Deer Lake, NL - Passed peacefully away into the presence of the Lord surrounded by his loving family, Edward James McKay at his family residence on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the age of 81 years. A very special thank you to granddaughter Lisa Pinksen, RN primary care provider for her grandfather during his illness. Friends may visit Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Bennett Avenue on Sunday from the hours of 7-9 and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Peter Grimes officiating. Interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery, Wight’s Road. Pasadena, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sandra Lynn Dimitroff (Sansome) announce her passing on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 56 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 26 years Guy Dimitroff; mother June Sansome, Pasadena; father Donald (Theresa) Sansome, St. John’s; brother Peter Sansome, St. John’s; mother-in-law Thérèse Dimitroff, Bathurst, NB; as well as a large circle of sisters and brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and many special friends who she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her father-in-law Nicholas Dimitroff. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Left with fond memories: his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Frances; seven children: Terry, Jane DuHart (Dan), Wilson, Beverly, Brian (Carolyn), Stephen (Jennifer) and Gary (Heather); 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren: sister: Evelyn (Cec) Miles; brother: Robert (Sylvia) Beck; brother-in-law: Frank (Shirley) Morgan and sisters-in-law: Velma Coombs and Barbara King; as well a many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to say a special Thank You to the Palliative Care staff at Western Memorial Hospital and to the Coleman family for their continued support during our Father’s illness.
