It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rebecca Ann Parsons announces her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday September 22, 2011 at the age of 61 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories husband Daniel Parsons of 42 years, sons Terry (Lori), Todd (Shelley), Tony (Violet), David (friend Tracey), grandson T.J, and mother Nina Durnford (friend Jim), brothers Roland, Sam (Maggie), John (Helen), Sister Eleanor (friend Calvin), special nieces Nina and Laura Young, also a large circle of aunts, uncle’s nieces, nephews, and friends. She is predeceased by father John Durnford, Brothers Stanley, Donald, Calvin, and Sister Laura Young. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Sunday September 25, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service will take place on Monday September 26, 2011 at 2 P.M. from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation.
Irene Grace (Collins)
(September 12, 1935 - September 5, 2011)
It is with great sadness that the family of Irene Grace (Collins) announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on September 5, 2011 at the age of 76 years. She leaves to mourn son Brian Grace (Kelly) .Grandchildren Terriann and Taylor Grace, Lindsay Moorehouse, Karen Springstead (Tyson), Great grandchildren Kaylynn & Logan Moorehouse & Bentley Springstead. Sisters Beulah Cooper (Harold), Voira Batt (Sam), Myra Joseph (Pat), Audrey Collins (Dr.PK Ganguly) . Brother Terry Collins (Dot) & sister-in-law Betty Collins. Sixteen nieces and nephews. Thirteen great nieces and nephews. Special niece Audra Oxford & two special friends Bessie Reid & Pauline Hawkins. She is predeceased by her mother & father Hannah & Edgar Collins, and daughter Dot Moorehouse, brothers Cecil & Raymond Collins and sister-in-law Rose Collins. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road Corner Brook, NL on Wednesday and Thursday the 7th and 8th of September 2011 from the hours of 2-4 &7-9 pm. From where the funeral service will take place at Country Haven Chapel on Friday at 2pm with Majors Calvin and Loretta Fudge officiating. Cremation to take place, interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted or donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Frank Stewart

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frank Stewart announces his passing in the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday September 13, 2011 at the age of 68 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife and best friend Helen of 48 years, sons Todd (Rose), Darren (Jenny), daughters Carol Ann (Rob), Treena (Gord), Tammy (Norm), Tanya (Faron), grandchildren Wendy (John), Nikki (Robert), Tyler, Jonathan, Sarah, Kira, Andrew, Kaitlyn, great granddaughter Sophie, brothers John (Rhoda) and Angus (Mary), also a large circle of relatives and friends. He is predeceased by mother and father Mary and William Stewart, brothers William, Thomas, James, and Sisters Elizabeth and Edith. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday September 15, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and on Friday September 16, 2011 from 10-12 A.M. Cremation to follow. Funeral service will take place on Sunday September 18, 2011 at St. Ambrose Anglican Church at 2 P.M. in John’s Beach with Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment to take place at a later date.
