Roth, Barbara
Born: June 24, 1914
Died: November 27, 2010

passed away on Saturday November 27, 2010 at her residence Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton. Barbara was formerly of Stratford and Waterloo. She was born 96 years ago in South Easthope Township and was the daughter of the late John & Mary Ann (Lichti) Kropf.
Beloved wife of the late Elmer V. Roth whom predeceased her March 27, 1991. Dear mother of Bernice & husband Roy Steckley of Neustadt, Marlene Herrfort of R.R. # 1 Newton and Janice & husband Larry Kropf of Milverton. Sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Clarence & wife Jean Kropf of Stratford, Elton & wife Sylvia Kropf of Tavistock, Bernetta & husband Ralph Ruby of Chatham, Mary Ellen & husband Steve Gingrich of Zurich, and Selina Zehr of Millbank. Remembered by sisters-in-law Marjorie & husband Ervin Albrecht, Marcella & husband Henry Martin and brothers-in-law Mervin & wife Gladys Roth and Jake Spenler. Barbara was predeceased by her daughter Carol Roth (April 2010) and son-in-law Mel Herrfort (December 2009), sisters Irene & husband Menno Albrecht, Idella & husband Alvin Leis, Janet & husband George Rush, brothers Mervin & wife Dorothy Kropf and Earl Kropf.
Barbara was a member of Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank. She enjoyed quilting and gardening.
Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton today (Monday) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday November 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Riverdale Mennonite Church with Pastor Jim Brown officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee or Riverdale Mennonite Church.

KENNETH WESLEY KROTZ
January 30, 1936 - August 7, 2009

Ken Krotz of Millbank passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor, ending his long battle with Parkinson's. Predeceased by his parents, Wesley and Rhoda (Berlett) Krotz, and sister, Frances (Robert) Cooper. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 50 years, Mary Jane (Nahrgang). Proud father of Tony (Yvonne) Krotz and Vicki (Max) Lass, and grandfather of Alex, Owen and Ava. Survived by sister, Barb (Hugh) Tanner, and mother-in-law, Ethel (the late Arthur) Nahrgang, and family. Uncle Ken will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Ken was a proud cheese maker at Millbank Cheese and Butter for 46 years. He was well respected in the industry for his mastery of the craft. Hobbies included golfing, reading and time spent at the family cottage at Paradise Lake. Ken was a member of Millbank United Church where he held many offices over the years. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will take place on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Millbank United Church. Burial at Knox-Wesley cemetery , Millbank. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy donations to the Millbank United Church would be appreciated. His family would like to thank his doctors, the staff at Hillside and his caregivers Eldie and Verena for their continual support during his long battle. KNOX, John Audley

John Audley Knox, in his 103rd year, on Sunday, August 2, 2009, at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton. He was born in Thamesford, and moved to farm at Millbank with his parents John and Susanna Knox. Beloved husband of the late Celia (nee Balch) Knox, who predeceased him February 28, 2000. Dear father of Susan Knox (Jep Ball) of Kamloops, B.C., Mary Oliver (Philip) of Moncton, New Brunswick and Molly Knox of Ottawa. Sadly missed by grandchildren, John, Sarah, Gabrielle and Patricia. John was predeceased by a son, Maurice Knox; brothers, Melville and Marjorie Knox, George and Charlotte Knox, and Maurice Knox; sister, Winnifred and Charles Young. Also remembered by sister-in-law, Ruth Wyatt. John was a 50-year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 565, having served as an engineer overseas in the Second World War, and was a lifelong member of Grace Anglican Church, Millbank. He will be remembered for experiments in alternate energy and organic gardening. Visitation at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 7 Spencer Street, Milverton today (Wednesday) from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate John's life will be held at the Millbank United Church on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. ** PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE FOR THE FUNERAL ** Interment in Grace Anglican cemetery , Millbank. PAULINE G. SPENCER
1954 - 2009

After a courageous battle with cancer, Pauline peacefully passed away, surrounded by family, at her home in Waterloo, on Monday, August 3, 2009. Pauline is survived by her daughter, Nicole Delion; parents, Lyle and Reta (nee Noble) Spencer; sisters, Carol Spencer and partner Gary Huenemoeder and Susan Spencer-Gagne and husband Yvan Gagne; and niece and nephew, Sidney and Sean Gagne. Sadly missed by Gee Wong. Pauline was a graduate of the University of Waterloo, employed by Wilfrid Laurier University as Associate Registrar/Student Awards for 24 years and will be remembered by her many colleagues, students and friends. Pauline's greatest passion was riding and taking care of her horse Bailey, and through riding, she developed some of her strongest friendships. Pauline came to think of Ineke Boa, her riding coach, as her best friend and a comfort in times of need. Under Ineke's tutelage, Pauline won first place in the Showmanship Class at the 2008 Milverton Horse Show. A special thanks to Dr. Tan, Dr. Keleher and Dianne Osborne, RN for providing care with both compassion and professionalism. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Pauline during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, August 6 (today) from 7-9 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate Pauline's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Linda Ashfield officiating. A reception will follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. SCHAUBER, Barbara

Of Listowel and formerly of Milverton, passed away at London Health Sciences Centre, on Friday, August 14, 2009, in her 52nd year. Dear mother of Fraser Wight, and Heather Wight, both of Listowel. Sister of Marilyn and Bill Dale of Milverton, and Jim and Pat Schauber of Arran Lake. Lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, Darlene Schnock; and by her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home , Listowel on Sunday from 1-4 p.m., with a Legion Auxiliary Memorial Service at 12:45 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Jeffery Dale officiating. Interment in Greenwood cemetery , Milverton. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and charity of your choice would be appreciated.

ALBRECHT, Armand

ALBRECHT, Armand - passed away on Monday, August 9, 2009, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Armand resided in Kitchener and was formerly of RR 1, Milverton. He was born August 31, 1928 in Mornington Township. He was the son of the late Jacob H. and Mattie (Steinman) Albrecht. Beloved husband of Elenore Heidebrecht) Albrecht whom he married July 1, 1967. Dear father of Jonathan Albrecht and wife Jeannette Ho of Toronto, David Albrecht and wife Monica Galleani-Albrecht and Tim and wife Carolyn Albrecht all of Kitchener. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Alexander, Elizabeth, Olivia, Alexis and Aaron. Loving brother of Lena and husband Robert Shantz of New Hamburg, Harry and wife Lucille Albrecht, Ervin and wife Marjorie Albrecht, Eileen and husband Gordon Woolner all of Kitchener and George and wife Edith Albrecht of London. Also remembered by sister-in-law Laurene Albrecht of Drayton, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Don Heidebrecht, Arnold and wife Irma Heidebrecht all of Tofield, AB, Doris and husband Arnie Wiens of Prince Albert, SK and many nieces and nephews. Armand was predeceased by sisters, Selina and husband Enos Boshart, Clara and husband Alvin Schlegel, Verna and husband Carl Siemon and brothers, Lorne and wife Emma Albrecht, Emmanuel Albrecht; five half-brothers and two half-sisters. KUEPFER, Joyce Louise - Passed away, suddenly, on Monday, June 11, 2001, at Listowel Memorial Hospital. She resided at RR 2, Atwood and was born 37 years ago in Stratford. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith. Dear daughter of Eva (Jantzi) Streicher of Millbank and the late David Streicher; beloved wife of David K. Kuepfer, who she married July 25, 1985; loving sister of Loretta and her husband James Keupfer of RR 1, Newton, Marlene and her husband Isaac Kuepfer of RR 4, Listowel, Juanita and her husband Justin Weber of Monkton, Merton and his wife Laura Streicher of Belgrave, Perry and his wife Miriam Streicher of Wellesley and Murray Streicher of Millbank. Also re membered by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Isaac and his wife Christena Kuepfer of RR 1, Newton and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Stephen Kuepfer, Marvin and his wife Sarah Kuepfer, all of RR 2, Atwood, David's twin, Dannie and his wife Wendy Kuepfer, Alvin and his wife Anna Mae Kuepfer, all of RR 1, Newton and Kathleen and her husband Kenneth Albrecht of RR 1, Milverton and a number of nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her grand parents, Samuel and Christena Jantzi and Gideon and Annie Streicher. Family and friends may call at the home of Marvin Kuepfer, Road 140 #6879, RR 2, Atwood, after 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) and until Friday, June 15, 2001, when the service will take place at 1 p.m., with Bishop Rufus Kuepfer officiating. LAMBKIN, Irene Blanche (nee McBeth) - Of Waterloo and formerly of Moorefield, passed away, peacefully, at Palmerston and District Hospital, on Sunday, June 10, 2001, at age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late James Leonard Lambkin. Dear mother of Ronald Lambkin and his wife Joan of RR 1, Palmerston and Katherine Curtis of Glendon, Alta.; loving grandmother of Debra and her husband William Vollmer of Waterloo, Jeffery Lambkin and his wife Margaret of RR 1, Palmerston, Leonard Lambkin of Waterloo and his friend Melissa, James Curtis and his wife Betsy of Milverton, Sheryl Curtis of Rimbey, Alta., and her friend Rick and Murray Curtis and his fiance e Kathleen of Glendon, Alta.; great-grandmother of Allyson and Kevin Vollmer, Justin, Jennine and Dallon Curtis and Jammie Curtis; loving sister of Eileen and her husband Bill Smith of Hamilton and Doreen (Mrs. Glen Welsh) of Moorefield. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and friends. Predeceased by one daughter, Kathleen, in infancy; one sister, Luella and four brothers, Roy, Emerson, Russell and Donald McBeth. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 12, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston where Rev. Elaine Beattie will conduct the funeral service in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, June 13, 2001 at 2 p.m. Interment Victoria cemetery , Drayton.
