He was an active member of Digby United Baptist Church; member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 20; Kings Soloman Masonic Lodge, and active member of Digby Historical Society, Digby Horticultural Society, Digby Tree Committee and Digby Hospice Society. Surviving are sister, Jean MacMillan, Digby; two nieces; four nephews; several grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by brother, G. Robert. MULLEN, Reginald "Reg" - 89, Nepean, formerly of Halifax, died September 11, 1999, in Ottawa. Born in Riverdale, Digby Co., he was a son of the late David and Sarah (Sabean) Mullen. Prior to moving to Ontario he was a resident of Northwood Manor and was a member of the Residents Association. He will also be fondly remembered by friends at the Starwood Nursing Home. He was dear father of Jean Laprade (Paul) and Edward (Helen) and loving grandfather of Andrew, Stephanie, Michael and Shelly. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Bridget Marie Boutilier, two brothers and a sister. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Halifax and where funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

WISEMAN, G. Gregory "Greg" - 44, Digby, died May 3, 2000. Born in Glace Bay, he was a son of Mary (MacIntyre) and the late John William Wiseman. He was employed for over 24 years with the Department of Social Services, Province of Nova Scotia and he worked in Sydney, Port Hawkesbury, Guysborough, Digby and Kentville. He was a graduate of St. Michael's High School, Glace Bay, St. F.X. University and Dalhousie University. Surviving are his wife, the former Lee Churchill; daughter, Sarah Catherine; brothers, William, Sydney; James, Upper Marlborough, Md.; Donald, Glace Bay; sisters, Theresa Gertrude, Nutter, Raleigh, N.C., Betty Doucette, Riverview, N.B.; Joan Gillis, Antigonish; June Thomas, Dartmouth. He was predeceased by brother, John Joseph "Bob". There will be no visitation. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated in St. Anne's Church, 10 a.m. Monday, Rev. Doug Murphy officiating.
