It is with great sadness that the family of the late Helen Cecilia Quigley (Connolly) of Curling announce her peaceful passing, surrounded by her loving children, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Tuesday, November 29th, 2011 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by her son Douglas, sister Theresa and brother Mike. Leaving to mourn her daughter and best friend Catherine and special grandson Matthew Quigley with whom she resided, other children, Jim (Linda), Fredericton, Marilyn (Don), Nanaimo, Sandra (Leo), Goose Bay, Mike, Halifax, Krista (Todd), Mt. Moriah. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren: Andrew (Lori), Carissa (Steven), Sophie (Steve) Idsinga, Katie (Dixon) Gunther, Gerard and Jeremy Bellows; great grandchildren: Sean, Jack, Mariel, Juliet, Annika; sisters Ann Traverse, Mary Tabbert; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, on Thursday evening 7 – 9 p.m. and Friday 2 -4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 3rd at 10:00 a.m. from Sacred Heart Parish, Curling. Father Edmund Camacho officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

GEORGE’S, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Glenn Clarence Madore announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on November 28, 2011 at the age of 58 years. He leaves to mourn with precious and loving memories his wife Patricia; daughter Tamara (Ken) McGrath; son Glennie (Holly) Madore; grandchildren: Zackary, Reily, Hudson, Charlotte; mother Eileen Madore (Eric); brothers: Rex (Hazel) Madore, Darrell (Olive) Madore; Dog Katie as well as other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his father Clarence Madore and mother and father-in-law William and Catherine Harview. Visitation will take place at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church in St. George’s on Thursday from 2 … 9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Rose officiating. Interment following the service will be in the Anglican Church Cemetery, St. George’s. To honor Glenn’s request cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, St. George’s.
