Corner Brook, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marlie Harris announce her passing at the Health Sciences Center on Monday, January 12, 2004 at the age of 42 years. She leaves to mourn her husband of 11 years, Sid; precious daughter, Emilie; her parents, Fred and Martha Douglas of Grand Bank; sister, Maxine Flynn (Michael) of Chapel's Cove; brother, Frank (Cora) of Grand Bank; mother-in-law, Sadie Harris of Grand Bank; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her brother, Wayne and father-in-law, Edward Harris. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday, January 15, 2004 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Michael's Anglican Church, Park Drive on Friday, January 16, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Druggett officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Receiving Chapel. Marie, On, Ruby Hare (Louie) of Trinidad, Winnie (Wilfred) Bowles of St. John’s, NL, & Eileen Warren (Ed) of Dartmouth, NS; brothers: Calvin (Alice), Jim (Dianne), Clayton, & Henry (Flora) of Burgeo; two grandchildren: “Granddad’s buddy” Steven of Gibbons, AB & “Poppy’s Princess” Caitlin of Corner Brook; and a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Philip (1959), mother Maria Jane (1972) & father Philip (1998) . Visitation will be take place at St. John the Evangelist Church, Burgeo starting Thursday evening from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev.
