Corner Brook, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charles Pierce announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 21, 2004 at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son, Ronald of Corner Brook, daughter, Bertha of Corner Brook, sisters: Ruby Joyce, Jane Deering and Phyllis Pierce, and a large circle of relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Melinda and sister Edith Lundrigan. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road today, Monday, November 22, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Salvation Army Temple with Major Cooper officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Passed peacefully away at Leamington, Ont., On Monday September 29th, 2003, George Clements. Age 57 years.
Predeceased by his parents Richard and Helen, brothers James, Frank and Charles.

Funeral service 2 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2003, from St. George’s Anglican Church, Petty Harbour with interment at St. George’s Cemetery, Petty Harbour. Corner Brook, NL - It is with heartfelt sadness that the Pennell family announces the peaceful passing of their father, Leonard James Pennell on Friday, April 2, 2004 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 80th year. He will be dearly missed by his wife Martha (Mae) of 58 years, and his sons: Albert (Betty), Gordon (Judy), Terry (Colleen), Clayton (Angela), Randy, Rick (Sharon), Todd (Rebecca), & Steve (Lesa); and daughters: Sandra Fiander (Bruce), Ruby Hull (Howard), Louise Howse (Colin), & Connie Pennell (Deborah); brothers: Selby (Olive), & Eldin (Olive); and his 23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert & Mary Pennell. He will also be dearly missed by close family friends, Camille Pennell and Doris Pennell. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Rd. today from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, April 4, 2004 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will take place at the Salvation Army Temple on Monday, April 5, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with Major Gary Cooper officiating. Park, Randy
Corner Brook, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Randy Park announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, January 16, 2005. Randy leaves to mourn his loving wife and best friend Dorothy (Daye) and his brothers and sisters: Joan Fisher (Art), Jerry (Dolores), Rod (Donna) all of Corner Brook, Marg Pumphrey (Tom) of Manuels, Mary Russell (Jim), Don Marks all of Nova Scotia, Carol (Cap) Crossley (John), Paul, Harry (Joanne) and Julie Pierik (Paul) all of Ontario; special sister-in-law Gertrude Daye; favorite aunt Carrie Whelan; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Roy (1984) and Ann (Marks) (1989) . Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with a service of remembrance at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Randy’s wish was to have donations forwarded to the Cancer Centre, Western Region, 4th Floor, Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
Sarah (nee Coates) Andrews Castella
Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Center, after a courageous battle with Cancer, on Wednesday, December 4, 2002, Sarah Castella, age 74 years.
Predeceased by her first husband Harold Andrews, 1976; and brother Clifford Coates, 2001.
Left with loving memories her husband Edward Castella, Kissimmee, Florida; sons: Tony and wife Debby, Terry and wife Barbara; four loving granddaughters: Kimberly, Ashley, Stephanie and Jessica; sister Ellie Pitcher, all of St. John’s; also leaving to mourn nieces, nephews and many friends.
