passed away on Friday February 13, 2009 at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton. Paul was born 80 years ago, a son of the late Louis & Anna (Bahn) Nowack. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Milverton.
Devoted husband of the late Loretta Jean (Gaunt) Nowack who predeceased him February 9, 1994. Beloved father of Lee & Pat Nowack of RR#2 Monkton, Barbara Boyd of Australia, Sharon Bledsoe of Stratford, Kim Nowack of Milverton, Roger & Joan Nowack of Nepean, and step-father of Shirley & Wayne Smith of RR#1 Sebringville, Marilyn & Ernie Harvey of Kitchener, Mary Louise & Greg Colley of Petrolia, Tom & Sandra Gaunt of R.R. # 5 Stratford, and Arnie & Susan Gaunt of Milverton. Sadly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren. Also remembered by dear friend Ada Gropp of Milverton. Predeceased by brother Roy Nowack, and sister Wanda & Owen Fleming.

Herman, Barbara

passed away on Friday January 30, 2009 at Stratford General Hospital. Barbara resided in Milverton and was born 75 years ago in Stratford. She was the daughter of the late John & Eliza (Cox) Cannon.
Beloved wife of Harold Herman whom she married July 6, 1957. Loving mother of Karen & husband Sam Fallico of Australia, Stephen & wife Heather Herman, Leanne & husband Paul Landers all of Milverton. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jessica, Tim, Grace, Meghan and Graeme. Remembered by a number of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Barbara was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Milverton. Barbara taught elementary school for many years and served for 22 years on the Perth County School Board of Education.
In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Barbara’s life will take place on Saturday February 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Milverton with Pastor Robert Hutchison officiating. Kuepfer, Mervin Laverne

Peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2009 at St Marys General Hospital, Kitchener, Mervin Kuepfer of Kitchener. He was born in Listowel, 52 years ago a son of the late Noah & Cora (Wagler) Kuepfer. Mervin was formerly of R R 4, Listowel, Stratford and Elmira where he worked at ARC Industries. He had attended the Morningview Amish Mennonite Church, R. R. # 1, Newton.
Lovingly remembered by a number of aunts, uncles & cousins. Mervin was also predeceased by his maternal grandparents Solomon & Fannie Wagler, his paternal grandparents Amos & Mary Kuepfer.
Friends & relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer St., Milverton today, Wednesday, January 28, 2009, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. On Thursday, January 29, 2009 a family service will be held at 12:00 noon followed by the funeral service at Morningview Amish Mennonite Church at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Ken Kuepfer officiating. passed away peacefully at her residence R.R. # 2 Palmerston on Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Marilyn was born 34 years ago in Exeter. Loving daughter of Harold & Donna (Bender) Good of Listowel.
Beloved wife of Brian Bowman whom she married June 14, 1997. Devoted mother of Rosalie, Sherry and Derek all at home. Dear sister of Roger & Karen Good of Aylmer, Murray & Marilyn Good of Gowanstown, Delphine & Rob Bowman (brother of Brian) of Moorefield, Daryl & Tina Good of Aylmer, Carl & Shana Good of Listowel and Ron Good & fiancé Chrstine Sohm of Listowel. Sadly missed by her maternal grandparents Merlin & Erma Bender of Hensall, father-in-law and mother-in-law Alvin & Elmeda Bowman of Gowanstown and sister-in-law Marlene & Carl Bauman of Bancroft. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Marilyn was predeceased by a niece Charlene Good and paternal grandparents Aaron & Mary Good.
Marilyn was a member of Brookside Conservative Mennonite Church, Carthage.

On Monday January 12, 2009 at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Harriston. Doreen was born 81 years ago on 20 August 1927, in Milverton. She was the daughter of the late Charles & Lucille (Attridge) Dahms.
Sadly missed by her children Warren & wife Edie Fink of Mount Forest, Judi Fink (predeceased in 1992). Also remembered by grandchildren, Tyler Fink & fiancé Shannon MacDonald of Winnipeg, Katie, Kevin and Mike Fink of Guelph. Dear sister-in-law of Kathleen & husband Bert Currie of Baden, Helen (Dolly) Dahms of Kitchener and Kay Dahms of Elmira.
Doreen was predeceased by her husband Edmund (Ed) Seguin and former husband Austin (Aussie) Fink, sisters and brothers Muriel & Charlie Cudmore, Gordon Dahms, Stan Dahms, Bernice & Oscar Schneuker, Winnifred & Delton Bast, George Dahms, Teddy & Don Smith.

Resident of Country Meadows, Brunner, passed away at Stratford General Hospital on December 29, 2008. Loving mother of Garry (Rosemary) Neuman of Waterloo, Raymond (Marlene) Neuman of Rochester Hills, MI. Sadly missed by her 6 grandchildren and her 8 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husbands Fred Neuman (1973) and Norman Kauffeldt (1993), her daughter Carolyn Snell & her husband Ronald Snell and sister Myrtle Junop.
Born in Saskatchewan in 1917 where she and her sister survived the plague of 1918 that took both her parents ( Harry and Minnie Weber) and then was raised by her grandparents in Letterkenny, Ontario. After living in Pembroke for nearly 60 years, she moved to Waterloo. Always faithful to her church, Zion Evangelical United in Pembroke and Zion United in Kitchener.
A celebration of Ethel’s life will be held at Zion United Church, 32 Weber St., Kitchener on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Charlotte Moore officiating. Beloved husband of Laureen (Steckly) Walters to whom he was married 43 years. Dear father of Howard J. & Carol Walters of Kitchener, James & Becky Walters of London, Pete Walters of Whitby, Tony & Sheri Walters of Perth, Vera & Dan Wakutz of Kitchener, Martha Walters of London, Michael Walters of R.R. # 2 Atwood, Mary & Mark Barkey of Orilla. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Cynthia, Zachery, Cole, Ethan, Natania, Woody, Dylan, Deanna, Dustin, Trevor, Kimberly, Elias and Leith. passed away suddenly but peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, December 16, 2008. Mildred was born 75 years ago and was the daughter of the late Henry Herrfort and former Frances Zehr.
Beloved wife of the late David Roes who predeceased her in 1995.
Loving mother of Maxine and Ron Hundt of Gadshill, Kim and Doug Smith of Wroxeter, and Randy and Catharine Roes of Newton. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Todd & Stacey Hundt, Crystal Hundt & friend Jamie Hinz, Rebecka Roes & friend Jeff Mayne, Angie & Wayne Alexander, Nathan Smith & friend Heloise Serion, Courtney & Tom Moores and also her 6 great-grandchildren.
