1997, parents John and Annabella, three brothers, William, Lloyd and Daniel, two sisters, Effie and Lena.
Friends visited Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Meadows on Saturday evening and Sunday from Where the Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 31st at 2 PM, Rev. Ken Abbott officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Church.

Frank (Butch) Sheaves
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frank (Butch) Sheaves announce his passing on Thursday, March 27, 2003, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 60 years. Leaving to mourn with many precious memories his wife of 38 years, Sylvia (nee Park); his children; Twila Warwarick (Tim), Edmonton, AB, Teena (Glenn Dawe), Prince George, BC, and Scott (Krista Elms), Stellarton, NS; his mother Madelaine Sheaves, Waverly, NS, sister; Dianne Smith (Randy), Waverly, NS, and brother Jeff Sheaves, Corner Brook; granddaughter Kennedy Warwarick and Grandson Chase Dawe; mother-in-law Emily Park, Corner Brook; sisters-in-law Leona Piercey (Dave), Bedford, NS, Linda Coish (Elwin), Stephenville, Jeanette Noseworthy (Greg) and Carolana Snooks (Herb), Corner Brook; brothers in law Tom Park (Patricia), Fort McMurray, AB, Gary Park (Pauline) and John Park (Bernadette) Corner Brook; aunts Vera Murphy (Tom) and Susan Fudge, Corner Brook; 29 nieces and nephews, cousins and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Frank, 1996 and his brother Bill in 1990, sister Linda 2000, granddaughter Jersey Rae Dawe, 2002 and his sister-in-law Verna Stratton, 1989.
Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Ave on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral will be hled on Sunday, March 30, at 2 from the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Main Street, the Very Rev. Lorne Gosse officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Allan C. Parsons
Passed away suddenly at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Allan Parsons, on Saturday, March 15, 2003, in his 70th year. Predeceased by his parents Allan T. and Alice (Ryan) Parsons of Corner Brook, and brother John (Jack). Leaving to mourn wife Renee (nee Tilley); three sons, Blair, Todd, and Stephen; sister, Katherine (Kitty); grandchildren, Christopher, Allan, Sydney, Clare, and Sarah; as well as many other relatives and friends. His fun - loving spirit will be missed by all.
Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Ave on Monday evening from 7-9 pm and Tuesday, March 18 at 2 pm from the First United Church, Park Street, Rev. John Adams officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the local chapter of the SPCA.

Ramea, NL = It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elsie Pink announce her passing at the Calder Health Centre in Burgeo on Sunday, October 5th, 2008 at the age of 91 years. Mr. Lawrence served oversea’s in the Forestry Unit, Scotland from 1939 to 1945. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Keith (Deborah), Corner Brook, Eileen (Bill) Parsons, Little Rapids, and Carson (Edith), Gander; seven grandchildren: Danielle and Cameron Lawrence, Dustin and Jillian Parsons, Kelsey, Jordan and Adam Lawrence; three sisters: Rose Reid, Vancouver, BC, Vera Crocker, St. John’s, and Joan Weir, Perth, On; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife Mary (Doll), 1989; daughter Cavell, 1977; brothers: William and Carson; sisters: Joyce and Lea. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 55 years Murdock, children: Stephen (Jean), Ontario, Karen (Andy) Loder, Summerside, Murdock Jr. (Nancy), Ontario, Olga (Dan) Green, Ontario, Bruce (Leeanne), Corner Brook, Pamela (Tim) Schwartzentruber, Ontario, Bertha Prosper Hunt and Jim Hunt, British Columbia; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sisters: Betty (John) Parsons, Labrador City, Margaret (Danny) McCarthy, Hughes Brook and Evelyn (Lloyd) Colbourne, Ottawa, brother Eric (Betty) Pike, Corner Brook; sister-in-law Cora Pike, Labrador City, brothers-in-law: Jim Whiteway, Corner Brook, Eric Prosper, Corner Brook and Hector (Eva) Prosper, Corner Brook. Mary "Beatrice" Messervey
Robinson’s, NL - Passed peacefully away at her daughter Mary’s home in Lawrencetown, NS, Mary Beatrice Messervey on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 at the age of 80 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Chesley; son: Carl (Nancy); daughters: Theresa (Mark), Barbara (Glenn), Mary (Frank); eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sisters: Grace, Ada and Jane; brothers: Joseph, Chesley and George; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents: Wilson and Minetta Legge of Heatherton; son: Gordon; sister: Georgina and brother Charles. Beatrice devoted over 50 years of service to her church and was a long time member of Three Rivers Hospital Association and the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Special recognition to Mary, Beatrice’s loving daughter who devoted eight years of taking care of her mother. Special thanks to all of Beatrice’s home care workers and the Palliative Care team.
