LEWIS, Anastasia (Nee English) - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearest mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex, December 3, 2003, age 93 years. Predeceased by her husband, Fred, Jan. 1999. Leaving to mourn three daughters: Shirley (Hector), Marjorie (Kevin) and Eleanor (David) with whom she resided; three sons: Reginald (Helen), Roland (Marilyn) and Paul (Loretta); also leaving behind her long time friend, Gertie Snelgrove; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. DROVER, Malcolm A. (Mac) - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare`s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, June 2, 2002, aged 70 years. Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Winnie Drover; sister Shirley Ryan; and brother Ernie Drover. Leaving to mourn, his wife Betty (Cross); daughter Susan Foster (Gene) of Minnesota; son Robert (fiancee Stephanie) of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Carla, Jonathan and Pamela Foster and Matthew Drover; sisters, Pat Robertson (Art) and Betty Williams; brother Fred (Sheila); sisters-in-law, Marilyn Bartlett and Roberta Phillips (Gerald) in Great Britain; and a number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving friends at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. RAYMENT, Peggy Edith (nee Dawson) - November 20, 1921-May 28, 2002. Peggy passed away peacefully at Salem Manor in Leduc, Alta. She was born in Calgary, and during the war worked in Ottawa and then moved to Edmonton, where she met and married
Fred Rayment. They lived for five years in Lethbridge, Alta. and then moved to St. John`s, Nfld. where they spent 38 years and finally they retired to Leduc in 1994. Peggy was a long time supporter and member of the Unitarian Service Committee in St. John`s. Peggy is survived by her husband and two sons, Michael and David; also by her sister Evelyn Bye (Marshall); grandnephew Justin Kohls; her niece Carol Elias (John) and their children; her brother Gerald (Jennie) and their son Geoffry (Jill) and family and daughter Lori. Peggy will also be missed by members of her husband`s family, Joyce Vandermeer, Hugh (Elsie), Ken (Audrey), Tom (Shirl), Fay Borg (Alan) and their respective families. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul`s Anglican Church, 4416 - 50th Street, Leduc, Alta. on Tuesday, June 4, at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, any donations should be made to the Alzheimer`s Society.
