Stanley Haynes - Stanley Haynes passed away suddenly in Saint John, New Brunswick on Saturday, July 26, 2003, Stanley Haynes formerly of St. John's age 49 years.
Leaving to mourn his two sons; Scott (Vanessa), Tim, New Brunswick, his sons mother, Patricia Bradley, three grandchildren; Leah, Brandi and Shirvauna, his parent's Stanley and Dorothy, brother's; Wayne (Brenda), Frank (Andrea), Eugene, Kenneth, Edmonton, AB, Max (Vidi), Ontario, David (Tonya), his Sister's: Sharon (Bob Starring), Ontario, Roxanne (Paul Renzo), NB, Joan (Matthew Harding), special friend Cathy Mahoney, NB, his special Aunt and uncle Patricia and Robert Wiseman, NB, his grandmother Hannah Button, NB as well as nieces, nephews, family and friends.

BELLOWS, William John – August 4th, 1948 - February 18th, 2007. Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family after a courageous battle with cancer at the L.A. Miller Centre. John bellows, age 58 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Loretta (nee Dillon); loving son and best friend John, special loved person Donna Mercer. Predeceased by his father Earl and uncle Ralph. Will be sadly missed by his loving mother Florence; brother Pastor Bob (Debbie); sisters Dolly Hall (Dave), Grace Peet (Bill), Debbie Windsor (Wayne) and Rose Hood; brothers-in-law and best friends Fergus Dillon (Ruby), Betty Pope (Mike), Tom Dillon (Glendine) . Predeceased by sister-in-law Marg Pope (Frank) and brothers-in-law Jack (Hilda), Gerald, Frank, Harold, and Patrick Dillon. Leaving to mourn numerous nephews and nieces. BUTLER, William Percy – February 11, 1922 - February 18, 2007, Bonavista, NL. It is with great sadness that the family of Percy Butler announce his passing at the Bonavista Peninsula Hospital after a brief illness, at the age of 85 years. He will be missed by his wife Fannie, sons Max (Sandra), Bob (Bonnie), and Glenn (Ferna - deceased) . Six grandchildren: Geoff (Paula), Scott, Brad (Michelle), Stephen (Alison), Julie (Keith) and Bryan. Three great-grandchildren: Kaileigh, Stephan and Adrianna. Resting at Strathie’s Funeral Home with Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 from the Memorial United Church, Bonavista. GIBBONS, Gus – Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, after a brief illness, on February 17, 2007, Gus Gibbons, age 60. Leaving to mourn: his wife Margaret; children Peggy, Stephen (Paula Coady), and Sean; sister Helen (Mike) Squires; nieces Judy (Wayne) Downton, and Michelle Squires (Randy Davis); nephew Hilary (Jeanette) Squires; sisters-in-law Rosemary (Mike) Gatherall, Marjorie Puddister, Anne-Marie (David) Maywood, and Jeannette (Gordon) Nagle; brother-in-law Stephen (Bridie) Gatherall; and many other relatives and friends. Gus will be lovingly remembered by his students from both Newfoundland and Ontario as a gifted teacher with a sincere and enduring interest in their well-being and accomplishments. HURLEY, Roy Francis – Age 59, Suddenly on February 16, 2007, Roy passed at his residence. He left one surviving brother, Gordon Hurley, also nephews Brian and Rodney, one niece Lisa White and Aunt Anne. He was predeceased by his mother Irene, his father Gordon and sisters Eileen and Yvonne. He will be missed by his friends at Powerlite and his neighbours. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
MOORES, May – Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Sunday, February 18, 2007, May Moores age 96 years. Predeceased by her husband Francis, 1995; and sister Elsie Diamond. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her daughter Elsie Rideout (Don); grandchildren: Geoffrey Rideout (Carolyn) of St. John’s and Karen Rideout of Vancouver; one great granddaughter Sophie Rideout, who was born on Sunday, February 18, 2007; also leaving to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. NASH, Edwin (Ned) – Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Saturday, February 17, 2007 in the presence of his loving and devoted family, Edwin (Ned) Nash aged 93 years, formerly of Pass Island, Hermitage Bay. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 63 years, Caroline (nee Rideout); five sons: Tom (Jean), Ed (June), Bert (Linda), Gordon (Sandra) and Ross (Michele); loving daughter Ann (Andre); thirteen grandchildren: Renee, Jennifer, Jill, Sara, Rebecca, Jessica, Gordon, Michael, Paula, Jason, Billy, Spencer and Julien; four great-grandchildren: Amber, Jacob, Garrett and Carter; two sisters: Ada Organ, Dartmouth, NS and Mary Roberts, Fortune, NL; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and very good friends too numerous to mention. A special thank you to the staff of St. Patrick’s for their care and compassion shown to Ned and his family over the past week.
