Spencer, George Thomas

Corner Brook, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Spencer announces his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on March 18, 2009 in his 84th year. He leaves to mourn his wife Edith of 40 years, together 55 years. His son; George Spencer Jr. and his daughter; Zoe Spencer and husband Sean Feeney. Grandchildren; Colby Spencer, Jordan Spencer Feeney, sister; Katie Walters of Halifax. His extended family; Rowena and Edward Gaulton and their daughters Krista and Karla Wight and Michael Spencer. He was predeceased by his parents George and Catherine Spencer, his sister Nina and Husband Norman Cutler, Charlotte and husband Clem Strickland, brothers; Steve and Harvey. Memorial service will take place on Sunday March 22, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Russell officiating. At his request cremation has taken place and Interment at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road.

Goodyear, Aubrey

Corner Brook, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Aubrey Goodyear announces his passing at his family residence on Tuesday March 10, 2009 at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his sisters; Marie Oxford of Corner Brook, Marguerite (Lawton) Sttuman of Georgia, USA., Paula (Lonz) Dewling of Corner Brook and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; Baxter and Amelia Goodyear, Brother Clifford Goodyear, Brother-in-law Chuck Oxford, and sister-in-law Muriel Goodyear. The family will be receiving friends at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 167 Country Road with Rev. Marilyn Avery officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of ones choice.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories; her husband of 52 years Harry, children; Cathy (Jim) of Regina Sask., George of Edmonton AB., Keith (Sharon) of Edmonton AB., Greg (Donna) or Pasadena NL., grandchildren; Brian Flynn (Erin Chapman), Melanie Flynn, Jennifer Camp (Sam Holm), Stephanie Camp (Mathieu Godbout), Krystal LeDrew, Kayla LeDrew, Henry Camp, Christopher Camp, Tanya Camp, sister; Vera Picott, brother; Peter (Margaret) Foote, sisters-in-law; Rita Foote, Gertrude Foote, Edna Humber, Norma Gray, Dorothy Hunt, Margaret (Ron) House, Pauline (Roy) Howell, brother-in-law; Dr. William Camp (Marilyn), as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is pre deceased by her parents Alfred and Violet Foote, her brothers Wesley, Leo and Kenneth, and her sisters Alice Edwards, Dorothy Picco (Gordon Picco) and Mary Pittman. Visitation will be held at St. David’s Anglican Church in Pasadena on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. The memorial service will take place on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 2 p.m. at St. David’s Anglican Church in Pasadena with Rev. Edmond Laldian officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Cancer society.

Corner Brook, NL - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Judith (Judy) Campbell announces her passing at her residence on Friday, February 13, 2009 at the age of 50 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories; her family; husband Bill Park, children DJ and Deidre Hutchings, mother Eileen Campbell, brothers and sisters; Jack McCarthy, Ken, Colin, Dan, Gerarda, Rhona, Corinne, Neala, Janet, Donna and Mary as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is pre deceased by her daughter Michelle Lynn Hutchings and her father Angus Neil Campbell. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Monday, February 16, 2009 from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer church with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. At Judy’s request cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to The Humber Wood Treatment Center or charity of ones choice.

McMurray, AB, Delsey Maynard (Gerald) of Ft. McMurray, Diane Tapp of Fort McMurray, AB, Brenda Buck (Colin) of Shubenacadie, NS, Nobalee Tapp (Michael) of Corner Brook, Bobbie Goosney (Dwight) of Three Mile Rock, Laurie (Francois) Trepanier of Angus, ON; his brothers, Gary Tapp (Daisy) of Cormack, NL, Gerald Tapp (Marsha) of Deer Lake, Special Friends Cindy, Mark and his special little girl Allie, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews family and friends. He is predeceased by his Mother Maude Mildred (Layden) Tapp on December 3, 1984 and his sister Mildred Tapp. The family will be receiving friends on Monday March 23, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9, Tuesday March 24, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9. The funeral will take place on Wednesday March 25, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel 167 Country Road with Rev Malcolm Palmer officiating.
