passed away suddenly and peacefully at his residence in Edmonton, Alberta on Sunday February 7, 2010. John was born 70 years ago at R.R. # 1 Milverton and was the son of the late John S. & Annie (Gerber) Gascho. John was formerly of Milverton where he was employed at Millbank Cheese and Butter and Silverwoods Dairies in Kitchener. John moved with his family in 1973 to Regina, SK. where he was a long haul truck driver.
Survived by his spouse Ellanore Turner of Edmonton, AB. Sadly missed by his daughter Angie & Rob Moore and their children Karlee and Kyle of Saskatoon, SK., sons Daren & Joan Gascho & their children Sara, Mike and Tim of Raymore, SK., Kevin & Glenda Gascho & their children Joshua and Jessica of Yorkton, SK.. Dear brother of Norma & Mahlon Bast of Lively, Edith & Earl Wagler of Millbank. Missed by sisters-in-law Anna Mae Gascho of Brunner, Mary Gascho of Milverton, Doris Gascho of Waterloo, brother-in-law Albert Leis of Stratford and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. John was predeceased by Dianne (Yost) Gascho (2007), brothers Allan Gascho (2005), Mervin Gascho (1999), Ivan Gascho (2006) and sister-in-law Sandra Leis (2004).
In keeping with John’s wishes, his body has been donated for medical research. Interment to follow at a later date.
Eichmann, John J.

Went to be with the Lord on Friday January 29, 2010 at his residence Royal Terrace, Palmerston in his 81st year. John was born in Lychen, Germany and emigrated to British Columbia where he worked for a lumber mill. He was converted after receiving and reading the gospel, of St. John. He moved to Kitchener-Waterloo area and had a passion for handing out Christian literature to many in the area, so others could experience the same salvation he felt through the precious blood of Jesus.
John attended a number of Mennonite churches in the area and had also attended Central Baptist Church in Kitchener. John will be remembered by the Eugene Martin and Robert Bauman families and the many friends he met while travelling.

The funeral service will take place on Tuesday February 2, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Brookside Mennonite Church, Carthage with the Brookside Ministry officiating. Interment to follow in Brookside Mennonite cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christian Aid Ministries.

passed away on Saturday January 23, 2010 at Stratford General Hospital. Steve resided in Milverton and was born 59 years ago in Orangeville.
Beloved husband of the late Tannis Morrison who predeceased him May 20, 2006. Dear father of Peter Morrison of Kitchener, Tim & Cherie Morrison of Barrie, Terah Jane Logan of California. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Dale, Richard, Joshua, Rachel, Hailey and Dakota.
Steve was a member of St. Paul’s United Church where he served on the stewardship committee.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday January 27, 2010 at 1:13 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Church with Pastor Chris Beaumont officiating. passed away suddenly on Sunday December 13, 2009 at Stratford General Hospital. Mel resided at R.R. # 1 Newton and was born 65 years ago in Mornington Township. He was the son of the late Henry & Frances (Zehr) Herrfort.
Beloved husband of Marlene (Roth) Herrfort with whom he celebrated 44 years of marriage. Loving father of Sherri & husband Bill Anger of Millbank, Sheila & husband Cory Lucas of St. Marys, Alecia & husband Andrew Henderson of Wellesley, Amanda Herrfort at home & friend Matt McCann. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Adam, Alyssa, Drew, Rhett, Erin, Jack, Colton and Rowan. Also remembered by his sister Barbara & husband John Nafziger of Newton, mother-in-law Barbara Roth of Milverton sisters-in-law Berenice Herrfort of Listowel, Bernice & husband Roy Steckley of Neustadt, Carol Roth, Janice & husband Larry Kropf all of Milverton. Mel was predeceased by his sister Mildred & husband David Roes, brothers Sam, Allan and William in infancy and father-in-law Elmer Roth.
Mel was a faithful member of Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank. He was an active member of the Millbank community where he was the owner of Anna Maes Restaurant and former owner of Herrfort Equipment. Mel served as treasurer for the Gospel Express Ministries and served on the board of Millbank Cheese & Cold Storage and the Millbank Business Association.

passed away on Tuesday October 27, 2009 at Stratford General Hospital. Ellen was residing at Country Meadows in Brunner and was formerly of Milverton. She was born 84 years ago in Stratford and was the daughter of the late Frederick & Esther (Bald) Harloff.
Beloved wife of the late Roy Malcho who predeceased her March 16, 2003. Loving mother of Elaine (Barry) Dietz of Mitchell, Donna (Bill) Quipp of R.R. # 1 Monkton, Joyce (David) Eidt of Mitchell, Shirley (Gary) Player of Stratford and Audrey (John) Nicholson of Milverton. Sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Remembered by her brother Robert (Audrey) Harloff of Mitchell, sister-in-law Gertie Schellenberger of Stratford. Ellen was predeceased by a great-grandson, sister Edith (Carl) Priestap, brothers-in-law Albert Malcho, Harold Malcho, Howard Schellenberger, sisters-in-law Elsie (Alvin) Rohfritsch, Clara (Arthur) Wickie and Melinda (Gordon) Hartung.

passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday October 24, 2009 at Spruce Lodge, Stratford. Edith was formerly of Milverton. She was born 96 years ago in East Prussia, Germany and was the daughter of the late Frederick & Emilie (Nauditt) Wagner.
Beloved wife of the late Walter Glitz who predeceased her March 27, 1998. Loving mother of Roland Glitz of Hamilton, Ursula & husband Grant Denstedt of Stratford, Janine & husband Paul Danowski of Ingersoll. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Sean & Karen Glitz, Anthony & Anita Glitz, Brian & Shannon Glitz, Amelia & Travis Baier, Scott Glitz, Curtis Denstedt & friend Jill, Graham & Amy Denstedt, Matt Exel, Pam Danowski, Laura Danowski, Michael Danowski and great-grandchildren Justin, Jasmin, Kalia, Nathan, Logan Gavin, Brady, Connor and Nolan. Also remembered by nephews and cousins in Germany and the United States.
Edith was predeceased by son Uwe Peter, daughter Jutta Maria and sister Irene Henning.
Edith was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Milverton. Edith assisted her husband as bookkeeper for the Walter Glitz Cheese Company for many years.

Beloved wife of the late Osmond Lines whom predeceased her February 14, 2003. Loving mother of Robert & Carol Lines of Millbank and Garry & Pat Lines of Milverton. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Shelley & Kevin Beggs, Kelli & Jeff Marshall, Todd & Denise Lines, Trevor Lines & Becky Hastings, Craig Lines, Cory Lines, Wanda Leis and Scott Leis and her 5 great-grandchildren. Missed by her sister Annie Cleland of Listowel, sisters-in-law Isabel Acheson and Mildred Acheson. Also remembered by Larry & Mary Lou Leis. Helen was predeceased by her daughter Linda Leis on May 3, 1991, brothers Melvin & Julie Acheson, Howard Acheson and Jim Acheson.

Beloved husband of the late Mary (Vaudner) Morrison whom predeceased him in 1996. Dear father of Katherine Morrison of Toronto, Ray & Dorothy Morrison of Keswick, Bruce Morrison of Yatton, Wayne & Esther Morrison of Millbank, Barb Bowman & Rick MacLean of Waterloo and Peggy Morrison of Kitchener. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Donnie, Geoff, Michelle, William, Raymond, Michael, Andy, Amy, Martin and Kyra, and his 8 great-grandchildren. Also remembered by his sisters Eleanor Robinson of Dunnville, Eileen Feehan of Sarnia, Thelma Ferguson and Peggy Keenan both of London. Surgeoner, Donna Lee

Of Bayfield and formerly of Listowel, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family. On Saturday October 3, 2009 at Stratford General Hospital, Donna Lee, cherished wife of Ron for 27 years and proud mother of Maralee (fiancee Alex) of Atwood and Patrick at home. Daughter of the late Grey and Margaret Anderson. “Bobby” was a sister to Jerry (Barb), Rick (Renata) and Jim (Deborah). She will be missed by her 12 nieces and nephews. Donna was an energetic, vibrant and dedicated Registered Nurse and will be dearly missed in the geriatric and long-term care community, especially so by residents and staff of Dearness Home in London where Donna was the Director of Resident Care.
Special thanks to all of Donna’s many friends in their kind wishes and generous support during her battle with cancer and her final weeks of life.
A memorial service to celebrate Donna’s life will take place on Friday October 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Listowel Evangelical Missionary Church, 1205 Termaine Street, South, Listowel.
