John quietly cared for others when help was needed and he brightened the day for many with his smiles and laughter. John worked in the insurance business for over 50 years. A true hockey ‘nut’, he dragged kids and gear all over the country, especially loving his hockey years with his now gone buddies Mackie, Campy and Porky. John, with his wife Evelyn, worked hard to ensure his six children had a good education and a good start in life and we thank Dad so much for his dedication and commitment to our family. We will miss his beautiful brown eyes but are so thankful for his 85 years. We thank the Cove staff and volunteers for providing a wonderful home for John for the past five years and for their compassion during his passing. A gathering will be held at S.W.
