DOHEY, Agatha - Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Care Centre, age 82 years. Predeceased by her two brothers: Alfred and Charlie; and two sisters: Ellen and Mamie. Leaving to mourn two sisters: Gertrude O`Keefe, Placentia and Bridie, St. Brides; two nephews: Dermot and Reg O`Keefe. Resting at the church in St. Brides on Tuesday and Wednesday followed by Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at R.C. cemetery, St. Brides. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Manning`s Funeral Service, St. Brides.

WHITE, Nathaniel - Surrounded by the love of his family, and all the angels from heaven above, Nathaniel E. (Nath) age 74 of Torbay, after a courageous battle with cancer, went to join his son James who predeceased him on November 24, 2002. Also predeceased by his parents Harry and Emma White, brothers Richard, Stanley, and Henry Jr. Left with cherished memories his loving and devoted wife of 50 years Flo (Seward), his son Barrie (Carol), daughter Roxanne Waterman (Paul) and daughter-in-law Sue. Also leaving to mourn are his grandchildren Gina Budgell (Todd), Natalie White, Dawn White (fiance Fred Rose), Ross (Wanda), Steven, Matthew, and Ryan White and Kay and Aaron Waterman. His great-grandchildren Madison and Brett Budgell, Luke Chatman, Kennedy and Riley Rose, Noah White. Also leaving to mourn his brother Arthur White, sister Pearl Codner, sisters-in-law Josephine White, Mary White, Velma Rodgers, Myrtis Champlin (Fred), Elsie Green (Gary), Joan Pike (Wayne) brother-in-law Wilson Seward (Marion), mother-in-law Phoebe Seward and a special nephew Eric White as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul`s Funeral Home, Torbay Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, August 6, 2003, at 11 a.m. from St. Nicholas` Anglican Church, Torbay. Interment to follow at St. Nicholas Anglican cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory can be made to the St. Nicholas Memorial Fund.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Rita O`Rourke; husband Gordon; son Ronnie, sisters: Mary, Toni and Lorraine; brother Patrick. Leaving to mourn six sons: Patrick, Gerald, Walter, Paul, Jason and Harold; four daughters: Gertie, Patricia, Kimberly and Sharon; three brothers: Robert (Barb), David (Carol Ann) and Dan (Geraldine); two sisters: Irene (Ron), Patsy (Calvin); 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; 10 nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Pendergast`s Funeral Home. Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 4, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michael`s Church. Interment in the Roman Catholic cemetery, Bell Island.

POWELL, Margeurite (nee Wiseman) - Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex on January 25, 2003 in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband, Thomas, May 15, 1974 and her son John, July 2002. Leaving to mourn four daughters, Carol Fleming (Basil); Judy Byrd (Ed); Jeanette Windsor (Frank), Dolores Palfrey, three sons Rodger (Beverly); Donald (Christine) and Brian. Twenty-five grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one special great-granddaughter, Olivia Powell. One brother-in-law, Charles Powell and wife Mary, two sisters-in-law Mrs. Elizabeth Kean and Marg Powell, many nieces, nephews and friends. Especially the staff of 2 North and 3 West of the Escasoni Complex where she received such tender-loving care. Resting at Caul`s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Sunday 7 p.m.- 10 p.m., Monday and Tuesday 10 a.m.- 10 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, January 29th, 2003, at 11 a.m. from the Basilica. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one`s choice.

COLFORD, Elizabeth Lorraine - passed away suddenly at her home in Iqualit, Nunavut on March 22nd, 2003, Elizabeth Lorraine Colford (Penney), 61 years. Predeceased by her father Sylvester (Wes) Penney, January 1978. Leaving to mourn her loving family, her husband of 39 years, James (Gus); daughter Elizabeth, Iqualit; son Gerard, Dartmouth, N.S.; granddaughters: Jessica and Emily, Dartmouth, N.S.; her mother, Madallen Penney, St. John`s; her sister Patricia Janes, Holyrood; brothers and sisters-in-law; other relatives and friends of the Penney and Colford families. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass will be held at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road, St. John`s, April 4th at 9:30 a.m.

Special thanks to all staff of 4-North B, Health Sciences Centre and Palliative Care, St. Clare`s Mercy Hospital, for their professionalism, kindness and tremendous support. GREEN, Emily (Cake) nee Foote - Entered into eternal rest on October 1, 2001 with her three daughters at her side, Emily Green in her 98th year of Upper Gullies, formerly of Lamaline - daughter of Joseph and Dinah Foote. Predeceased by husband Gilbert Cake and Linus Green, son George Cake and daughter Stella Elford. Left with cherished memories daughters: Joan (Len Vallis) Halifax, Ruth (Alfred Crews) Upper Gullies and Barbara ( Merv Rideout) Upper Gullies; daughter-in-law Edna Cake, Fortune; brothers: Fred Foote (Edith) St. John`s, Max Foote (Lucy) Kelligrews; brother-in-law Ben Green, Fortune. Nanny will be fondly remembered by her twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; also left with many happy memories, several nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. Resting at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews. Visitation Wednesday 10-12 noon, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Thursday 10-12 noon. Funeral service Thursday at 2 p.m. from St. Peter`s Church, Upper Gullies. Interment at the Anglican cemetery, Upper Gullies. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Peter`s Church Memorial Fund or St. Mary`s Church cemetery Fund, Lamaline or to a charity of one`s choice. She was loved, respected and valued by those whose path she crossed. She was a woman who loved life and her family. She will live in our hearts forever.

Predeceased by her husband Eric in 1995. Leaving to mourn sons: Ralph (Carmel), Mt. Pearl and devoted son Eric, with whom she resided; two daughters: Elizabeth Lamb (Jerry) and Diana Daley (Neil), all of Florida; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters: Evelyn O`Halligan, St. John`s and Stella Gamber, Pennsylvania; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place at Mildred`s request. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at The Carnell Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Rd., on Thursday, October 4, 2001 at 11 a.m.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are one brother Thomas (Josephine), St. John`s; sisters-in-law: Maude Bussey, Port de Grave, Florence Moore, Clarke`s Beach, Cassie Clarke, St. John`s and brother-in-law Harris (Mary) Moore, Malden, Mass. Also a number of nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. Resting at Moore`s Funeral Home, Clarke`s Beach. Funeral service to take place from the Pentecostal Church, Clarke`s Beach, at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2001, with interment at the Pentecostal cemetery.
