Halfway Point, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Della Connolly announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at the age of 81 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 59 years, Anthony; sons: Bernard (Dianne), Donald (Bev) all of Lark Harbour, & Brian (Leona) of Halfway Point; daughters: Regina (Joseph) Martarella of Miami, Florida, Marie (Neil) Reddy of Corner Brook, Leona (Bob) Batstone of Benoit’s Cove, Sandra Meaney of Ottawa, Mary (Dave) Hackett of Benoit’s Cove, & Gertie (Paul) Pederson of Arizona; grandchildren: Peter, Michelle, Natasha, Bjorn, Tina, Kerri-Lee, Tony, Paul, Michael, Michelle, Mark, Joshua, Samantha, Leanna, Ashley, Evan, Chloe, Alanda, Stephen, Emily & Tammy; great grandchildren: Dee, Braden, Jordan, Tyler, Garrett, Chelsea, Tianna, Claire & Benjamin; sisters: Margaret (Jack) Hackett, Rita (Phonse) O’Connell, & Mary (Joseph) Bourgeois; brothers: Ben (Rita), Nick (Margaret) & Isaac (Mary); and a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. She was predeceased by baby son, John; grandson, Adam; parents, Mary & William; & brothers: Frank, Pius, William, & Felix. She was predeceased by her husband William (2003), parents James & Sarah Gavin, sisters Dulcie and Helen, and brother Ambrose. Also leaving with cherished memories her brothers and sisters: Glynn (Carol-Ann) Abbott of Kitchener, ON, Randy (Dianne) Abbott of Orangeville, ON., Linda (Bill) Rowsell of Corner Brook, Gloria (Bill) Pittman of Rocky Harbour, Debbie (Ed) Marks of Irishtown and Cheryl Abbott (John) of London, ON.
