The community was shocked on Wednesday when the news was brought of the death of Gideon Langille. Mr. Langille was in his usual health, but was taken seriously ill on Monday evening on his return from spending the day in Bridgewater. All that was possible in medical skill and care proved of no
avail and his death took place Wednesday. Mr. Langille was a good neighbour- kind hearted and respected by everyone who knew him. He leaves to mourn their loss a sorrowing wife; one son, Norman of the Canadian West; and two daughters, Rebecca of Boston and Edythe, at home. Our deepest sympathy is extended to them. The funeral service was conducted Saturday morning by Rev. E.A. Harris of Mahone Bay.
