STONE, Ethel “Eileen” (nee Hewitt) – Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex on Friday, February 29, 2008. Eileen Stone aged 86 years. Predeceased by her husband: Henry William Stone; son: Gordon; brother: Harvey. Left to mourn with loving memories are her son: Harry (Pat); granddaughter: Kelly (Steve); grandson: Brad (Cindy); great-grandsons: Corbin, Riley and Evan; sister: Marie Duvall; sister-in-law: Peg Ploughman; brother-in-law: Doyle Stone (Emily); special cousin: Geraldine Bailey; sisters-in-law: Ivy Stone and Ruth Hewitt as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends, including the staff and residents of Hoyles North 1. BENNETT, Agnes – It is with great sadness that the family of the late Agnes Bennett announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, January 31, 2008, at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her daughter, Paula Huntley (Eugene); son, Paul O’Brien (Michelle) and very special grandson, Daniel; step-children: Corey Power (Roger), Linda Button (Wayne) and Brendan Bennett (Eva); sister, Irene Chaulk; brothers: Joe Parsons (Brada), Wilfred Parsons (Gertrude) and John Parsons (Betty); and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband, Walter O’Brien; her second husband, Frank Bennett; parents, Mary and John Parsons; sister, Cecile Follett; and brother, Jim Parsons. O’BRIEN, Margaret Patricia (nee Donahue) – of St. John’s. Passed away peacefully at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on January 31, 2008 at the age of 93 years. Daughter of the late Dr. Hugh Donahue and Mrs. Ethel Donahue; sister of the late Frances (John) Bindon and Jimmy (Jeanne) Donahue. Predeceased by her husband Frank (1998) and by members of her extended family from St. John’s and Cape Broyle. Left with fond memories are her sons Brian (Janet Gillespie) and Sean (Deb O’Brien), and her beloved grandchildren Michael, Julie, Tim and Katie O’Brien. Also mourning her passing are Sara and Rhonda Wood, her brothers and sisters-in-law, and her nieces and nephews in the Donahue, Keough, O’Brien, Glazebrook, Boland and Dyer families; and her dear friends in the Elizabeth Towers and St. Pius X communities.
