passed away on Thursday December 2, 2010 at St. Marys Hospital, Kitchener. Ken resided in Milverton and was fomerly of Port Elgin. He was born 76 years ago in Arran Township and was the son of the late Neil MacLean & Elizabeth (Daniel) Locking.
Beloved husband of Myra (Denstedt) MacLean with whom he spent fifteen years. Loving father of Julie & Terry Hall of Southampton, Brent & Monique MacLean of Shelburne and Jackie & Mike Kelly of Port Elgin. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Crystal, Michael (Jodi), Ken (Jody), Jordan, Braden and his great-grandchildren Evan, Alex, Ariana and Isabella. Ken will be remembered by his step-children Doug & Kim Smith of Wroxeter, Rod & Joanne Smith of Stratford, Perry & Valerie Smith of Surrey, B.C., Paul & Trish Smith of Monkton, his 14 step-grandhildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Marlene McLean of Oakville, Kathleen & Bob Neal of Fonthill, Lorna & Bob Scrimgeour and Garry Irwin all of Milverton. Ken was predeceased by his 1st wife June (Stanley) MacLean June 9, 1986, daughter Trudy Lee in infancy, sister Joan & Gord Varley, step-son David Smith, step-grandson Gavin Smith and sister-in-law Jackie Irwin,
Ken attended Burns Presbyterian Church, Milverton and was a member of Canadian Standardbred Horseman’s Association and participated in harness racing all over Ontario.
Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Sunday December 5, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. where Pastor Jim Stewart will officiate. Kelterborn, Malcolm John (Mac)

Died: December 06, 2010
passed away at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton on Monday, December 6, 2010. Mac was born in Milverton 79 years ago, a son of the late Willoet Kelterborn and the former Luella Zimmerman.
He resided in Milverton and was formerly of “Beach O’ Pines” Grand Bend.
Beloved husband of Sylvia Kelterborn (nee Larmour) of Milverton. Loving father of Anthony (Tony) and Jenn Kelterborn of Bracebridge, Kirby Kelterborn of Milverton, Jeffrey and Marianne Kelterborn of Amherstburg, and Jody Kelterborn of Strathroy. Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Reginald (Reg) and Margaret Kelterborn of Milverton. He was predeceased by a brother Robert Kelterborn.
As per Mac’s wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Parkinson Society, Alzheimer Society or Knollcrest Lodge would be appreciated by the family.
Tomiuk, (Guenther) Frances Margaret

passed away suddenly, but peacefully on Thursday December 9, 2010 at Stratford General Hospital. Fran resided in Milverton and was born there 73 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Gordon & Margaret (Chalmers) Guenther.
Beloved wife of John Tomiuk, whom she married August 16, 1957. Loving mother of Tim Tomiuk & Kathy Roes of Newton, Terry Tomiuk & Carlene Case of Massey. Loving and very proud “Nana” to Dylan, Jesse, Justin and Brian. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Eleanor Bray of Oakville, George & Joan Guenther of Milverton and Marie Wachnuk of Timmins. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Fran was predeceased by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Nick & Nora Tomiuk, Bill & Nell Tomiuk, Jack & Mary Tomiuk, Daniel & Edith Tomiuk and George Wachnuk.
Fran was a member of Burns Presbyterian Church, Milverton and loved to sing hymns. Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren and she wouldn’t hesitate to share their accomplishments. One of her favorite pastimes was watching her grandchildren and their teammates play ball and hockey. She also had a passion for figure skating which she participated in throughout her life. Fran had worked at Scotia Bank in Milverton for 33 years.

Zehr, Allan

passed away on Tuesday October 7, 2008 at Listowel Memorial Hospital. Allan resided at R.R. # 1 Newton and was born 75 years ago in Mornington Township. He was the son of the late Cornelius & Christina (Steckley) Zehr.
Beloved husband of Marg (Suitter) Zehr whom he married March 22, 1957. Loving father of Susan & husband Sanford Kuepfer of R.R. # 1 Newton, Sally Zehr of London, Sandra & husband Greg Albrecht of Newton. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jeremy & Krista Kuepfer, Kevin Kuepfer & Amy Walter, Rachel Kuepfer, Ashley Albrecht and Alex Albrecht. Missed by his sister Lydiann Leis of Wellesley, sister-in-law Barbara Ames of San Diego, California and brother-in-law Murray Swartz of London. Allan was predeceased by a sister in infancy, sister-in-law Cathy Swartz and brothers-in-law Edmund Leis and Norman Ames.
Allan was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Milverton. Allan was a former member of the Milverton Snowmobile Club and curled with the Milverton Curling Club and drove school bus in the area for many years.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will take place at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer St., Milverton on Thursday October 9, 2008 from 5-8 p.m.. A service to celebrate Allan’s life will take place on Friday October 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Milverton with Pastor Christie Morrow officiating. Interment in Greenwood cemetery , Milverton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.

passed away on Monday August 9, 2009 at Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre. Armand resided in Kitchener and was formerly of R.R. # 1 Milverton. He was born August 31, 1928 in Mornington Township. He was the son of the late Jacob H. & Mattie (Steinman) Albrecht.
Beloved husband of Elenore (Heidebrecht) Albrecht whom he married July 1, 1967. Dear father of Jonathan Albrecht & wife Jeannette Ho of Toronto, David Albrecht & wife Monica Galleani-Albrecht and Tim & wife Carolyn Albrecht all of Kitchener. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Alexander, Elizabeth, Olivia, Alexis and Aaron. Loving brother of Lena & husband Robert Shantz of New Hamburg, Harry & wife Lucille Albrecht, Ervin & wife Marjorie Albrecht, Eileen & husband Gordon Woolner all of Kitchener and George & wife Edith Albrecht of London. Also remembered by sister-in-law Laurene Albrecht of Drayton, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Don Heidebrecht, Arnold & wife Irma Heidebrecht all of Tofield, AB, Doris & husband Arnie Wiens of Prince Albert, SK and many nieces and nephews. Kenneth Wesley Krotz

Ken Krotz of Millbank passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor ending his long battle with Parkinson’s. Predeceased by his parents Wesley and Rhoda (Berlett)Krotz and sister Frances (Robert) Cooper, he is survived by his best friend and wife of 50 years Mary Jane (Nahrgang). Proud father of Tony (Yvonne) Krotz and Vicki (Max) Lass and grandfather of Alex, Owen and Ava. Survived by sister Barb (Hugh) Tanner and Mother-in-Law Ethel (the late Arthur) Nahrgang and family, uncle Ken will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Ken was a proud cheese maker at Millbank Cheese & Butter for 46 years. He was well respected in the industry for his mastery of the craft. Hobbies included golfing, reading and time spent at the family cottage at Paradise Lake. Ken was a member of Millbank United Church where he held many offices over the years.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will take place on Tuesday August 11, 1:30 p.m. at Millbank United Church. Burial at Knox-Wesley cemetery , Millbank. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy donations to the Millbank United Church would be appreciated. Knox, John Audley

John Audley Knox, in his 103rd year on Sunday, August 3, 2009 at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton.
He was born in Thamesford and moved to farm at Millbank with his parents, John & Susanna Knox. Beloved husband of the late Celia (nee Balch) Knox who predeceased him February 28, 2000. Dear father of Susan Knox (Jep Ball) of Kamloops, B.C., Mary Oliver (Philip) of Moncton, N.B., and Molly Knox of Ottawa. Sadly missed by grandchildren John, Sarah, Gabrielle, and Patricia. John was predeceased by a son Maurice Knox, brothers Melville & Marjorie Knox, George & Charlotte Knox, and Maurice Knox, sister Winnifred & Charles Young. Also remembered by sister-in-law Ruth Wyatt.
John was a 50 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 565 having served as an engineer overseas in World War II, and was a life long member of Grace Anglican Church, Millbank. He will be remembered for experiments in alternate energy and organic gardening.

Harry John Gidge, Sr.

It is with great sadness that the family of Harry John Gidge, Sr. announces his passing on Friday July 17, 2009 in his 56th year. Loving husband of Jackie (Denstedt), dear and loving father to Zachary, Courtney and Sawyer all at home. Also left to mourn are his sons Harry Jr. (Tiffany) and Brian (Lacey) all of Stratford. Harry will be forever remembered by grandchildren Carmondy, Aleesyia, Kurt and Kara. Also missed by his father Abel (Dorothy) Gidge, brother Donald (Viola) Burge, uncles and aunts, Arthur (Sarah) Gidge, Winston Gidge, Morley (Bernice) Gidge, Martha Gidge all of Newfoundalnd, father-in-law and mother-in-law Clare & Bonnie Lou Denstedt. Harry was predeceased by his mother Mary (Burge) Gidge in 1972, sister Margaret Gidge in 2005, uncle Sandy Gidge in 2003. Harry will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He will be missed by his co-workers at FAG Bearings, Stratford where he was employed for 36 years.

Gerber, Nancy Mae
Gerber, Nancy Mae - passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday June 28, 2009 at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton. Nancy resided in Wellesley. She was born 63 years ago in Ellice Township, a daughter of the late Solomon R. & Edna (Yantzi) Gerber. Nancy was a member of Poole Mennonite Church and had been employed at Blackstone Industries in Stratford and more recently at Wellesley Apple Products. Nancy enjoyed music especially playing her guitar.
Dear longtime friend of Bill Wickenheiser of Amulree. Loving sister of Mary Gingerich of Zurich, Marlene & Norman Steckly of Milverton, Freida & Toby Faulhafer of Sebringville, Lloyd & Connie Gerber of Hepworth, and Wayne & Joyce Gerber of Amulree. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews, Anita & Duane Boles, James & Julie Steckly, Randy & Karen Steckly, Jeff Faulhafer, Rob & Karen Faulhafer, Ginnie & Rob Perry, Dan & Michele Gerber, Jason & Michelle Gerber, David & Laura Gerber, Angela & Chris Schyff as well as by 26 great nieces and nephews. Nancy is lovingly remembered by a number of aunts and uncles and many cousins.
Nancy was predeceased by brother Raymond Gerber (in infancy), niece Bonnie Lynn Gingerich (1989), brother-in-law Calvin Gingerich (March, 2009) and by long time friend Pearl Cook.

Henry, Reta Mary Grace

passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Wednesday June 17, 2009 at Stratford General Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Reta resided at R.R. # 4 Listowel and was born 68 years ago in Mornington Township. Beloved wife of Alex Henry with whom she celebrated 48 years of marriage. Loving mother of Kevin Henry & Tammy McKenzie of Perrault Falls, Shawn Henry of Milverton and friend Karen Lewis of Stratford. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Becca Henry, Wyatt and Nash Henry. Missed by her brother-in-law Murray & wife Shirley Henry of Kitchener and dear friend Betty Gray of Stratford and a number of nieces and nephews. Reta was predeceased by her parents Roland & Beatrice (Blough) Harvey, son Mike (2003) and grandson Kole Henry (1998).
Reta was a member of St. Paul’s United Church, Milverton, Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch 565, Milverton Snowmobile Club and the NCO Club of Listowel. Reta was an avid gardener and enjoyed square dancing for many years.
In keeping with Reta’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Reta’s life will be held at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Monday June 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Beaumont officiating. A private family interment to take place in Greenwood cemetery , Milverton.
