KING, Angela Mary – March 22, 1915 - October 9, 2007. Passed peacefully away at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia at the age of 92. Predeceased by her parents, James and Annie (Healey) Maher; brothers: James, Kevin and William Maher; sisters: Madeline Withers, Isabella Redmond, Sarah Murphy, Anna Reynolds, Agnes Eddy and Florence Connors. Leaving to mourn her beloved husband of 42 years, George; step-children: Ann (Val) Griffiths, Frank (Maureen), Ray, Carmel (Hayward) Russell, Ron (Sandra), Doris (Don) Bowering and Marie; grandchildren: Jason (Robyn), Laurie, Gary (Jennifer), Daniel, Marie, Ronald, Robert and Rebecca; great-grandchild Gavin and step-great-grandchildren: Shawn and Samantha. ROCHE, Mary (nee Boland) – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on Monday, October 8, 2007 in her 77th year. Predeceased by her parents, Dennis and Bridget; brother William; and sister Pauline. Leaving to mourn her husband of 46 years, Martin; daughters: Marsha, Susan; son Martin; adored grandsons: Connor, Mackinnon, Aidan; sister Helen (Joseph); and a large number of nieces, nephews, and friends. Mary’s large circle of wonderful friends is invited to join her family in a celebration of her life at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Outer Cove on Saturday, October 13th at 10:00 a.m. Private family burial has been arranged. SHAFFER, Evelyn Mary (nee O’Brien) – Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, age 92 years. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth; brother Ron and sisters: Margaret Dawe, Regina McGowan and Sr. Mary Carmel. Leaving to mourn her sister Clotilda O’Brien; her sister-in-law Margaret O’Brien, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday, October 11th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Cremation to follow. DINN, Peggy – It is with broken hearts that we announce the death of Peggy Dinn. Surrounded in so much love by her family, Peggy passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the Palliative Care Centre on Thursday, October 11, 2007, age 61 years. She is predeceased by her daddy, Jack Hanlon; and her brother, Tom Hanlon. Left with cherished and precious memories are her husband and best friend, Jerry; sons: Carl (Kelly) and Barry (Sue); mommy, Nellie Hanlon; step-daughter Suzanne Dinn; step-son Brian (Juanita) Dinn; grandsons: Ryan and Christian Dinn; brother Richard (Judy) Hanlon; sister Angela (Mike) Reardigan; sister-in-law Carol Ann Hanlon; special niece Denise Evans; also a very large number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary Peddigrew and brothers: Gordon (Mercedes) and Pat. Leaving to mourn his wife of 50 years, Agatha (nee Daley); his children: Anne Marie Tibbo (Justin), Paul (Glenda), Chris (Agnes), Larry, Jeanette, Maureen (Kevin Perham) and Jamie (Kelly); his grandchildren: Jason, Stephen and David Tibbo, Nicole and Danielle Peddigrew, Tyler MacDonald-Peddigrew and Melissa and Ryan Peddigrew and his great-grandchild Gabrielle Tibbo. WEGER, John – On Wednesday, October 10th, 2007, our much loved “Johnny” joined his mother and father, at the age of 73, after passing suddenly at the Health Sciences Complex.
