WINTER, Hon. Gordon O.C., LL.D, 1912 - 2003- passed away at home on August 1, 2003, Gordon A. Winter. Predeceased by his daughter Valda Tiller in 2001. Left to mourn their loss but thankful for many happy memories of his long life his loving wife of 65 years, Millicent (Bump); his daughter: Linda Barrett (David); his grandchildren: Valerie Hodder (Craig), Keith Barrett (Dianne Penney), Toronto, ON, Ian Barrett (Genevieve Zoskey), Calgary, AB, Lesley Smith (Alex), Corner Brook and Jennifer Harding (Dan), Burlingame, CA.; his seven great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Dr. William Tiller (Susan Harris); sister, Barbara Strang, Victoria, B.C.; sisters-in-law: Phyllis Winter, Mett Winter and Florence Rusted (Dr. Nigel). WARD, Christa Leigh - Died tragically early Friday morning May 31, 2002, Christa Leigh Ward of Portugal Cove South aged 21 years. GILLETT, Ada (nee Ackerman) - Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick`s Mercy Home on Thursday, February 05, 2004, in the presence of her loving family, Ada Gillett age 91 years. Predeceased by her husband Maxwell; brother Caleb Ackerman and sister Gertrude March. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters: Barbara Hinchey (Morgan) and Dorothy Munroe (Russell), Halifax; sons: Douglas (Judith), Halifax and David (Marcella) and a very special great-granddaughter Alison Hinchey, as well as her loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
