Lovell, William

Corner Brook, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bill Lovell announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on September 24, 2004 at the age of 35 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his life partner Patti Lynn Vincent; mother Josephine Rideout, step-father Sam Rideout; special friends Kenneth & Lorna Vincent and a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Sunday, September 26, 2004 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 27, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Anglican church with the Very Rev. Lorne Gosse officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Loder, Richard Melbourne

Summerside, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Richard Loder announces his sudden passing at his family residence on Monday, April 5, 2004 in his 51st year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Bonnie, and daughters Sherri & Mary. He also leaves to mourn his father: Earl Murphy of Summerside; sisters: Hilda Ruth & Mona McAuley of Summerside, Doreen Whyte (Jerry), & Shirley Loder of Halifax; brothers-in-law: Eric Osbourne (Odette) & Colin Osbourne of Ontario and sister-in-law Verna Osbourne of Summerside; and a large circle of family & friends especially the St. Paul’s Men’s Service Club, Early Childhood Development Association and the Lion’s Club. He is predeceased by his mother, Marie Loder and grandparents, Martha & Albert Loder. Visitation will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Summerside today from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Payne officiating. Interment at the church cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Country Haven Funeral Home.

Lilly, Sophie Rubena
March 20, 1920 - April 14, 2004

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sophie Lilly announces her peaceful passing at the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at the age of 84 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, sons: Charlie (Gwendolyn) of Deer Lake, NL, John (Brenda) of Whitby, ON, Melvin (Florence) of Corner Brook, NL, & Reginald (Barbara) of Oshawa, ON; daughters: Gertrude (Jack) Hickey of Gander, NL, Frances (Ambrose) Skinner, Violet (William) Gardner all of Corner Brook, NL & Gwendolyn (David) Gardner of Surrey, BC; grandchildren: Wayne, Brian, Paul, Coreena, Robert, David, Christina, Karen, Paul, Craig, Adam, Katrina, Kimberley, Kaleb, Dwayne, Sabrina, Jennifer, Tanya & Nicole; great grandchildren: Lindsay, Amanda, Cara, Jordan, Adam, Andrew, Megan, Sarah, Ryan, Jessica, Tyler, Avery, Alandra, Brianna, Zachery, Ethan, Brandon, Jonas & Braedon; sister, Isabella (Alex) Snook of Harbour Breton, and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Charles (August 1969) and granddaughter Stephanie (January 1983) . Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Rd. today from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Friday, April 16, 2004 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will take place at Saint Michael’s Anglican Church on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. King officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Receiving Chapel. Flowers gratefully accepted of donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association. Lee, Gertrude
February 3, 1918 - April 7, 2004

Gertrude, Matriarch of the Lee Family went to sleep in the arms of God after a short illness. Many of her children and grandchildren were at her bedside. She leaves a large void in our hearts but a great faith, love, caring and confidence that we can continue with the grace of God and support of each other. She is survived by her eighteen children: Kevin (Angie) Lee of Fort St. James, B.C., Dermot (Colette) Lee of Hamilton, ON, Elizabeth (Joe) Arnold of Downers Grove, Ill., Geraldine (David) Field of Pierrefonds, Que., Bernadette (Robert) Hughes of Mt. Pearl, Suzanne (William) Culhane of Bridgewater, N.S., John (Betty) Lee of Bedford, N.S., Peter (Mary) Lee, Marie (Karl) Wyatt, Leonard (Betty) Lee, Patrick (Florence) Lee, Madonna (Carl) Simmons, Veronica (Fred) Price, Imelda Lee-Warren (Cecil), Gerard (Loretta) Lee, Theresa, Deborah & Rome all of Corner Brook; 45 loving grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren & 5 great great grandchildren; brother, Michael Gould & sister Yvonne Plowman of Port-aux-Choix; and a very special cousin & friend Rita Farrell of Port-aux-Choix; and a large number of relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas (1988), sons: Ronald (1998) & Thomas Jr. (2003), grandson, Jeffrey Simmons (1978), great grandson Zachary Park (1993), great granddaughter Kate Lee (2003), mother Augustine Brenton, father Patrick Gould, 2 sisters & 4 brothers. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Rd. today from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Friday, April 9, 2004 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2004 at 9:30 a.m. from Holy Redeemer Cathedral with Father Gale officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Receiving Chapel. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to Epilepsy Association of Newfoundland & Labrador or the Canadian Cancer Society. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Josie; daughter Marilyn (Kim) Freeman of Oakville, ON; son Brian (Laureen) of Smithers, BC; grandchildren: Nadja, Mikhail, Alana, Marissa & Benjamin; brother Kenneth of Corner Brook; sister-in-law Elsie; brothers-in-law Maxwell (Patricia) Gill of Corner Brook and Reginald (Dorothy) Gill of Trenton, ON; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Raymond. October 22, 1955 - December 3, 2004

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Gwen (nee Bellows); daughter Sabrina (Jeff) House-Ellsworth; son Jonathon (Samantha); brothers: Darren (Robby-Lynn) of Pasadena, Dennis (Colleen) of Ontario, sisters: Lorraine of Corner Brook, Norma (David) of Bedford, Denise Twyne of Ontario, Linda (Tony) of Manitoba, Lauri (Eugene) and Torena (Glynn) both of Deer Lake; mother-in-law Veronica (Harold) Bellows-Green of Pasadena; stepmother Bernadine House of Deer Lake and a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers. He is predeceased by his parents: Wilfred and Kathleen (nee Park), grandparents: Luke and Rachel House, William and Dulcie Park. Funeral services will be held today December 6, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Park Drive, with Rev. Gordon Druggett officiating. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery Meadows. Blanche Edith Hutchings
December 15, 1926 - August 10, 2020

HUTCHINGS Blanche Edith (nee Milley) passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, August 10, 2020 at the age of 93 years.
Predeceased by her husband of 57 years Clayton James Hutchings in 2002, her three sisters and four brothers.
Leaving to mourn with cherished and loving memories her daughter Yvonne Richards (Bruce); sons: Don and Gary Hutchings; grandson Christopher (Charlene); precious great grandson Lincoln; special niece Joan Brent of Botwood, as well as a large circle of others relatives and friends. A special thank you to the nursing staff of 4NA Health Sciences Centre for the care and compassion they gave to Blanche during her time with them.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 13th from Barrett’s Funeral Home 328, Hamilton Avenue between 5pm-9pm. Funeral service will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Friday, August 14th at 2pm. (Covid-19 Alert Level 2 restrictions apply) . For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed.
