Corner Brook, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Rumbolt announce her sudden passing at her home at the age of 72. She leaves to mourn her daughter Carolyn Tavenor, son-in-law Tony, and grandchildren Joshua and Charlotte. She also leaves her twin sister, Joan Warnock (Iowa), sister Pauline Hall (Toronto), brothers and sisters-in-law Ralph Rumbolt (Peg), Margaret Boljkovac (George), Evelyn Rumbolt, Mary Madore, Bro. Ron Rumbolt (Welland, ON), nieces, nephews and a wide circle of cherished friends and neighbors. She will also be dearly missed by her beloved dog Jessie. Jean was predeceased by her husband Sidney Rumbolt Jr., parents Thomas and Mary Hall, sisters and brothers: Stephen, Ona, Lorna, Janice, and Tom, niece Jeannie, grand niece Robyn and parents-in-law Sidney and Matilda Rumbolt and brother-in-law Doug Madore. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 6 at 10:30 AM from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael; father: Eugene Plowman; parents-in-law: Millicent and Owen Kelly and sister-in-law: Hilda Hynes. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Andrew Junior Alexander announce his passing on Monday, October 19th, 2009 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 50 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Heather; children: Andrew and Anna; parents: Charles and Mildred Alexander; sisters: Bride (Leo) and Janet; brothers: Dominic (Val), Clarence (Blanche), Randy (Pat) and Perry (Melanie); father and mother-in-law: Fred and Helen Pardy; sisters-in-law: Cheryl (Andre) and Kimberly (Jeff), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Loretta and brother-in-law Monte. Joe was a successful business owner of Deer Lake Sales and Services in Deer Lake for over 53 year’s. He was also a very prominent member of many organizations in Deer Lake, the Humber Valley and the province.
