LEWIS, Anastasia (Nee English) - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearest mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex, December 3, 2003, age 93 years. Predeceased by her husband, Fred, Jan. 1999. Leaving to mourn three daughters: Shirley (Hector), Marjorie (Kevin) and Eleanor (David) with whom she resided; three sons: Reginald (Helen), Roland (Marilyn) and Paul (Loretta); also leaving behind her long time friend, Gertie Snelgrove; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Resting at Grace United Church, Grates Cove. Funeral, Saturday, December 6, 2:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made payable to Grace United Church, Grates Cove.

Predeceased by husband Harold Andrews, 1959 and brothers: Az (Margaret) Dawe, Fred (Minnie) Dawe and Hubert Dawe. Leaving to mourn sons: Reginald (Nina) of Dunville, Fred (Shirley) of Bay Roberts, Bill (Doreen) of Oshawa, Gordon (Judy) of Springdale, Phillip (Mary) of Upper Island Cove, Willard (Debbie) of South River, Bert (Brenda) of Bay Roberts; daughters: Ruby Casey (Charles- deceased) of Toronto, Lorraine Boone (Fred) of Mount Pearl; sister-in-law Marguerite Jester of New Hampshire; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore`s Funeral Home, Clarke`s Beach. Predeceased by father Michael, mother Myrtis, sister Bridget, father-in-law Malcom Warren, mother-in-law Susannah, brother-in-law Malcom Jr. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Emily, son, Douglas (Patricia), daughter Marina Squires (Paul), son Kevin, son Christopher (Michelle). Grandchildren Jackie, Ryan, Crystal, Melissa, Michael, Christopher. Great-grandchildren Kyle and Dustin. Also leaving to mourn his brothers and sisters, John (Barbara) Ontario, Robert, Mike (Lucy), Kevin (Jennette) of St. John`s, Gerry (Gloria) Ontario, Margaret Bennett (John). Also leaving to mourn his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family members and a large circle of special friends. DROVER, Malcolm A. (Mac) - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare`s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, June 2, 2002, aged 70 years. Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Winnie Drover; sister Shirley Ryan; and brother Ernie Drover. Leaving to mourn, his wife Betty (Cross); daughter Susan Foster (Gene) of Minnesota; son Robert (fiancee Stephanie) of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Carla, Jonathan and Pamela Foster and Matthew Drover; sisters, Pat Robertson (Art) and Betty Williams; brother Fred (Sheila); sisters-in-law, Marilyn Bartlett and Roberta Phillips (Gerald) in Great Britain; and a number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving friends at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Anglican Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Craigmillar Avenue. Inurnment at the Anglican cemetery, Kenmount Road. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Clinic.

RAYMENT, Peggy Edith (nee Dawson) - November 20, 1921-May 28, 2002. Peggy passed away peacefully at Salem Manor in Leduc, Alta. She was born in Calgary, and during the war worked in Ottawa and then moved to Edmonton, where she met and married Fred Rayment. They lived for five years in Lethbridge, Alta. and then moved to St. John`s, Nfld. where they spent 38 years and finally they retired to Leduc in 1994. Peggy was a long time supporter and member of the Unitarian Service Committee in St. John`s. Peggy is survived by her husband and two sons, Michael and David; also by her sister Evelyn Bye (Marshall); grandnephew Justin Kohls; her niece Carol Elias (John) and their children; her brother Gerald (Jennie) and their son Geoffry (Jill) and family and daughter Lori. Peggy will also be missed by members of her husband`s family, Joyce Vandermeer, Hugh (Elsie), Ken (Audrey), Tom (Shirl), Fay Borg (Alan) and their respective families. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul`s Anglican Church, 4416 - 50th Street, Leduc, Alta. on Tuesday, June 4, at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, any donations should be made to the Alzheimer`s Society.

Resting at Caul`s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation Monday 12 noon-9 p.m., and Tuesday 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Funeral Mass Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at 11 a.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Church. Retired Metrobus driver and past honorary vice-president of the Benevolent Irish Society. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife of 40 years, Mary (nee Lawlor); three sons, Neil (Darlene), Andrew (Karen), and Jody (Heather); three precious grandsons, Jordan, Christian, and Ben; one darling granddaughter, Alicia; three sisters, Bernadette (Richard Moores), Madonna (Cec Gosse) and Imelda; two brothers, Charlie and Francis; mother-in-law Isabel Lawlor; two sisters-in-law, Rita (Lew Pearce), Agnes (Ross Poole); and one brother-in-law, Peter Lawlor (Esther). Also 'Special Little Buddies' Paul and Alex Holly. Also mourning his loss a large circle of friends and relatives, especially life long friend Wilfred O`Driscoll. Leaving to mourn his wife Betty (Rodgers); his children, Sharon Corcoran (John), Bill (Carol), Tony (Sherri), Connie and Michelle; daughter-in-law Trudy Ryan; sisters, Marion Carroll, Annie Foley, and Marg Walters (Gus); brothers-in-law, Bob Rodgers, and Bill Walters; and sister-in-law Jean Bastow (John); grandchildren, B.J., Frankie, Ryan, Christopher, and Justin.
