BADCOCK, Mary Yvonne – Passed away peacefully on September 22, 2007 at her home in Cambridge, Ontario, in her 64th year, loving wife and best friend of Gerald J. Badcock for 42 years, after a lengthy struggle with dementia. Will be sadly missed by her beloved Alaskan Malamute, Motcie. Yvonne was born on Bell Island, Newfoundland and formerly worked at Walker Exhaust for 28 years. Honorary member of the Cambridge Newfoundland Club. Yvonne is survived by one sister Loretta O’Brien (James), and four brothers, Leo Young (Marjorie), John (Nellie), Edward (Clara) and James. Sister-in-law, Joyce Conrad of St. John’s, Newfoundland and brothers-in-law Allan Conrad of Whitbourne, Newfoundland and Eric Parsons of Freshwater, Newfoundland as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John (1999) and Elizabeth (1989) and her brother Frederick (1953). At Yvonne’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Pilley’s Island, Newfoundland. Arrangements entrusted to Little’s Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Cambridge (519) 623-1290. CONWAY, Nellie – Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex on Sunday, September 23, 2007. Nellie Conway, formerly of Renews, in her 97th year. Leaving to mourn daughters Elsie Pendergast (Mike), Evelyn Geary (Ambrose), Agnes Rice (Roy) and Cecilia Shaw; sons John and Myles (Marg); also a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. EZEKIEL, Samuel Jr. (April 5th, 1920 - September 22nd, 2007) – Passed peacefully away after a short but valiant battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents: Samuel Sr. & Anne, brother: Jack, Sisters: Mary & Veronica. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Levina, sons: Leo, Michael (Anne Marie), John (Aggie), daughters: Annie (John), Betty (Garry), and Edna (Barry) . Special mention to grandchildren whom resided with him, Toni-Lynn (Steven) and his buddy Jordan. Grandchildren: Shawn (Suzanne), Susan (Jason), Mark, Melanie (Adrian), Johnny (Crystal), Derek (Sue-anne), Tinna (Wilson), Linsey (Duke), Lesley (Jason), great-grandchildren: Liam, Amanda, Megan, Hanna, Isabelle, Jorja, extended family and friends. FOLEY, Donald J. (Longtime emplyee of the City of St. John’s - retired December 2002) – Passed away suddenly at his residence at the age of 55 years on September 23, 2007, Donald J. Foley. Predeceased by his father James (Feb. 2007), brother-in-law Claude Power (Nov. 1980) . Leaving to mourn his loving mother Louise; brother Jimmie (Lorraine); three sisters: Dorothy Murray, Patsy (Gerald Evans) and Sandra; three nephews: John Murray (Leona), Chris Evans (Kelli) and Keith Evans (Natalie); three nieces: Sheri Dawe (Colin), Lisa Holwell (Corey) and Kelly Murray (Steven Hawco) . Don will be certainly missed by his great nieces and nephews: Jonathon, Christopher, Nathan and Noah Evans; Brooklyn Evans, Damien Dawe and most of all the light of his life Olivia Holwell; also a very special aunt Dorothy Sellars. Predeceased by her husband Ronald 1991. PIKE, Francis William (Bill) – Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness at the Caribou Veteran’s Pavilion on Saturday, September 22, Francis William Pike in his 82nd year. Bill served with the 166th Nfld Field Regiment during WWII and was a member of the Canadian Legion Branch Number 1. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Ruby (Brake); loving daughter Elizabeth (Edward) Lockyer and precious granddaughter Alexandria; also sister Ellen Roberts; brothers: James (Ruby), Mack (Ann); sisters-in-law: Bertha Butler and Hilda Pike; nieces, nephews and a large circle of other family and friends. Bill was predeceased by his parents The Honorable Frank and May Pike; also brother George and brother-in-law Stanley Roberts. CROWELL, Netta Mary (Hill, Coughlin) – Died to this life, peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s, on Monday, September 24, 2007, surrounded by her loving children: Philip, Margaret, Theresa and Rosemary. Predeceased by her parents Lewis and Vivian Hill, husband Kenneth H. Crowell and her children’s father Philip B. Coughlin.
