ANDREWS, Mabel Cecilia – Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, August 14, 2007, Mabel Cecilia Andrews, aged 85 years. Daughter of Cecil and Jane Andrews; predeceased by brother Clyde and wife Pearl; brother Eric and sister Beryl. Leaving to mourn her brother Jack; sister Madelyn; sister-in-law Beverly; a host of nieces and nephews: Patricia, Glenn, Linda, Arlene, Jeff, Wayne, Angela, Jerome, Craig, Sean, Todd, Bruce, Kirk, Erica, Kenneth, Heather, Jennifer, Patti and Karl. She will be greatly missed. CONWAY, Sarah Mary (Violet) – Beloved family of Sarah Mary (Violet) Conway, age 89 years, formerly of 99 Quidi Vidi Village, wish to announce her peaceful passing on Monday, August 13 at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home surrounded by her loving and caring family, as well as her second “special” family - all the staff and workers of the home who took such special care of her. Predeceased by her loving husband, George Conway; daughters: Helen and Geraldine; sons: Kenneth, Joseph and Donald; two special grandchildren: Joseph (J.D.), Colin and a very special and dear friend, Robert Hennebury. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories, four daughters: Joan, Sheila (Kenneth), Helen (Aiden) and Maureen (Keith); and four sons: George Jr. (Catherine), Kenneth, Joseph (Sharon) and Roy; twenty-seven grandchildren and thirty-four great-grandchildren; loving nieces and nephews and very special friend who was loved like her daughter, Angela Afonso; two sisters-in-law: Cecelia Beehan and Stella Conway, as well as her large circle of friends, especially those in Quidi Vidi. ABBOTT, Hannah (nee Burton) – Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen’s Home in Carbonear on August 12, 2007, Hannah Abbott (nee Burton) in her 98th year. Born on July 17, 1910 in Hay Cove, Long Island, Placentia Bay. Predeceased by her husband Walter Abbott (1995), her sisters: Ethel, Annie (Clem), Berkshire, Alice and Margaret (Rose) and her brother John (Enith) . Leaving to mourn her loving daughter Margaret Ayad (Nabil) with whom she resided in Bay Roberts until April of this year, and two loving and much loved grandsons: Neddal Ayad and Helme Ayad and his wife Maaike Charron; brother-in-law Robert Rose; special nieces: Joyce Wareham and Audrey Mills and special nephew Ray (Alma) Berkshire; as well as a large number of loved nieces and nephews, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Moores Funeral Home, Water Street, Bay Roberts from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14 and then from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15. Funeral service to be held at St. Matthew’s Church on Wednesday, August 15 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Matthew's Cemetery in Bay Roberts. GREEN, Jack – Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center on August 13, 2007, Jack Green, a well known Mason contractor, in his 85th year. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 63 years, Anita (nee Barbour); three children: Margaret (Walter Noel), John (Joni Burry) and Wanda (Jim Amorose); sister Elizabeth Parrott; five grandchildren: Janice, Valerie, Philip, Andrew and Amelia; and five great-grandchildren. Also special friend Ross Hann. Predeceased by his sisters: Rosanna Downey, Frances Downey and brother Malcolm (Marion) . KELLOWAY, June (nee Dwyer) – Passed peacefully away surrounded by family and friends at the Health Sciences Complex on Sunday, August 12, 2007, June Kelloway, aged 70 years. Predeceased by husband Raymond Kelloway. Leaving to mourn sons: Greg (Ann) and Murry (Audrey); daughter Sherry; cherished grandmother of Tracey, Raymond, Bronson, Melissa and Brittany; great-grandmother of Katelyn and Thomas; sisters: Patsy Earles (Gordon), Louise Aylward (Mike), Jane Bernard (Claude), Brenda Clarke (Len), Trudy Dwyer, Marilyn Leamon (Keith) and special sister Marjorie Dwyer (Derm); As well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
