Passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Center on Sunday, September 15, 2002, Dr. F. N. Daya. Leaving to mourn wife Mary (Piercey); son Roger (Jainin); daughter Nancy; brother Ariosto and sister Amelita in the Phillipines; father-in-law Harry Piercey, Grand Bank; sister-in-law Millicent Coady (Felix), Marystown; also leaving to mourn nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Passed peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on October 29, 2002, John James Ducey, aged 69 years.

Edith (Eddy) Durdle passed peacefully away at the Escasoni Complex on April 4th, 2003 aged 92 years.
Predeceased by her husband Levi in 1974 and granddaughter Jacqueline in 2002. Leaving to mourn her daughter Eleanor (Tom) Miller, Ontario; sons; Bruce, Nova Scotia and Wilbert (Patsy), St. John's; two brothers; Reg Eddy (Louie), Edmund Eddy (Viola), Little Catalina; five grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relative and friends.

Ivy Cox passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, January 14th, 2003 at the age of 89 years.

Passed peacefully away at the Escasoni Complex, on May 30th, 2002, after a long illness, Douglas A. Batten. Aged 78 years.
Leaving to mourn his sisters Betty Scott (husband Scottie), their daughter Gloria and granddaughter Kristin; Madge McDonald, Joan Branton and Marg Brocklehurst; brothers Robert (Clara) and Edward of Toronto; special nephew Allen; as well as a number of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, Leonard A. Miller Centre, on Saturday, September 14th, 2002, Lloyd James Bishop, in his 67th year.
Predeceased by his wife Flora 1978, his mother Emma 1982 and son David 2000.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories one daughter Carol Tucker (husband Peter) with whom he resided; two sons William and Tim; two precious grandchildren Tiffany Tucker and Shannon Scott; two sisters Doris Cooney, St. John’s and Ruby Tizzard, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; very special friend Roy Flemming; as well as a number of other relatives and friends.
