Happy Valley - Goose Bay, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bruce Penny announce his passing on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the Health Science Centre in St. John's at the age of 75 years. He will be sadly missed by his children: Douglas (Joan), Sharon, Jean (Eugene), Larry (Carla) and Dan (Karen), 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Dorcas, brothers John Croucher, Victor and George Penny and Graham, biological mother Margaret Crocher Lunnen White. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Monday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 16 at 11:00 a.m. from the Anglican Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Burgeo, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stanley Robert Fudge announce his passing on Sunday, October 10th, 2010 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, at the age of 89 years. He was predeceased by his wife Mabel (Feb. 25, 1995). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons: Roy (Judy), Burgeo and Gordon (Ella), Bonavista; grandchildren: Edward, Jocelyn, Neva and Marc; great-grandchildren: Brandon, Naya and Kyle; brothers: William Fudge, St. John’s and Andrew Fudge, Ramea; sister Edith Piercey, Burgeo, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Friends may visit St. John Evangelist Anglican Church in Burgeo on Monday and Tuesday, from where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 13th at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Community Cemetery. Port Au Choix, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Hynes announce his passing on Friday, January 22, 2010 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn two sons: Father Ambrose, Corner Brook and Russell (Una); four daughters: Hazel, Jocelyn (Lambert), Marie (Fred), of Port Au Choix, Jane (Val) of Port Saunders; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; sister: Mildred Rumbolt; brother: Edmund Hynes; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Charles and Charlotte; wife: Lillian in 1985; brother: Abe and sister: Irene. HYNES, Kevin Joseph
Kevin Joseph Hynes of Happy Valley, Labrador. Born in Ferryland, Nfld on August 26, 1932 the son of the late Howard and Angela (Power) Hynes. Kevin is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Josephine, three daughters: Phyllis Clarke (Mark) of Sussex, NB, Cathleen LaFave (Brent) of Clarence Creek, ON and Jacqueline Hynes of Halifax; his son Kevin Hynes of Ottawa; his sister, Phyllis Walsh (Roy): three brothers: John (Betty), Fred (Thelma) and Howard (Evelyn); sister-in-law, Ann White (Cliff ); brothers-in-law Ed Vickers (Bernadette) and Pat Vickers (Josephine); aunts and uncles: Marie, Cecilia, Rita, Aiden, and Peter; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends.
Predeceased by his infant son, Robert; three sisters-in-law, Maude Tobin, Imelda Williams and Theresa Vickers and brother-in-law, Michael Vickers.
